We were in town visiting and wanted brunch so we hit up Yelp and there popped up Berry Fresh Cafe!! Baby it did not disappoint. From the outside to the inside the decor was so freaking cuteeeeee!!! Plus it was as farm to table OMG!! I took my mom here because I liked the view,the atmosphere and I read that they have gluten free options. I love duck but it is not a common item on the menu so when I saw it I was really happy. Our waiter was the best of the best, he was so knowledgeable about food allergies and food generally. My mom had fish and I obviously got the duck. The good - my husband with no dietary restrictions enjoyed his meal.
The bad - I informed our server at the very beginning that I cannot have any gluten. I ordered a gluten free entree and the only gluten free dessert on the menu. It arrived with a gluten containing cocoa crisp stuck in the middle. I was told the kitchen is used to making them fast and probably just forgot. That is not acceptable, since a dessert labeled gluten free should never have gluten.

Also importantly for us my husband hasn't had any ill effects from dinner last night.

Went to District Table & Bar last night for the first time. Our friends had been there a few weeks back and enjoyed it so much they invited us to try it. It’s a very cool place with a nice vibe. Our server, George, was best in class. He took the time to explain the dishes to us and answered my questions about what I could order since I can’t eat gluten. He was knowledgeable about gluten and it turns out most the dishes can be made gluten free.
We had great cocktails and wine with dinner. We ordered the wahoo dip for an appetizer and it was the best I’ve ever had, and being a native Floridian I’ve had a lot.
Our entrees were:
1 Lobster in Japanese bread rolls that came with lobster bisque and home made chips
2. Steak and truffle fries
3. Sliced short ribs over rice topped with a scallion sauce and sesame seeds
4. I had two appetizers for my entrée - the deviled eggs and the roasted oysters. Amazing!
We all went home happy. Perfect from start to finish!

I have Celiac Disease and this location ALWAYS does it what it can to make sure there is the least bit of cross contamination from gluten possible. I tell them I have a gluten allergy so they can take proper precautions with cross contamination and each person washes their hands and puts on new gloves. They never give me a hard time about it or act like its an inconvenience. The only thing I wish that they would do is switch out the utensils in the containers since gluten contaminated gloves have touched the handles and get new cheese and lettuce since gloves with gluten on them have been inside of the containers. The place is always clean and food always tastes fresh. They are always friendly and give you a fair amount of food! I live near the other Chipotle in Stuart but always make the drive out of the way to this Chipotle because of the great customer service.
