This was lovely. As a human with gluten intolerance it gets old feeling like I have to apologize for asking what the ingredients are and explaining why and what half the time in restaurants. Here, everything is clearly marked, our waiter asked about preferences right up front and was able to say what menu items to avoid and how other menu items could be easily modified. He was fantastic. The food and cocktails were delicious as was the ambience.

Yall! This is the place! Fellow vegetarians/vegans, this is an incredible spot to check out. Blue has an extensive vegan sushi menu & it is DIVINE. I have never had any sushi I’ve enjoyed, so I was uncertain at first. I met my parents here for dinner since they are huge sushi lovers & I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was absolutely some of the best food I’ve had in a minute at a restaurant as a vegetarian. Started off with the charred edamame, bc who doesn’t love a great bowl of edamame before dinner? I use to not love sushi bc of the seaweed wrap, so I was happy to know they had alternatives, soy rice paper & cucumber. I enjoyed their Thai & Crunchy Cabbagge rolls. I was shocked at how much I loved sushi, even went back a day later lol. Everything was super tasty. The flavors & textures were everything!!! Not only was the food great, but I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Our bartender Gabrielle provided excellent service. My family & I appreciated your kindness! Gabrielle was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My mom is gluten free & we are always grateful when our server is eager to help & knows how to accommodate. Thank you for your service, can’t wait to come back!

We love dining at Corto Lima. This place knows how to do Mexican food in a way that will surprise it's guests! Their menu is filled with an array of delicious dishes that are sure to satisfy your palate. And there are quite a few vegan and gluten free dishes for those v/gf peeps. Let's start with their guacamole because it's been our go to. It's rich and bursting with flavor. Served on a grape leaf and topped with finely chopped onions and tomatoes, you can really taste the freshness of the avocados, and it was just the right amount of tangy. Without a doubt, we're in love with their guac! The spicy margs are exceptional as well. They use a cousin to the jalapeno that gives the marg a more reddish tint and taste even fresher. Very well done. We also tried their ceviche which was good but not what you'd normally expect from a ceviche dish. It came topped with corn nuts which added an interesting twist. Definitely worth trying if you're up for something different. Among our favorites was definitely the Lomo Saltado. The flavors were bold and spicy which made it mouth-wateringly good! The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Of course, you really can't go wrong ordering any of their tacos. Just slightly smaller portions. If you're in search of scrumptious Mexican food that stays true to its roots while offering unique twists, this place won't disappoint!

The food was lackluster, my tacos were dry, and the flavors were just ok. The service was absolutely minimal, a little snippy at the register and food delivery was fine. The atmosphere is loud, and kinda worn out but clean. I thought this place was great when it opened. I went every week, but I became gluten intolerant and they only have 3 tacos that I can eat, so I've only come back a couple of times. Both visits in the last year were like this so I feel fine saying that it's mediocre.

Writing this review for our server, Will. He was very attentive in our needs, especially for Carol who has a Gluten allergy. He helped her with the menu and explained everything in detail. He insured that she received what she asked for and made sure everything was not contaminated for her. He took very good care of our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Please give him a raise because you have a gold mine working for you that really cares for the customer. Please tell him thank you again from Carol, Walt, Jennie and Greg.

Brianna was amazing. I told her about my food allergies and she immediately put them into the system to alert the cooks about cross contamination. They have a gluten free chicken breading option, and gluten free buns, and all of the food was delicious. I also highly recommend the BOM Sidecar, which is a slight twist on a sidecar with bourbon instead of cognac. My mom said she only didn't lick the plate because she was in public, so apparently the fried fish and derby salad were also excellent.

Our first time here and will definitely gonna be back! We loved the calamari so much that we had to order another one. Drinks are really good as well as the presentation. Owners & staffs are very welcoming! Also would like to mention that they have good selection of Gluten Free items.

It was very busy the Sunday afternoon we were there. They need not seem prepared to have that many people there. Before lunch I went to the bathroom and immediately noticed a very strong stank, sewage smell. I looked around the bathroom was really dirty. During the meal our server was not very attentive while taking our order and it took a long time for refills and to get our check. All in all the food was pretty good. It always seems like they’re very sparing in the pizza toppings for the gluten free pizzas.

Truly can't say enough about this place. Food, cocktails, service, ambiance are all 10/10. We have a celiac/gluten free in the family and they always are very careful in food prep!! Super accommodating to all meal preferences. A spectacular meal every time you go, with an every changing list for food and cocktails, its worth a trip several times a year.

