Tabule has always been my favourite restaurant, my top choice for lunch in the neighborhood. The menu offers a variety of healthy options including gluten free items. The staff here are all pleasant and helpful especially Mina. I look forward to see her there every time.

This place is magical, well the desserts definitely are! Being gluten & dairy free it’s very difficult to find treats that actually taste amazing. All the cakes are super fresh every time and are delicious. If you got someone to taste one of their cupcakes they wouldn’t know that there’s no gluten or dairy in it… that GOOD! Thankful for bloomers, hope they expand even more maybe to Richmond hill ( wishful thinking 🤞)

This place is a lifesaver for gluten-free options! I had the cauliflower with rice, and it was both delicious and safe for my dietary restrictions. It’s so nice to have a place where the staff is knowledgeable about allergens.

TL;DR: Visited Casa Manila a few weeks ago, excited to try a new cuisine. Staff assured me dishes were gluten-free — they weren’t. I got sick. When I raised it, management dismissed my concerns and showed no accountability. They also spoiled my birthday surprise by mentioning the expected cake with candle. Extremely disappointing. If you have dietary restrictions, avoid this place. ----- I visited Casa Manila for the first time and was excited to try a new cuisine. I appreciated the time and care they seemed to put into maintaining a well-labelled menu. My sister arrived before I did and arranged for a candle to be added to the free birthday ice cream for me. The server told me about the surprise ahead of time, spoiling it, but I was still looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the staff misguided me on what was gluten-free. Server 1 said they could accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free and that the adobo could be made gluten-free, after confirming with the kitchen. Server 2 said everything was fine except the jasmine rice, which was odd, but he confirmed after checking that the rice vermicelli could be made gluten-free. After eating, I started feeling off and asked whether the dishes used soy sauce. Server 2 admitted they did, and I had to explain that regular soy sauce contains gluten unless a gluten-free version is used. He clearly didn’t know what he was talking about, so I requested the chef come out. A lady came and instead of addressing the issue seriously, asked if I was just feeling "guilty" for eating gluten. I explained it’s a medical issue and that I was misled despite asking directly. She said customers are responsible for reading labels, but servers should not confidently recommend unsafe options. She admitted they had never dealt with this situation before. I asked what they could do for me, but she offered no solution. I told her I wouldn’t be paying and left. I cradled a bad stomachache and prepared for the onset of hives. Extremely disappointed. If you have any dietary restrictions, be very careful — or better yet, go somewhere else.

I’m Celiac and this location was super accommodating. Making sure that any questions I had were answered. Not only that, they have a dedicated fryer which is not super common. Amalia took care of us and she was super sweet and attentive.

Friday lunch time waited in line for less than 5 minutes before getting my table. Staff was very polite well-trained and efficient. Table was clean and well supplied. Ordered a Gigi omelette with tomato slices as substitution for the fruit. It came with gluten-free toast which tasted very good and was not dry as many gluten-free toasts can be. The omelette was cooked perfectly and the tomato slices and a beautiful flavor and aroma. What can I say even the coffee was good. Overall an excellent experience for this gluten-free Celiac.

One of my favourite go to places in the area! The crepes, sugarcane juice, mojito, and the mushroom soup are SO good. The owner and the employees (shout out to Kian!) are extremely nice, and professional. They set the customer service standard really high! So, kudos to the owner for creating such a welcoming and kind environment. The food items are made in-house so not only are the crepes delicious, but guilt free or at least on the healthier side. They also have gluten free options - so they’re very accommodating when it comes to dieters accommodations! They also prepare the food pretty fast - so you’re in and out quickly. Thanks for always providing great food and service - I’ll see you guys soon!

My go-to burrito place. They have many gluten free options, including a gluten free burrito. Their chicken burrito, steak burrito, and the chips and guac are fantastic. The burritos consistently have a good amount and dispersement of filling, and a great crunch. The burritos are also structurally sound - we don't often end up with the filling spilling out. In addition to the tasty food, the service is great. An overall great experience that I'll continue coming back for.

I've been to this place before and had quite a pleasurable experience. I came back for the last evening of Winterlicious. I made a reservation and they seated my self and one other person right away. It took over 25 minutes for a waiter to come check in. After one did (she apologized for the wait and said she wasn't even supposed to be our waitress) then 5 minutes later someone else came (over 30 mins total). The restaurant had some tables but it really wasn't too busy. The meal took a VERY long time to come out. The only decent thing was the Apetizers, but the food took so long to come it wasnt worth sending it back and waiting for more. The dessert did come quickly. Both meals were plain and tasted like nothing special. They were able to accommodate for a gluten allergy. I was disappointed since I have had such good experiences there before.

For 2, we didn't have to wait long. The table was small so couldn't put food and drinks around comfortably. Server was nice, but a little slow and forgot we ordered the drinks first. My food was delicious. I would recommend the Chicken Riesling. The dessert were great sizes and tasty. The gluten-free most popular dish (whatever it was called) was disappointing. Free bread, but the prices were overall overpriced. Free bread!

Visited Safari Bar and Grill for the first time on a Sunday night. The wait staff and bartender where incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. The food was fresh, cooked as requested, hot and delicious AND they have a huge selection of food for gluten sensitive individuals. The patio was covered and heated, which will be very useful when it rains or gets colder, and there was a great games room upstairs. It was a truly memorable visit, and I hope to return soon!

