After a very tiring bicycle trip, my husband and I went for a really delicious meal. I ate a very aromatic and vegetable-rich paste, my husband ate pizza with mushrooms. The portions were large and filling, of course gluten-free. Even though there was no reservation, the service was very nice and helpful. I recommend

Delicious plant based organic restaurant (also gluten free, excluding the pasta). All of the ingredients and salads are clearly prepared very fresh and with love.
The menu is essentially bowls or salads with an option to create your own version in store. I got the botanical salad which was so fresh and crunchy, with a delicious house made saffron aioli. I also got the raw raspberry passion fruit cake and really enjoyed it, not too sweet. My friend got the three bean chilli and thought it was delicious.
This is a great place for anyone to come for a delicious meal that leaves you feeling full satisfied with truly healthy organic food.
There is also a nice veranda out back with plenty more seating, even for a larger group.
Expect tasty burgers, a unique vibe, and a wait for service, but keep in mind the restrooms could use some updating.

Someone in our group is gluten intolerant, however, she was given a gluten burger and the gluten free one was given under the incorrect name to someone else in our party. Someone else also received another incorrect burger, when reporting it the waitress continued to insist that this was correct until a colleague came to correct it. Food was tasty but service substandard

We went to this place based on the FindMeGF app as a safe place for people with celiac disease. When we ordered gluten-free beers, they brought us regular beer with gluten twice.
We sent them back, and the waiter finally told us there was no more gluten-free beer and that we should just have that one. We explained to him that celiac disease isn't a fad, but rather a health issue with many serious medical implications. He said, "Well, we always serve regular beer when people order gluten-free, and no one ever complains"
So sad
I do not recommend this place for people with gluten intolerance or coeliac disease.

Fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended. It’s great to find a place that isn’t a tourist trap.
They cater amazingly well for gluten free with a whole range of available dishes. Gluten free beer too (Super 8 Export). Recommend the moussaka. Staff are absolutely superb. Will be back soon!

O'yo Sint-Baafs is one of my favorite addresses when I'm in Ghent. It's such a cozy place. I like to come there with my family, but also to work. Both the service and the food are fantastic. As someone who eats vegan and gluten-free, it's not always easy to find something to eat, let alone something tasty, but at O'yo I'm always in the right place!

GLUTEN FREE waffles SUITABLE for Celiacs.
They have quite a variety of gluten-free toppings (including gluten-free Belgian cookies).
They are expensive for the quantity and quality of the waffles but they are a very good format to eat while visiting the city.
Experience a cozy vibe with a vintage touch, featuring hearty meals served in unique ways and a delightful atmosphere that makes it memorable.

Perfect. They have good gluten free pizza and they are super friendly and efficient. I’ve already ordered a lot of pizzas here and it was always a pleasure.
For glutenfree people it is not recommended to eat here. My experience at the Pizza hut in Gent was very bad. There was only a group of young people (15 years old) working there at the moment. They probably did not know about how glutenfree works. Luckily I could look in the kitchen and see that they cut te gluten-free pizza with the same knife as all the gluten pizzas. They did make a new pizza, I cut it myself. The pizza was square and only half covered with saus and cheese, not delicious. It is known that in places like this there is a high change of cross contamination, but the staff was not carefull at all and not knowledgeable about glutenfree. The overall feeling of this place felt very chaotic. It was not busy during our visit so staff was talking in a group at the table next to us about their free time, not professional. It was also dirty inside the place. I will not visit here again.
We talked to the manager and provided him with some tips for in the future. Because just a few small improvements can make this place a lot more attractive.

