For those who eat Halal/Pescatarian, make sure you: (1) get the gluten free batter as there is vodka in the normal batter, and (2) request for the fish and chips to be fried in vegetable oil, as the normal fish and chips are fried in beef drippings.
Yvette had excellent customer service. She explained everything very clearly and was very friendly.
Note, ‘Medium Cod’ is the smallest size, ‘Standard Cod’ is the next size, and ‘Jumbo Cod’ is the largest size. Also, if the weather is good, make sure to eat outside.

Very friendly staff, the views from the restaurant are amazing, and it is nice to sit outside and look at the beach. It's even nice to sit inside on a rainy day. The pizzas are always cooked very well and extremely delicious. I often order for collection and the pizzas have always been perfectly cooked. I gave 4 stars, only because on a few occasions when I’ve collected my pizza (at the allocated collection time), it has been slightly cold. Apart from this minor issue, I really like the pizzas and I would highly recommend the Gluten Free (GF) pizzas, as they are easy on the stomach. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves a great pizza.

We visited the lakeside cafe whilst on holiday , we were a table of 8. 4 adults , 2 toddlers , 2 newborns and we also had the dog. 1 member of our party has coeliac disease and the staff were amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable about cross contamination and what contains gluten. They were easily able to adjust things on the menu to suit. I would strongly recommend the goats cheese and root veg ciabatta it was to die for.

Great experience at Kook. Took the family for ice creams and milkshakes (so delicious!). But my mum has a lot of dietary restrictions and so usually can't join in with us having ice cream. The owner came out to us and let my mum know that she had both a dairy free ice cream and a gluten free waffle cone. My mum was over the moon. Wonderful service and delicious ice cream. A very disappointing experience. I booked a table for my wife and myself three weeks in advance. It was to be a special meal for my wife’s 70th Birthday. I asked for a table with a sea view by the window. We were really looking forward to a seafood platter as it is my wife’s favourite. A few days beforehand I popped in to the restaurant to make sure that the platter was gluten free as my wife is celiac. I was assured that this was no problem for the chef. On the day we arrived for the meal we were shown to a table on the second row back from the window even though there was a spare window table. Which was taken 30 minutes later by a single gentleman. Then to our great disappointment we were told that the seafood platter was not gluten free and the chef could do nothing to alter this. This suggests to me that the seafood is not fresh but frozen. We spoke to the Manager who apologised (for ruining my wife’s evening she had been looking forward to for several weeks) and said she would speak to the owner. If you are planning a special celebration meal I certainly would not recommend the Fish house restaurant.