I cannot recommend le moo highly enough. The atmosphere is amazing. I’d call it hunting lodge chic. The furnishing are stylish and comfortable. Our server was polite and attentive. My wife and I were in on a Monday morning, so it was pretty slow. I got the steak and eggs (Supremoo) and a plain waffle. She had the love love me do. The food was outstanding. Mine was a great cut and perfectly cooked medium as I ordered. The eggs were cooked to sunny exctly and were nice and runny. There were plenty of gluten free options, as well. My wife doesn’t tolerate gluten well, so that was really important to us. I hope to be back!

Volare is an up-scale italian restaurant. There's not much more to say! The food is great and mostly unsurprising, the bartenders serve fantastic drinks and the servers are polite and generally knowledgable. If you're looking for a night out with solid food, drink and service this is it. As a person with Celiac disease (gluten allergy) they offer a large portion of thier menu without dreaded flour and even have pasta substitutions for all but the lasagne. I've never been glutened to my knowledge and I leave feeling satisfied. Here are some of the nitpicks, the building and decor itself could use an overhaul or cleanup as particleboard ceilings and 15 year old decor dont lend itself much style. The menu itself is very standard fare as well, but perhaps the predictability is a plus for some diners.

En pointe from start to finish. Very difficult for us to find a delicious, well prepared restaurant meal due to requiring a strict Gluten Free menu. From making the reservation, to the dessert, the staff made every accommodation to ensure not only a safe, but memorable dining experience. The scallops were to die for.

Chef Nate is Amazing! The Lobster Pappardelle is delicious, regular or gluten-free! We got the potato wedges and Mussels for starters. Both were wonderful and gluten-free! We sat on their beautiful patio and enjoyed our freshly prepared meal! Chef Nate is so knowledgeable and capable that when we go back, we will tell him to surprise us! Thanks for making my birthday fabulous!

My wife and I happened upon this place when we couldn't get in for brunch elsewhere. Off the Rails TOTALLY caught us by surprise. The wine tasting is super affordable and everything we tried was delicious (both dry and sweet options). I had the biscuits and gravy (were solid) and my wife (celiac) got the charcuterie board which standard came with gluten free crackers. It was really impressive! We will absolutely come back!

This is the best treatment I've ever had regarding my gluten allergy, and they have the sweetest staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with. I have celiac disease and asked the waitress about an item on the menu. She confirmed with me that it's an allergy and wasn't sure if the food was acceptable, so she asked the kitchen. I ended up having 3 people, one being the manager, trying to accommodate me. The manager offered the salmon, steak, or chicken as choices that he could specially prep for me. I was pretty set on a salad though. I usually trust salads, but they didn't advise I get one because of the kitchen set up.

With few to no options for someone who can’t eat gluten locally, Steak & Stone is truly such a gift. My family shared the gluten free white pizza, which was one the best ones we’ve ever had. The wedge salad was also incredible. Great atmosphere and friendly staff was the icing on top! We can’t wait to visit again!

Wow, the food and atmosphere is great. All of the food is natural, high quality, fresh, and made to order. They also can make things gluten free. The cocktail list is outstanding!! They also have a small retail store that you can purchase wine, beer, pastries, fish, cheeses, etc. Seems to be mostly local farms and businesses! Have an outside patio and have nights with live music so check out their events page. Great for family or that date night. I will be back!!

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! It is, by far, one of the (new) secret treasures in Butchertown. We adore the owner and staff, as we knew most of them from the previous establishment, Decca, and some from other favorite spots in Louisville. The entire menu is thoughtful and creative. The gluten free options are plentiful, as I have CD. Since their menu changes, some of the things I highly recommend this February are: Cocktails: Death Becomes Her Look Alive Salad: Buttermilk greens with garlic strusel Small plates: Marbled potatoes Marinated olives Entrees: The mackerel (tonight's special) ANY steak on the menu (when it's offered) The chicken with Dijon jus (so good)! Honestly, the entire place has been perfectly curated. It's hands down one of the finest places in Louisville all-around.

Wow! Amazing place!! The food (the white pizza with jam and prosciutto was to die-for!!), drinks (I had 3 Northern Lights Mocktails with actual glitter!!), and atmosphere were just awesome! This place knows how to serve up a good time with really delicious food! And the owner and staff are super nice! I’ll be back for sure! 10/10!! Oh and they even had gluten-free pizzas!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
