Well, this did not disappoint! Best Fish chips I have ever had and in huge portion sizes, all cooked to perfection!
The 2 young ladies serving were lovely and friendly but still professional and deserve credit.
The fish was beautiful crispy, the chips were flavoursome and non of it dripping in oil. They even offer gluten free! (I forgot to take pics)

Brilliant gluten free options! I have visited loads of lounges across the uk i can honestly say I have never had a bad meal, staff at chesterfield branch are brilliant would like to give a shout out to the red haired lady with pony tails who was our server... Very Very good at her job! ... always get good vibes when I go to a lounges.
Needs a refreshing update but offers decent choices and a cozy vibe, though it can feel chilly in some spots.

Doesn't really change from year to year and quite honestly, it needs a serious re vamp and refurbishment. Food is good enough but portions seem to have reduced eg when you used to get two toast with your breakfast you now only get one. Gluten free options are great as they are seriously lacking in other cafés in Chesterfield.
Staff can be a bit hit and miss, friendly and welcoming one day but a bit abrupt and off hand another so pick your day and staff member!
Could be a lovely little place if they spent a bit of money on it.

If you are visiting anywhere near Chesterfield (I would define near as within 100 miles) then I would make a detour to this place...it's absolutely superb. Tasty food. Lots of choice. Plenty of gluten free options. Kids menu. Dog friendly. We took a non vegan friend and she was well impressed too.
Food was very nice, plenty of gluten free options for starters and main courses. Not for dessert,s. Definitely will be going back very soon. Very relaxing place

My friends live in Chesterfield and so they brought me here for tea.
I went for the Cretan Voskopita (Green and Herbs Pie), some sort of stuffed bread drizzled with honey and Gluten Free Pita Bread. I didn’t make the best choices- there were more exciting things on the menu and my second and third dishes were very similar.
Service was friendly enough. I would like to go back and opt for something like octopus, though some of the items are dear!
A spacious spot with easy parking and a tech-savvy ordering system ensures a smooth dining experience for those with dietary needs.

My wife has a slight gluten intolerance and said so when the waitress asked about allergies. Stupid mistake. We then were barred from ordering on the app and the waitress wouldn’t relent when we insisted it was a mistake and we were hungry and please could we just order on the app, which would have been easier. All in all an evening nearly derailed by a weirdly dogmatic waitress.
Apart from that food was the same as usual.
Expect attentive service and personalized care for those with dietary concerns, making for a pleasant dining experience.

The service was amazing from leigh she really helped me regarding finding food to have which are gluten free. I think they should be a gluten menu it would help a lot
Easy parking plenty of choices in the freezers. I have limited shopping as I have coeliacs but there are a few things that are gluten free. It's a shame they don't have a free from freezer though.
Elegant, clean and well designed eatery under the personal supervision of the Owner.
Gluten and Dairy free make it suitable for Coeliacs. Steaks are consistently good quality. Traditional Sunday Lunch available plus a good range of alcoholic beverages.
Price range extremely reasonable for such good quality food and service.
Recently revamped, this spot offers a welcoming vibe and a great atmosphere, making it a must-visit in Chesterfield.

Our first visit to the Anchor we were well impressed with our phone and messages explaining that our daughter was autistic and had gluten and dairy allergies nothing was to much trouble to make our special visit relaxing.The staff were marvellous and the food was excellent we had two pie meals and the daughter had the sausage which were lovely I will be definitely be back when I’m in chesterfield again

Saw online that it was dog friendly, luckily it was a nice sunny day as dogs aren't allowed inside so we sat out front. Great coffee and a decent breakfast. Gluten free options on their menu too, shame I only got one slice of gluten free toast with my breakfast when the standard version comes with two
Food - I decided to try out the butternut squash base, after few bites it grew on me. Could be more thicker and softer, other than that it was great 🍕
Staff - all staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Arron [at 9pm on 12 March] informed me pizza was uncut because I was in a car, offered to cut and made me aware that slicer had been used on gluten based dough.
