What an amazing experience this was! The flavours and story telling made it such a unique dinner as we journeyed through Costa Rican food and culture. Charlie our server was fantastic at explaining each dish and helping us understand the tastes we experienced. They also adapted the menu to be gluten free too. Definitely a restaurant that should be top of your list when visiting San Jose!

I loved the place, very cozy, the food was delicious 5 stars and the attention from Steven was great. They have a very good variety of gluten free options: in my case the pork belly and for dessert the caprese cake, I can recommend them 100%. I am usually a non-vegan that usually doesn't want or think about vegan food. But Árbol de Seda makes me vegan bisexual, and good thing because they are LGBTQ-loving. As a gluten free gay married couple, my husband and I love it here! The food and hospitality are natural and masterful. The vegan and gluten free desserts are divine. This place is perfect! Thank you for all the great meals and smiles.

One of my favorite options! You can tell that the ingredients are of good quality, great taste and freshness of the ingredients. It's practically the only restaurant I know where they offer fast food without it being greasy and upsetting to the stomach. I give them all the points for having a clearly marked ingredient bar. I have visited the place with friends who are intolerant to gluten or dairy and we have all been able to enjoy a pleasant time, which is hard to find! Highly recommended.

I liked the service received at this restaurant. The food was very delicious, the meat very soft. The octopus was delicious too. The waiters guide you on what you can order when you have multiple allergies. It is recommended to order grilled if you cannot eat gluten, although I do not recommend for celiacs, since they make bread in the kitchen and there is cross contamination. The other guests did like the desserts, although I couldn't try any because they had wheat and dairy, but here's a photo.

Best pizza in Costa Rica! We eat there almost every week - so far the quality has been absolutely unbeatable! Great service, friendly communication, very flexible and very hard working! The pizzas (and starters) are very fresh, crispy, thin base, great selection of fresh and very good quality toppings... plenty of toppings, including imported sausages, vegetarian and gluten-free options... simply great! Big recommendation!
