My first visit to Zizzi Newcastle. Lovely food from a varied menu including Gluten Free options. Disappointing that although we were warmly greeted with menus of entering the restaurant we had to find our own table. Secondly, it would have been nice to have been asked if we enjoyed our meal at some stage during our visit. Clearly a need for more customer training in hospitality.
This spot impresses with a wide selection, tasty meals, and strong cocktails, plus a lively atmosphere that keeps the energy up!

What an amazing escape from the busy icky world! First of all as a celiac individual it's a nightmare to find places to get Gluten Free anything, but Gluten Free Pancakes!! 🥞 They tasted soooooo gooood too 🤤❤️ we visited for my finances birthday, and unprompted they brought her cake and sang to her! I've already organised two more trips for later to show my family and friends, fan for life 11/10

Great food although the allergy book was a little confusing for this coeliac. They did have gluten free options and the pizza was very tasty. I was part of a large party and the others enjoyed several cocktails on the 90 minute limit. The service was good and everyone was friendly.
Step into a cozy space where amazing aromas and stunning decor create an unforgettable vibe, all at a surprisingly affordable price.

Service and quality of the food was excellent, however the increase in price since my last visit was a shock. Other restaurants on Dean Street and Grey Street charge around £12 for pizzas, Prima is now £18... and £5 extra for gluten free option is disappointing. I'll be looking at alternative restaurants next time.
A vibrant spot with a welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying the sunshine and meeting fellow diners while indulging in a diverse menu.

WOW, the food was so good, we originally started out planning to have two courses but couldn’t resist a third. Their homemade gluten free bread was the best bread I’ve had since being diagnosed coeliac. The staff took my allergies extremely seriously and made us feel very welcome. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, it was mind blowing.

Lovely pizza restaurant. Plenty of gluten and dairy free options. Knowledgeable staff. Could of done with more staff on when we went as it took a while to get attention once our pizzas were finished and we wanted pudding. Lovely vibe to the place.

We had a lovely time at City Tavern. We had a yummy lunch, including gluten free beer on tap. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian food options available. The vibe inside was lovely and the staff were really really nice and very attentive!! There was free wifi, free charging ports and very comfy chairs.
An added bonus is that they show movies for free at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm everyday on their giant outdoor screen!! Such a great vibe, definitely recommend as a stop in during a day in Newcastle.
Vibrant atmosphere with quick service and unique drink specials; perfect for a lively night out with friends.

Up there with one of the best bottomless in Newcastle. Super fast service they take your next drink order as they bring you your drink. Food is lovely, just the right amount if you’re out for a drink. Really flavourful and something totally different. Good price for what you’re getting, think we had about 10-15 drinks so it’s well worth the price! Also, didn’t apply to us but I did notice they had brilliant dietary options for everyone (gluten free etc)
Amazing service from Ana she couldn’t do enough for us and was super quick, impressively so! Will be returning soon to try their main menu. Massively recommend!

Had a vegan strawberry ice cream that was also gluten free and made with Soy. It had a lovely flavour and creamy texture. It was nice to be offered a choice and catered to with allergies. Would definitely go again.
Chill vibes and unique decor create a fun atmosphere, but expect mixed service and a bit of a wait during busier times.

Loved it.
The restaurant us in quite an amazing space. No idea what the building used to be, but was and indeed still is very impressive. I'll be investigating the history of the building in due course.
The staff were great. Friendly, attentive but not overly so.
The food was delicious. The ability to choose between 3 types of pasta (4 if you include gluten free) was refreshing. The option of spaghetti only with certain dishes puts me off choosing them ordinarily. So Pasta Roma with penne it was.
2 pasta dishes, 250ml wine, 2 pints of Peroni, 1 cappuccino, 2 desserts a touch under £65.

Addicted to the Naked Deli! Delicious healthy gluten-free food! Particularly love the "healthy" chocolate bars - would go as far to say prefer them over old school chocolate bars!

