Wow, what a find! The food was incredible! So tasty. đ I had the bun Jovi burger wrap and was the best vegan & gluten free wrap Iâve ever had! (I choose from the vegan menu which was mostly gluten free and my partner had the chicken pesto wrap from the flexitarian menu)
Our waiter was lovely too. Highly recommended!
Enjoy stunning sea views with a delicious menu that offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian options to cater to all tastes.

I'm celiac, so I can't eat gluten at all. At the menu there are some dishes marked as gluten free, but always double check with the kitchen / waitress if it's 100% save. We went there two times and I always had the fish. It's delicious and I didn't had any problems. So totally recommend this place.

This was our favorite restaurant in all of Southern Africa! My husband and I ordered almost every entree on the vegan menu (11 dishes), including their 3 course set menu with 3 sides (we're foodies!). Every single one was delicious and made with fresh, healthy ingredients. My favorite was the Defin Misir Alicha - a brown lentil dish. I am going to try to find a recipe to make it back home in America! My husband raved about every dish that was seasoned with Berbere. He ordered a cocktail (the Spice Ethiopian Tosgne) which he still talks about because it was so good (and he's very picky about his cocktails, since he's an unofficial expert mixologist).
The service was exceptional. Our waiter (Linga?) was friendly and cheerful, prompt, personable, and respectful. The brief interactions we had with other waiters (and I think the owner) were all remarkably friendly. Our courses felt perfectly timed - neither rushed nor tardy. Our waiter even noticed that after the sun set, there were some mosquitoes near our outdoor table (we hadn't noticed) and was thoughtful enough to bring out some burning frankincense to repel them. It worked and smelled great!
Everything looked and felt clean. The tables, chairs, plates, and decor all crafted an atmosphere that felt authentic, pleasant, and not overdone.
They had so many options that we'd be comfortable bringing people there with all kinds of different needs - people who don't like spice or love spice, vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, dairy-free, whatever. It's very accommodating.
Experience exceptional flavors and a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more, all while enjoying great value for your money.

The food is some of the best I have ever
had. we shared 2 lots of tacos & each had the brisket that melted in your mouth. I truly haven't had food quite like it before. The price is extremely valuable for the quality & location. The staff were exceptional, very kind & very knowledgeable. My friend is
gluten-free and had plenty of great options available.

My first visit to this lovely little gem of a place. Large window view on Table Mountain! The atmosphere is cozy and low key. Loved the gluten-free options on the menu! Great coffee. We had the Turkish Eggs and Shashuka for brunch, both great options. Finished with some gluten-free sweets from the display - yum.. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Will be back!
A must-visit for health enthusiasts, with exciting selections perfect for post-hike treats or casual meals.

Stop most food and drink options at 3 pm and staff are generally unhelpful or unable to assist. The closing time of 430 pm is misleading as if you arrive at 4 pm most things are packed away. Prices are very high for what you get. During lunch it takes a long time to order and receive your food so if you have less than an hour it is better to go somewhere else.
Having said that they offer a large variety of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian foods especially many sweet options/smoothies which are difficult to find at other restaurants. They have convenient parking which is provided free for Nourished customers and is leased by the restaurant (although the attendant looks belligerent and tries to imply that he owns the lot and should be paid for time spent in the nourished parking.) I would prefer a car guard.
Cozy atmosphere with a nice terrace and a fantastic cocktail menu, perfect for a delicious pizza experience with vibrant flavors.

We were 4 diners. My daughter has Celiac disease so we specifically went to Mariaâs because they advertised gluten free food. The food was amazingly good! But the manager was rude and abrasive, very dismissive when we asked for assurance that the food was prepared separately. When we got our starters, her gluten free starter was placed next to pita bread that was NOT gluten free, thus contaminating her food. When we pointed this out to the manager, he simply shrugged and left. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. And also apologetic about another table that was very loud, causing us to not stay for dessert because the noise level was simply too high! The only down side about the food was the baklava fingers we ordered as take away. They were vile! Tasted only of cinnamon. Iâm Greek so I know how they should taste. Very disappointing dessert, donât order that!

