Went to The Little Nel for breakfast while on holidays a few weekends ago. I have not stopped thinking about the açai bowl I had 😍 The banana smoothie was also divine! So many gluten free options which was amazing for my family as we are all gluten intolerant. My sister was also able to order food that was both gluten free AND vegan!
Thank you for catering to all us people with allergies and intolerances! 🙏🏼
Will definitely stop in again if I find myself up that way 🙌🏼

The staff appeared disinterested and rude when we ordered. I am coeliac and paid extra for bread, which is normal, but I was only given one slice of bread for the chilli scrambled eggs, which I wouldn’t expect to pay almost $30 for. The eggs were overcooked and did not taste good. My friends were disappointed by the other meals ordered. The kids meal didn’t even appear to be made in store, and was tiny. Highly disappointing. We were happy to leave and will not be returning.
Enjoy a stunning waterfront setting with fantastic vibes, great service, and a variety of menu options to suit everyone's tastes.

What an amazing find in Nelson Bay! Food is wonderful (very authentic North Indian cuisine, like a home cooked meal), staff are friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about coeliac disease. The menu is nearly entirely gluten free which is pretty rare. Would definitely come back here.
A hidden gem offering delicious dishes and a cozy vibe, ideal for a peaceful dining experience away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing food but unfortunately this place was very quiet when other places were really busy. I am so glad we came here to help support such a lovely restaurant. Only tip is to serve cocktails in correct glasses (Bellini in champagne flute, margaritas don't go in Martini glasses etc) but otherwise this place deserves to be busy. Will happily come back. Also, PLENTY of gluten free options which is incredibly rare for Italian restaurants in general.
A family-friendly spot with a diverse menu and a spacious outdoor area where kids can enjoy the greenery while everyone savors delicious meals.

Great surprising find for us as regular Nelson bay foodies. Great entrees (loved the chilli lime oysters) mains (gamberi prawn pasta, butter chicken and gluten free pizza option…prawn coconut curry all recommend), coffees (best soy late had in Nelson bay) and desert all yum. Topped off by great service. We will be back with others…
Authentically Thai with generous portions and great value, this spot is a must-visit for its vibrant flavors and welcoming vibe.

Very good food. Extremely generous portion. Good value and they were switched on regarding gluten free food for one of our group. We will be back next time we come to Nelson Bay.

Lovely views, but that’s about it.
Parking up near the restaurant can be tricky (very few spaces and not much room to reverse).
Food was fresh but bland eg eggs benedict had no herbs or spices, not even salted enough and poached eggs were cooked through.
Good coffee. Gluten-free option is basic commercial sliced white bread.
With a fantastic variety of ice cream flavors and helpful guidance for local fun, this spot is a must-visit on your adventures.

Went here everyday on our holiday. Icecream was great, so many flavours to choose from and almost all are Gluten Free. Owner was lovely to chat with and helped us out with the best places to swim. Great experience every time.
This cozy spot boasts the best coffee and a diverse selection of health products, with a lovely outdoor area to soak up the sun.

What an amazing store! So good… the owner, who is also a herbalist is so lovely and helpful. Good advice variety of health food products. Also, they have a nice cafe onsite with an outdoor space to sit to enjoy the sun. Lots of plant-based and gluten-free sweets. Thanks and God bless
My daughter and I ate at Bluewater Grill last night and the food was terrible. We saw lamb cutlets on the specials board and were immediately excited. We love cutlets and I was happy to pay the $40 each. Two so called cutlets were served on each plate with chips and salad. These were not lamb cutlets! Maybe they were veal but they certainly did not taste like lamb cutlets. The meat was pounded thin and covered in a horrible herb crust that was soggy due to the glutenous gravy that had been poured over the cutlets.
The whole meal was so disappointing and definitely not worth the very expensive price that was paid.
Exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere make this spot a must-visit, with consistently great coffee that impresses even the pickiest.

Absolutely outstanding with their customer service and their staff. Nothing was a problem at all. Coffee was on point (I'm particular 🤣) the food and atmosphere were fantastic. I'm gluten intolerant and there was no hesitation in accommodating my dietary requirements.
Lovely food, helpful service, accommodating for people with Coeliac disease, decor is a little tired, right above fishing co-op to watch the Fishermen at work
Experience a taste of paradise with incredibly fresh local fare that leaves diners dreaming of their next visit!

We have travelled to Hawaii several
times and I thought that it was the best Thai Food ever! This was comparable to that!!!
We loved the spring rolls, the cashew chicken stir fry, and the fresh fish with ginger. The fish was local, very fresh and cooked perfectly.
My husband is also gluten-free and they were very happy to accommodate.!
Honestly I would love to try everything on the menu. It was so good. We are from Canada and I will have dreams about our dinner there.
Wish we had another night to try the duck! I hear it’s amazing!!!!!
This place has the best gluten free goodies for a bakery I've ever had. I strongly recommend getting the lemon coconut and apple sourdough mini-loaves, it's 2 for $7. Maybe good to call ahead and check if they're in stock.
Pleasant place for some morning tea after a beach and marina walk. Gluten and dairy free options too. Very nice staff, my son even managed to score a second piece of carrot cake, which I kindly offered to help him with😉😋
