Rustic restaurant as the name suggests, appreciated atmosphere. They also had gluten-free tagliatelle which I enjoyed with the venison ragu. I appreciated that they also had gluten-free crackers, which is not a given. The only piece of advice for those who go especially in winter is to be careful not to take the small road that passes through the town of Someraro, it is really narrow and we struggled especially given the snow that had fallen a few days before, prefer the wide road that comes from above, Google maps was not of the same idea unfortunately.

Without reservations we arrived with a group of 10. The waiter took all the time for us and made a long table free so we could all sit together. The menu was available in several languages ​​and we were helped in a friendly manner. The pizzas were delicious, although we have eaten even tastier pizzas elsewhere. I booked a table for 2 for tonight, which is Friday. I asked if gluten free pasta was available as reported on the website: they answered that on weekends they do not cook it. We booked anyway. We arrived on time and saw 2 guests leaving a table for 4 persons in the veranda; as soon as we were attended by the owner, she spoke to us very rudely offering a table inside. The guests kindly offered their table but she insisted that she didn’t want to give that table to us. It was 9pm, the table had no reservation and could have been split in two. In order to calm her bad temper, I pointed out that we had a reservation. She persisted to make us sit in a table inside. In front of such unkindness we decided to leave. She could have talked to us in a completely different way and persuade us to stay, but she decided to lose two clients.

After leaving the cinema we stopped at this pizzeria for dinner, very good and well-seasoned pizzas, possibility of gluten-free and wholemeal dough! Excellent cutlet with chips, much appreciated by my daughter.. we sat in the outside courtyard given the beautiful evening and the perfect temperature, there is the internal room and also an external gazebo across the road

During our visit to Isola Bella we had lunch at Ristorante Elvezia. We ate a club sandwich and a (gluten-free) poke bowl, with some gluten-free bread beforehand. The food was tasty, but the service and atmosphere were significantly less so. The service was quick and very impatient. For a gluten-free dish you can go to Ristorante Elvezia, but the choice is very limited.

Choosing a place to eat is often an agony for me, I called this restaurant in my living room in Stresa to ask if they had options suitable for me. The chef prepared a delicious gourmet appetizer for me on the spot with seasonal vegetables. A mouth-watering pumpkin risotto and a meringue dessert that I loved. I felt super pampered, then Mannarino diffusing made everything more special. I highly recommend ✨️
