Sweet Melissa's is always an absolute delight. Staff is kind, patient and accommodating (Shout-out to Gianluca, Annie and Sydney!). As someone with Celiac's it's also really nice to have a bakery to go to that is so careful and considerate of a wide variety of dietary needs and restrictions. I've gotten several pastries and other items over the years since I discovered this gem in the heart of Middletown and I have never once had a cross-contamination reaction. My husband and I have occasionally stopped in to have dates here and I could easily spend the day writing here. There are games available for kids too, so it's really a family-friendly spot. Anyone who needs (or wants) a bakery absolutely can and should patronize Sweet Melissa's!

This was a wonderful dining experience. The owner is so kind. Lots of menu options and the menu was very vegan, gluten-free and dairy friendly. Just ask if you’d like something specific; they aim to please.
We will be back ! Actually have been several times! Extroidary options for frozen yogurt and the array of toppings r endless. Some toppings / candy ,i have not seen since i was a kid !♡♡ We feel like kids again when we come in.. kinda like willy wonkas twisted yogurt factory. :) !!! Also can get healthy options ,if like myself can't have gluten, sugar etc.. it's all DELICIOUS! My hubby is going to stock me up on the frozen pints for the month of February when your closed for deep cleaning! Otherwise I'm gonna go through withdrawal. Hehehe! IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED TWISTED , PUT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST! also extremely clean, super friendly small family owned business. EXCELLENT!

I dine in and get take out also delivery. I’m addicted to the chicken and waffles. My family comes to visit and it’s the top choice. My nieces and nephews love their breakfast croissant sandwich too. Pancakes are a hit. Thank you for offering gluten free so my family member with allergies can dine with us. Such a wonderful experience.
The service and food in this establishment was on point. Although there is a bit of lack for gluten free options the knowledge of the staff to avert any mishap with ordering was second to none and greatly appreciated by my wife who has celiac. The place was slow at the time we visited but i would be interested to visit under busy conditions to properly assess the capabilities of the place and staff. I am however quite positive they would shine given the quality experienced during lax conditions. Previous experience in a multitude of businesses has shown a distinct corelation of attitude to volume. Lax service- low volume of patrons. Not evident in this business. Thx to all for a pleasant visit. Keep up the good work. Some of us notice and commend those deserving of it. Sorry dont remember the servers name. Keep her. Fun Bar. The margarita pizza with gluten-free crust was delicious.
Bar tender Kylie is fantastic! She was very attentive and makes the most amazing orange crushes. Other customers at the bar were also commenting on Kylie's delicious orange crushes.
Good and friendly service, but ordered gluten free and was served on regular roll. Staff immediately made me a new sandwich, but others in my group had to wait for me. Unfortunately when I got home and tested with a Nima sensor, gluten was found. This is the second time I’ve had Jersey Mikes with a bad gluten experience. Would not recommend if you have Celiac disease or other serious gluten allergy

The food was good. We wanted to make sure we ate somewhere that the food didn't come in a wrapper as we were traveling home. Facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly. They were just off the highway, so it wasn't a long detour, and we got real food! It's worth the stop. Waitress was attentive to our food allergies, and they had good gluten-free options. Our price included three appetizers, a gluten-free pizza, and two adult entrees. Extremely reasonable for what we paid.

I tried the banana cheesecake caramel shake and omg 🤤🤤 there were so many flavors it was hard to just pick one to try. I didnt know this but your first shake is FREE!! The shakes are primarily used as a meal replacement and are all under 200cals, 17g of protein with no sugar, gluten free and nearly dairy free! (.05% dairy) Theres also a bunch of teas and coffees I cant wait to try 🤤 The owner is a sweetheart
This place has consistently good pizza! I love getting a broccoli, chicken, jalapeño pizza here. The also have gluten free option which is hard to find at many pizza joints.
If you have celiacs this is not a safe place to eat they do have gluten free pizza but their is a lot of cross contamination the pizza itself is very good but does cause a reaction unfortunately