We recently visited The Pitcher and Piano in Newcastle for a family celebration with a party of ten, one of whom has celiac disease. The venue, located right by the Quayside, boasts stunning views of the river and the Millennium Bridge.
The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, ensuring we all felt well cared for. They were also mindful of dietary requirements, offering suitable options for our guest with celiac disease.
The menu featured good pub food with a twist. Our group enjoyed a range of dishes, from classic burger and chips and fish and chips to more adventurous Asian-fusion cuisine like bang bang cauliflower and tacos. The food was delicious and catered to a variety of tastes.
We found the prices reasonable, providing good value for the quality of food and service. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again.

Booking a birthday meal for a carnivore (with an intolerance to various nuts,) and three vegetarians (one of whom can't have dairy, and one of whom can't have dairy, soy or gluten) felt like an impossible challenge - but the team at Peace & Loaf were brilliant!
The chefs adapted the long tasting menu for all of our requirements. The presentation was exquisite, and the dishes varied and beautifully cooked.
We were made so welcome, and had a really lovely evening. The staff were attentive, and talked us through each dish - happy to answer our questions about interesting herbs and flavours.
It was a expensive treat for us - but we felt it was excellent value for money, and well worth splashing out on, for a special occasion.
Enjoy a cozy vibe where special requests are met with care, making for a delightful experience that's hard to find elsewhere.

GLUTEN FREE REVIEW! Had a lovely gluten free Sunday lunch today. When we rang for the order, we were told I could be catered for with the exception of roasties and Yorkshire puds....that was fine. However, they called us back a few minutes later to say they would make separate gluten free roasties for me! This may seem like a small deal, but when you require gluten free (not a choice) it's hard to find places to eat, so the fact they did this went a long way for me! Thank you La Famiglia 😊

On our return journey home to St Helens we were looking for somewhere to stop and have breakfast that catered for my wife who is coeliac and needs gluten-free options.
Well this place is perfect, just 2 minutes off the A69, with parking at the rear or on the main road. It’s a quiet village so no problem parking. However you may need to book in advance as this place is popular, and no wonder.
What made our visit all the more pleasant was the people, not just the staff, also the locals, especially Gladys and Nellie, and they were just two dogs on the next table (adorable Cocker-poo’s) their owners were equally as nice and have to mention Billy another lovely local guy.
Anyway, we had two full breakfasts, my wife had gluten-free toast and sausage and have to say it was beautiful.
There was also a selection of gluten-free cakes available (if you just wanted a cake and a brew after a walk), we decided to take two slice of the gluten-free lemon drizzle cake home in a box, which I’ve just finished and was equally as tasty.
The perfect end to a great weekend (hello to the two lovely ladies we may see you camping one day) and thank you to all at the Hearth Cafe ❤️

Found this on the GFme app. Is only a couple of miles from my house but had no idea it was there. My son is a Coeliac and had NEVER had Chinese food (he's 18!) before so was quite a treat to see such an impressive selection of meals that were either GF of could be adapted to GF. We ordered a fair selection if food so he could try a few things and it was a big hit. So THANK YOU to the owners for making the effort and we will be sure to let as many people as possible on various gluten free platforms that you can offer this service.

Absolutely fantastic!
Really lovely friendly service from everyone.
Our waitress was Tatiana and she was wonderful, she went through the process of how the restaurant works and explained to my partner what they could have as they’re coeliac. Almost all the menu was GF so that was great!
The meat came out very quickly and was incredible quality. Everything was super tasty and the salad bar was a great addition. Lots to choose from! Didn’t get many photos as I was too busy eating!!
Enjoy a fantastic variety of dishes with generous portions and speedy service, perfect for a satisfying takeout experience.

I feel so lucky to have Wokify close to my home. A great range of tasty food and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile. I tend to come and get take out, my food is made quickly while I wait in the seating area.
I have Coeliac disease and I’m able to choose from a variety of dishes that can be made gluten free. I feel safe eating here with my dietary requirements.
Love it here. Delicious veggie food and I'm not a veggie! Also, for all you afflicted with gluten intolerance, they do lush cake... Almond, polenta and orange with a sugar glaze anyone? 😍
