Went here yesterday for my sister’s bday. Ordered scrambled egg on toast. It arrived like slop on the plate. Had been done in a microwave and hadn’t been scrambled. Toast was on the side and not buttered with no butter alongside. Completely tasteless. The only thing that saves it is the lovely waitress who was really nice and the gluten free caramel cake which was delicious. Won’t be back though as overpriced and too rustic for my taste.

My gluten free wife and I dined here for dinner. I had the tangine, it was great. She had the steak salad and was very happy. Service was good, we rarely saw the same person twice, but we were taken care of.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff at Topolabamba, they went above and beyond super service for my mum and I when we visited on Saturday 25 January. My mum has quite a big mobility scooter and she always gets stressed about going to restaurants etc with regard to access. I had put on my booking that we had a scooter and when we arrived the maitre d who showed us to our table had it all thought out, where my mum could put her scooter, the distance to the table and the distance to the disabled toilets. He was very humourous and dealt with my mum very well. Also a massive thank you for the amount of gluten free dishes on offer, my mum is also coeliac. She loved her visit and she rarely gets out anymore so it was a real treat for her. All the staff was amazing and the food top notch.

Very nice dining atmosphere at this venue and there was an acoustic music gig as well on Halloween. There's a gluten free menu too which is great. Overall, the service was very friendly, especially from Mallory the waitress who served me. The shop could be stocked with a wider variety of souvenir items though.

What a lovely experience, great service, lovely wine and cocktails and the food was amazing. I am celiac and am often limited on what's on offer, but the staff were knowledgeable and there were so many great options. We will definitely return on our next trip to Edinburgh

I found this restaurant on the ‘find me GF app’ and wow, the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. We were served by a lovely blonde lady who was so lovely and really reassuring asking if I was coeliac when ordering. I highly recommend the West House & look forward to returning in the future :)

Incredible food and great service. Picked it out because I needed somewhere that did good gluten free and lactose intolerant food - as soon as we walked in they handed us a special allergen menu with all the gluten items removed. All the food was great (recommend lots of sharing plates - Street food or classics) but the honey shredded pork soft tacos were mindblowing. Good cocktails too, really fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices!

I'm a die hard mowgli fan, and I went to this restaurant twice this week. Good food, good portions, good service, good atmosphere. As a celiac I have never been hurt by this restaurant and it's so nice to have places that you know you can relax with, and just enjoy good food. I have introduced folk to this chain many many times, with great success! Both times I went this week the waitresses were lovely, very attentive, very chatty and on the ball. I think I've eaten the entire gluten free menu by now and there's nothing I wouldn't recommend but when I die want to be buried in sticky tamarind sauce. That might be a bit dramatic but it's very tasty.

My partner is a coeliac and she's also currently feeding our 2 month old who seems to have a cows milk protein allergy at the moment. We're not the easiest to cater for at the moment, but we were really really well looked after. They checked everything carefully and the chef was made aware. The food was absolutely flipping amazing. I had a Jai and saag aloo myself and it was phenomenal. I'll definitely be going back! Thank you for looking after us.

This restaurant was recommended as it has an extensive gluten-free menu. The staff were very willing to help and overall, the restaurant had a very positive atmosphere. Very close to the Music Hall, so excellently situated for a meal before a show. The food was delicious and the tiramisu in particular was fantastic. A tip was automatically added to the bill, but staff made sure to point it out before payment and the service was certainly worth it.

They used to be gluten free friendly with thier menu but now made it difficult with a folder. It’s not in order of the menu. Servers don’t know what’s gluten free and what’s not. Wouldn’t recommend it. They were rude about it when I asked is this the gluten free dish.

Me and my family went for afternoon tea, I have celiac disease and I was worried that they wouldn't have a good selection but I could choose from a bunch of sandwich fillings, I got a HUGE scone (served with in house made cream that had a lovely vanilla taste to it) and some cupcakes! It was really nice, you can have tea in cute little fine China cups with the little spoons and suger cubes! It was adorable! The restaurant was full and they actually had to turn away walk ins! The staff are lovely and the inside of the restaurant gives me modern and cozy vibes! Definitely worth a visit! Just hope your lucky enough to get a table!

Chloe, Kirsty and Alice were very helpful and accommodating. We had a coeliac member in our party and we were informed very well what could be gluten free. The food was outstanding and drinks were great - especially the razzle dazzle mocktail. Thanks for a great night!

Love this place!!!! Came in here yesterday and the first thing you notice is the decor, beautifully designed and gorgeous at night. Such a calm atmosphere which i appreciated as someone who gets overwhelmed with busy/loud places, this experience was relaxing and a great place to talk with friends while celebrating a birthday. Staff are lovely and helpful, even approached us to ask if we wanted them to sing happy birthday with us as they had noticed my friends 19th sash. Food was amazing, the gnocchi was delicious. Gluten Free options aswell!!! No complaints good portions. Overall, a lovely place to visit that is calm and has great food, five stars!

Wow! Just wow! From a great smile at the entrance to immediate service. Followed by recommendations, attention to detail and small talk! I’m traveling solo and this was an experience that just made me smile and feel comfortable on Easter Sunday! Highly recommend the Duck and “gluten-free” waffles! Also had a great Bloody Mary! Really surprised by this place having heard very mixed reviews. The food was very good (clean plates all round) as was the service. They were more thorough with my being gluten free than I've ever experienced and the GF options were plentiful. It's very nicely decorated too. We will definitely go back.

This is a bar focused restaurant, so it's quite casual. Gluten-free churros, with delicious dip- highly recommended. Yum! The roasted beets ranged from cold to hot but mostly luke warm. Beets tasted good, but I was bothed by the temperature inconsistency. I was told this was normal.

Be warned if you go there as someone with allergies. My mother went here and got a severe allergic reactions (she's celiac). Informed the staff as such, the waitress took our order correctly as we saw what she'd written down, and then proceeded to receive a fully glutened meal, and told only AFTER my mother took a bite. When she ran off to the restroom, we were then served a VEGAN meal, which is not the same as gluten. Shame on you, chefs. And the manager for not even giving us a second glance, where in a potential situation an ambulance could've been called. Shame on you.

Went with my mum and aunt, mum is coeliac. Both rated their food 10/10 (and are usually a little fussy). My burger was great, chips fluffy and generous portions. Beef burger slightly pink and tender, gluten free fish and chips crumbed batter lovely and crisp. Service very friendly and warm.

I went for the unlimited tapas last night and I explicitly said multiple times that I’m allergic to gluten and they fed me 3 gluten tacos. In which I had to go hospital after the dinner. - they still charged me for the meal.

Wow, this place was just amazing. We spent 2.5 weeks in Scotland and this was probably our favorite restaurant/meal of the trip. Food and cocktails were amazing. I can’t have gluten and even their meals with no gluten ingredients were fantastic. Wish we had time to go back a second time.

Typical Scottish pub. Very good atmosphere, good music and gluten-free food without problems. What can be adapted without gluten, they put it on the menu or they adapt it if possible. Celiacs, you can eat without problems. The best gluten free brownie I have ever tasted