Before I was diagnosed as a celiac I loved eating here. They have always had great quality, delicious food. I stopped for a few years because they didn't have good gluten free options. Today I had a toasted gluten-free sandwich and it was amazing. Really happy they have made such a big effort to cater to those of us with food allergies and intolerances. I'll definitely be back.
Tucked away yet easy to find, this spot offers a charming atmosphere and a delightful Italian vibe that's perfect for casual hangouts.

We came to them because it was written on the menu that there were gluten-free dishes.
When we arrived for breakfast they said that the gluten free dishes are pizza and pasta and they are not served because there is a breakfast menu.
We took an omelette that was really satisfying.
The coffee was good, the chocolate was not.. more delicious than chocolate.

The dinner was excellent! They were very considerate and served us very tasty dishes with our gluten-free and diabetics / low carb restrictions... so we came again the next day for another excellent dinner! Service from all levels is very good, attentive, and professional. Will definitely come again if in the area.

Had high expectations that sadly werenât met. The service really wasnât great (not listening when taking our order, forgetting what weâd ordered and coming back, missing bits of courses, dropping dirty cutlery (understandable) and then not cleaning up the mess after, not taking deposit off the bill etc). My husband is gluten free, and we totally understand itâs not as recognised in SA, but this was the worst example weâve had in the country.
Food was average, sadly nothing to get excited about - or enough to make up for the service!
An absolute gem known for its vibrant, flavorful wraps and indulgent desserts, perfect for a healthy meal.

This was our 4th experience here. We love the speakeasy, casual atmosphere in a beautifully decorated space. The food is also amazing, we often opt to share several Tapas style dishes which gives us a delightful dining experience. Personal favourites are the Pork Belly, Chicken Skewers & Paella. Their pizzas are great too and I love that they offer Gluten free bases. Overall a great experience with friendly and attentive staff. We drive from Mossel Bay to enjoy this restaurant.

We had lunch here on the recommendation of a local. Unfortunately, the audacity of others won out when it came to allocating tables, but in the end we also got a table with a great view. The gluten-free wrap with extra salmon tasted and looked excellent and was very filling. Nevertheless, a dessert couldn't be missing from the selection, which excited me even more. Ultimately, too much was deducted from the bill, but we didn't complain about this because of the good food.

Both service and food were amazing. Option of both fresh fish platter or sushi. If you opt for fresh fish, the waiter helps you choose and walks you through all the options step by step. Sushi is prepared in front of you and the chefs a great to engage with. The team also helped with allergies, making gluten free versions. Front of house manager was also extremely welcoming and friendly on arrival and throughout. Was our most expensive meal in South Africa, but well worth the money (and still far cheaper than the UK).

We were there with the family and felt very comfortable.
Although we had only reserved a table from 2 p.m., we were able to sit down from 1:30 p.m., which was arranged very professionally.
Our drinks were there afterwards and we could toast.
Unfortunately, the order was a bit long because there was a person with gluten intolerance with us and it wasn't entirely clear at first which dishes would be okay for you and which wouldn't.
This isn't a bad thing in the first place, but it can be improved in the future. It's also about suggestions for improvement đ
Finally, the food unfortunately only arrived after 50 minutes, but this was improved by the excellent quality and taste.
Overall, very, very tasty and a recommendation for anyone who comes by.
Best regards
Moritz

Lovely music playing, good selection of drinks, gluten free pasta and pizza bases available đ Lubis gave us incredible service throughout the time we were here, very welcoming and helpful with our dietary requirements. Definitely will come back and would definitely recommend to others.
Food very good, staff and manager very friendly and attentive. Food should be detailed on the menu to include, crumbed,or base of wheat/gluten to make better meal choices.
Never tried it before but was blown away by how tasty it was! Highly reccomend even if you're just stopping by for a takeaway snack they're so delicious!
They also cater for gluten free diets too!