Nice but small tent. The tables are close together and it was extremely busy.
But the hot chocolate was delicious. And what was absolutely fantastic was that I could order a gluten-free pancake. And this one was delicious.
Thank you

We went away the first time, as it was late and they had run out of gluten-free cakes, so it was a good idea to go early. On our second visit, we had a Gluten Free Cheesecake and I had a raspberry tart. Both are very delicious, the staff is friendly and the service is quick, nice outdoor seating area, but limited. Tea was disappointing as the water was not hot enough, coffee was decent, but this place is busy, and is not cheap. Overall we were happy with our visit.
Expect a vibrant spot with a variety of vegetarian options and a focus on efficiency, though families may find some facilities lacking.

We often come from Bruges to Ghent to eat in Beiruti, their food and service are amazing! They also have enough lactose-free and gluten-free options, which for us is a big plus.

Delicious food. An authentic restaurant and many attributes of Indian culture can be seen in the restaurant, which is very nice and creates the atmosphere! The food was delicious and the service was great! Vegan & lactose free are also taken into account here, unfortunately there is less choice for gluten free. The masala chai is highly recommended and is full of flavor! I recommend making a reservation here before visiting as it was quite busy.

Don't let this little gem fool you! We came in on Friday night, and the service was exceptional. We had a member of our party with gluten allergies, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate.
Sushi was great by the way! Highly recommend a sushi boat!!

We went to eat a vegetarian one and a celiac one, since they have multiple vegetarian options and the wafer of the rolls is rice. However, they only offered the bacon roll as gluten-free (it was very good). It would be nice if they adapted more rolls since in the others the only thing that had gluten was the sauce that they could have done without. We especially liked the coconut mochi. Economical price. The staff is very friendly.
We went with our little one who has celiac disease and despite indicating it when placing the order, they brought him some pancakes that, although they were very good, had cookies with gluten inside. Unfortunately we couldn't notice until he had already eaten several bites.
I don't like to give bad reviews but it was a very serious and unpleasant situation since as parents we try to protect the little one from cross contamination, not to mention eating gluten-containing cookies directly.
The owner approached us very embarrassed and apologized, she didn't even charge us the bill. I feel sorry for her as she seemed very distressed by her cook's mistake.
Brunch is a hit here, with great service, a vibrant atmosphere, and amazing coffee that keeps everyone coming back for more!

They were all very nice and accommodating! Although the food can be modified to be gluten free (normal bread substituted buy non-gluten bread, etc), I am not sure about cross-contamination or how careful about it they are.
Apart from that, the food and service were top notch!
Nice place, nice views and very good food. For only €10 you get a large soup, drink, bread and fruit. Vegetarian and gluten-free food. Very kind attention.
Regular dinner occasion in Ghent! The stew with fries is an absolute must. The menu uses symbols to indicate what is vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. Also tasty non-alcoholic alternatives!

Very good food, super filling! Nice ambient. There's usually a queue on the outside, it takes about 30 to 40 min. It is worth the wait.
They have gluten free options.

Service was slow, we were with a large group and half of us had already ordered through qr. The waiter came to us and told us that we could only order 4 different dishes and had to change some orders because of this. On the site I was able to choose for bagguette instead of the regular bread but when the waiter listed our order, at first, they told me that it is not possible.. but this time he made an exception for me. They were also out of ingredients of items which were already ordered and had to change some things because of that. The food overall was very tasty though, our gluten intollerant friend got gluten free bread when asked.
Very pleasant café with a very extensive drinks menu. You will find 50+ beers on tap! There is also a gluten-free beer available. It is pleasant to have a leisurely drink and catch up... The interior is that of a brown pub. The sanitary facilities were clean. It was great fun sitting there, again and again. I will definitely go there again!
A nice place to be - late breakfast, weekend menu, a great choice of coffee and other drinks. Gluten free options are great, with delicious gluten free bread. Loved it!
The best pasta bar in Ghent! Very friendly owner with super fast service. Fresh pasta and fresh sauce for a small price! There is also something for everyone (vegetarians, gluten-free,...)
Bizarrely large and tasty chocolate milk, excellent cappuccino. But especially very happy with the gluten-free bread! Also tasty and well-filled. Minced meat sandwich also exactly as expected.