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff we encountered were all pleasant. It was a bit disappointing that the frittura mista cost $22 for such a small portion. Although it was really good, not sure that it’s worth the high cost for the small portion. I ordered the casarecce aromantica and thought it was a bit bland. I tried my boyfriend’s bolognese and it was quite good. I also tried my sister’s rigatoni russa (but penne for gluten free) which was also very good. The tiramisu was very liquidy which was disappointing. I’d give the overall experience a 6/10. I’d go again if a friend/family wanted to go there but I don’t think I’d go back on my own volition.

Love that they offer small tubs and one can choose different flavours. Excellent quality. This is 100% real gelato --same texture as in artisanal gelaterias in Rome. Excellent use of innovative ingredients for unique flavours. Some are dairy and gluten free.

Had a large group during a slow period, so we had lots of attention from the server. Found the service to be above average on the whole and very hospitable. Food tasted great and they were able to accommodate a gluten free request of one of our party members. Great GF crust, very fluffy and similar to a normal crust.

This is a neighbourhood favourite . It’s been around for a very long time! The food is excellent and good quality. The blackened salmon was delicious. The cauliflower could have been cooked a tiny bit longer but that’s my preference. I have a gluten allergy and had a lot of options to choose from! Will definitely return.

We enjoyed the fixed dinner menu which had great choices and was a very fair price! The risotto was our favourite (my boyfriend had the tagliatelle salsiccia which was well done just not "AMAZING!"). The orange polenta cake was gorgeous and on a vegetarian & gluten free diet I still had so many choices. Cocktails were beautiful and unique also. We will be back!

This hidden gem is fantastic! The cakes are so fresh, the pastries are delicious, not too busy so you can grab a seat & enjoy. Every time I have been there, they have had seating available. I highly recommend trying the almond or pistachio croissant, they actually cut down the middle & fill with the nut paste (almond paste/pistachio paste) so every bit has an explosion of flavour... They also have a swiss roll/cake roll with butter icing inside & lots of it, that comes in 4 flavours, pistachio is divine! So Yummy! A nice selection of drinks to pair with your bakery choice hot & cold. They use a butter icing, that is so light & you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. If you are not a sweets lover they have a diverse selection of nuts, roasted & exotic. They also have savory meat or vegetable pastries to indulge in for a snack or meal. Full cakes available for special events, customizable as well. No gluten free options, no nut free unfortunately & vegans do have the nuts as an option (they can accommodate vegetarian as they eat eggs/milk). The staff & owner are kind, patient & helpful. The environment is quiet, modern & light filled, perfect for a meet up or date. Lots of parking available as it is in a business facility. Bus also available either on Leslie or a 10 minute walk from York Mills. 2 entrances off Leslie, can be hard to see from the road. Also has many interesting businesses in the area like poster warehouse & gym.

The server, Helen, was wonderful and gave great suggestions on what to order. The red curry is the best I’ve had anywhere. This is a great place to come if you have a gluten allergy. They have gluten free soy sauce and can make many dishes gluten free. I will be back!

The GCB team's kindness and consideration in donating 20 bagels for our upcoming event was a gesture that was beyond comparison to anything I have ever seen. I've visited this location twice and each time there were 4 people working. Every single one of them engaged with us in such a positive way. They all had smiles on their faces and gave us tons of feedback on building our own pizza. We could tell they all get along with each other too which also made our experience that much better. On top of all that, the pizza was absolutely delicious….by far, the best pizza I’ve had AND it was Gluten-Free 😊 I will tell all my friends to try PI-CO for their next Pizza order but more importantly, I will be telling everyone to visit that specific location to make their experience an absolute pleasure. Umami Sushi is our go-to for sushi. Always fresh and delicious. Easy online ordering. Timely delivery. They do an EXCELLENT job of gluten free, including GF soy sauce, GF stickers making it clear your food was prepared safely. They also have their own GF crunch which is delicious. Their spicy mayo is extra yummy. The tuna, rice and avocado always fresh and yummmmm. Highly recommend. Love the Dragon and edamame.

If anyone is looking for an amazing dining experience, La Luce Ristorante is where it's at... We celebrated our Parents 60th Anniversary at La Luce and we absolutely loved everything from the food and service right down to the table decor!!... La Luce has a fantastic food selection offering set menus with great choices and gluten-free and vegan options.. We had a gluten-free person in our group and it was very refreshing that La Luce takes dietary restrictions seriously... All the food was excellent and it was beautifully presented as well... The service was very efficient from start to finish and the Staff was very pleasant, attentive and courteous... A special shout out to La Luce's Event Planner Carmelina Vinciguerra for all her help with the menu and table decor!!... She was an absolute GEM with her friendly demeanor and great sense of humour... I was very comfortable with Carmelina where I felt like I've known her for years... Carmelina knew the menu well and offered great recommendations and her beautiful table decor, which included personalized menus, exceeded our expectations adding a special touch to our dinner... Kudos to the entire Team at La Luce for making our Parents very happy as you made their 60th Anniversary Dinner very special and truly memorable!!... We'll definately be back!!... I ordered the gluten-free pasta and a house salad. The Alfredo sauce was probably the best I ever had, although I forgot to ask if they used flour for thickener. I imagine that they would let me know if I order gluten-free 🤔 The house salad was too basic, I would skip it.
