Waitress was very thorough clarifying dietary requirements for gluten free Southern Fried chicken & chips pack. I had asked for chicken salt on my chips but they were not salted and were not as crispy as I would have liked. The chicken however was so delicious, it was offered as a 3 piece pack but to my surprise they gave 4 pieces. Even my hubby who isn't coeliac was impressed with the chicken and said it was better than the Colonel's version 😆

Great little cafe when you are out shopping. The staff were great and really understood the different between Coeliac and Gluten sensitivity. They let me know that the fryers were cross contaminated, but were still able to provide a good amount of G/F options. They also let me know that chefs have also had training to understand cooking for gluten intolerance, and have a dedicated space for food prep. As usual, you just need to let them know so they can let the kitchen know. The service was fantastic and food was great!

I've recently picked up a wheat allergy so its really difficult to find Gluten Free fried chicken places. The GF fried chicken is so damm good and definitely as good as normal fried chicken I've had in Melbourne in the past. The ranch sauces makes the already great chicken even better. This place is hands down my favourite GF burger and chicken place in Ballarat; well worth the visit.

Chookas roasts is by far the best customer service you'll ever receive in Ballarat. After menulog making me wait 2 hours for delivery and never delivering it. Andre from chookas roasts was amazing. With remaking my food so it's fresh, apologising when it wasn't even their fault , going above and beyond making sure I got a refund and that I still got my food. The food is great quality, with loads of gluten free options. They will now forever be my favourite restaurant. A huge thank you to Chookas, I will definitely be ordering here again.

To the owners: I have just visited your bakery today and must commend the two young ladies on duty. It was busy but they held their composure and served each customer with patience and the deserved attention. They were polite in telling the waiting customers that they would be with them shortly while serving the other customers. That's what makes an enjoyable experience in visiting any hospitality venue. Please keep up your recruitment policy and look after these two staff of yours. In addition, the coffee and gluten-free beef pie were both delicious.

I wish I'd taken a photo of my beautiful bento box style, Sushi Sushi lunch today. It was delicious, as always. It's so nice to know that I have tasty gluten free options conveniently positioned right near the supermarket when I'm shopping. The eatery is clean and the staff friendly, helpful,, knowledgeable and patient were taking orders given her noisy the environment can be. Would certainly recommend.
