Have been here before and enjoyed the experience so thought we’d give it another go. Smashed Avocado Bagel (with Salmon as an add-on) was generous and the salmon portion very generous. Bagel was very tough to cut with a knife though but maybe being gluten free had something to do with that? Very tasty though. We also had the Poke Bowl which was underwhelming. Not the traditional bowl at all, as it was on a plate. No sign of coriander in the rice, no kewpie mayo, no crispy shallots and no sweet chilli (all were advertised on the menu). Pretty disappointing for $32.90 and our two meals and bottled juice made it an $80 lunch.

We had a wonderful experience here. The team was super helpful and warm, the food was wonderful and the service was absolutely amazing. Very cool, differentiated menu with options for vegan and gluten free. A big shout out to Sidhak and team for keeping the bar high and for your warmth and help :)

A beautiful, cozy cafe! We had breakfast in the café and absolutely loved it. There are many vegan and vegetarian options. I had the granola and can recommend it to everyone. The taste is simply indescribably delicious! Plus fresh vegan yogurt and almond milk. Also fruit paste and fresh fruit included. There are plant-based milk alternatives to choose from. The food was really nice and carefully prepared. Therefore it tastes and looks great! Since we were so excited, we took our lunch to go with us: the vegan panini and a “vegan and gluten free peanut chocolate bar/cake”. I still dream about both of them now because they were so delicious! The panini had a delicious vegetable patty. The chocolate cake/bar was so creamy and delicious! If I had the opportunity, I would definitely be a regular customer of the café! Therefore a recommendation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for this great breakfast experience!

Nice brunch spot. Staff member said big breakfast could be gluten free and then served it with hash browns that weren’t gluten free. Shouldn’t be hard to get gluten free hash browns or just not suggest that as a gluten free meal.

As I was well hungry, I was looking for a good pizza to take away. As earlier I had noticed another pizza place, I went back there, but once inside it didn't seem as good. I checked pizza places around, decided to check it out, and the warm welcome I got convinced me right away. Having a look at the menu confirmed that first excellent impression, with so much to choose from, plenty of pizzas. They also have quite many sides, salads too. And even desserts. They have vegan options, and clearly mark them, but also dairy free and gluten free ones. And a lot of dip options too (including fancy ones like cranberry) Even if I didn't eat there I also noticed that the place is cool too and another occasion I would totally eat there, lots of seats, and dim lights. I had a "serpent" pizza snack"  size, "lust deluxe" double size, and "crumbed camembert" as a side. I liked it all, and epecially the crumbed camembert with cranberry dip, my oh my, amazing! And the icing on the cake, staff is extra smiling & friendly Best pizza place in town, no doubt! Highly recommended!

Came on 18th November 2023 for a birthday celebration, excellent service from initial phone booking to everything on the night, food was fantastic highly recommend the platters but for me the Vegetarian Pizza was absolutely delicious we thoroughly enjoyed our night here and thought it was good value for money. Great selection for our gluten free members of the group too, Thanks Fainting Goat for a great night😊

Really lovely staff. I have specific diet restrictions and they kindly made me a toastie on gluten free bread. Most of my group got coffee and the big sausage roll. What a great deal. The sausage roll really is big!

Nice chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Option to sit inside or outside with heaters. We ordered Butter Chicken and the Eye fillet. Butter chicken was very good and the Blackened Garlic butter was an absolute star with the steak. Drink service was fast and easy using the tablet order system. Was able to accommodate for Gluten free as well

A perfect little cafe that we visited every morning for breakfast on our honeymoon. Catered to dairy, gluten free dietary requests. Lovely coffee and highly recommend the porridge, full breakfast and chicken for lunch. Very friendly service too and had my coffee made every morning before I even had to order!

best coffee i ever tasted, was presented on the 13th day of March 2022. On this day around lunch time, I free wheeled my analogue push boycycle ride en route to a grass edge, with this blossoming rose, omg its fragrance was the sweetest girl flower every, also i dismounted my steers man steed, cool and casual the writer as a saunterer ego z in to this AVC ( Arts Village Cafe) . Significantly Flâneuring if ykyk, no doubt, i ordered some black gold. sitting in the cafe it came pretty promptly, this is when the sheer surprises starting with my aotearoan coffee; - a (1st) for the morning g, well by gosh this ( Americana, u dig)- of course you do. Omg the way the woman made it, the temperature and flavors burst and quenched totally my thirst- bude- my dudes, true 💯 thirsty. I absolutely praise this AVC, fact be i drank a good cuppa yum tasting coffee as if it got sugar cane, milk - almond gluten -free , or whatever , IN HEAVEN, geez Girls it was soooo Good, and yet I love it Black. This was a high key cafe ( how you say coffee, yes) ok. Now, hey listen 🎶 ❤♥In between this and the next and another, i got into a scrumptious mt ngo stack 😋 👌 big ups, then a chicken dish, Thank you Terina 😋 Chelsea 💪Ann and yours truly. Stud. OMG what an amazing establishment. Honestly the best pizza I've ever had in the 85 countries I've visited. Love the thin crispy crust and the freshest ingredients. The staff are very friendly and polite. Btw, I had the Quattro Stagiori pizza and it was simply the best 👌. They also have vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Great place for a quick bite to eat or full feed. Very clean and waiters are very pleasant and curious. This time just went for a lge bowl of chips and wine as we know this place caters for persons with Coeliac.

I’ve been told about this place for a long time and finally came here. The food was so good. I have intolerances to soy, gluten - and they accommodated my order. And, even though these items are on the menu, I did not feel unwell, like at many other places. So I will be coming back here. Friendly and excellent food. This is the best treat I’ve ever had. It tastes like Christmas new years and Valentine’s Day all on one bite.

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The waiter was great in helping my wife with some changes to her meal as she is on a gluten free diet and has some other food intolerances. My steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.

Tonight table of 4. 1 gluten free. Which when asked the server what options, to his reply anything we can change the menu to suit. Food was beautiful. Personally I had the ostrich special..... divine! Fantastic service, time between courses was perfect, drinks were never empty. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Yummy fusion if Latin American cuisine, tasty food full of flavor, many Gluten-free options. Sangria with a tocuh of sherry was exceptional, so was the staff. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend trying their home made jalapeno sauces too. Thanks Sabroso!

Really lovely spot for dinner. I brought my family here last night - we have three vegetarians, a vegan AND someone with gluten allergy, and Lovely India catered to all of us beautifully. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, all the dishes were absolutely delicious and the prices were fantastic. 10/10 we will definitely be back

Coeliac's will be impressed!! They don't charge Coeliac's xtra $$$. What a great little cafe. Good prices and a relaxing atmosphere. Food is beautiful and most of all they cater for Coeliac's and menu has many option, Staff will discuss any concern you may have with the chief's and even allow you to read the food labels. They have a great understanding around Coeliac dietary requirements. Just let staff know.. Would like Zippy's to cook gluten free frys in their own oil to stop cross contamination. Will definitely be back.

Terrific venue for my 60th birthday celebration. The buffet was continuously refilled and food selection was perfect with just enough options to satisfy all tastes. Trail Kitchen even made up two seperate gluten free meal and dessert plates. A lovely setting looking out towards the wonderful Redwoods/Waipa Forest. Highly recommended and a very reasonable charge for the buffet.
