What a treat!! They fried the donut to order then glazed it hot… what?! So amazing! I haven’t had a donut (not a crappy cake donut anyways) in over 10 years since my celiac diagnosis. Amazing. Order ahead and pick up because street parking sucks but SO worth it, and the calories.

Love coming to South house before any events at the sports complex. Lots of gluten free food options. Just wish they carried a cider that wasn't downeast!

They take allergies and celiac very seriously here. Although the menu is not marked, you can ask them what is gluten-free. I'm majority of the entrées are. And they have a dedicated fryer and some of the best fries we have ever had. It is one of our go to places and we feel very safe coming here. They've got great protocols in place.
Enjoy a vibrant spot with a diverse menu that caters to various dietary needs while delivering fresh, delicious dishes at great prices.

My daughter and I loved everything about this restaurant. The service was terrific. The tables had beautiful, colorful coverings. The food was amazing and almost everything is gluten free! I had an arepa with chicken salad, it comes topped with creamy shredded gouda. She had the chicken empanadas, which were crispy and delicious. I can't wait to return and try more dishes.
Perfect for groups, this spot offers a cozy atmosphere, accommodating service, and a diverse menu featuring plenty of plant-based options.

The atmosphere is pretty nice. Food was good, I was told that everything was gluten free, but since I got home I’ve had hives and a stomach ache. Not sure if it’s food poisoning or gluten contamination, but might have to see a doctor. Be cautious if you have celiac.
Update: no reply from the company. I did end up in the hospital. Would not recommend.

Solid burger place and the ice cream is good too, especially the peanut butter flavor. Friendly staff, good service. Just remember: cash only (I can only imagine how many times a day the guy taking the order has to break the news to customers as they stare back with a confused look on their face). Gluten free buns are a big plus!
With a fun vibe and an eclectic music selection, this spot serves up delicious sandwiches that leave everyone raving.

Amazing sandwich shop in the middle of Philly. Brilliant option for gluten free, would recommend the hash browns and turkey sandwich with miso mayo on their amazing celiac friendly bread!

Running out of chicken before 7pm, peak dinner time is beyond disappointing. This is your key dish. Do better. Traveled far to support this business after hearing of their gluten free chicken.

Thank god for Nipotina! Ive been searching for a proper gluten free roll for a cheesesteak for some time now. Having Celiac can make finding sandwiches hard but this place makes it easy. They even have gluten free cutlets and a dedicated fryer for certain apps. Would recommend! Cant speak to the atmosphere of the place, got delivery!

The staff are very knowledgeable about gluten, cross contact, and celiac! (I’ve heard that the owner has celiac.) Great food, lots of GF options, the menu is well-labeled, and the atmosphere is great (indoor and outdoor seating)! They also have delicious GF desserts. This restaurant is my go-to.

Very celiac friendly! When I ordered gluten free bread for my sandwich, they immediately asked if I wanted them to make it in a separate part of the kitchen. The food is delicious, there are lots of options, and I’ve always felt very safe eating there.

So excellent that in the two weeks we were visiting Philly, we ate there twice. Not at all hard for people with celiac disease or soy or dairy allergies to eat well.
Great vibes and attentive service make this spot a go-to for delicious meals, even if you mess up your take-out order!

I accidentally placed my take-out order at the wrong Goldie location. When I got to the Goldie in West Philly near UPenn, they didn’t have my order and figured out I placed my order at the Center City location.
The manager and staff were so kind and immediately offered to make me a replacement order on the spot.
The food here is always delicious and the staff are so attentive and friendly.
It’s also amazing that they maintain a gluten-free fryer, which makes it safe for my husband to eat here.
My son and I have Celiac, my son called and spoke to the owner and he assured my son they only have 1 item that has gluten “for the kids” he said. We weee so excited to go and actually have a meal without worry. Server gave us misinformation as to what had gluten and what didn’t , she was wrong. The owner found out that we could have possibly injected gluten he immediately comped a cauliflower platter for us . It was already to late. Drinks were great my daughter had fun picking different options. The owener even has a You Tube video talking about gluten free food , very misleading. A little on the pricey side. But Celiacs beware tons of cross contamination going on!!!!!! Will never go again, sad because we like the tavern , but hate being sick much much more.
