A nice quaint place for a good meal. The turkey Manhattan was good, but could have used a small bit of salt for my taste.(I tend to like things a little salty) The bread and potatoes were a different take than I've had before and it was refreshing. I enjoyed the mash baked potato as it was cut up rather than fully mashed into what normally is on a Manhattan. The gravy was had a good consistency that stuck to bread without making it soggy. The bread itself had been toasted nicely as well.
The soup was nice and acidic with a rich taste without being over seasoned allowing one to enjoy the tomatoes and basile together.
The Latka were a little soft for me, but this didn't take away from their flavor.
Family owned and operated this restaurant's staff was polite and open for conversation about the food and even suggestions as to what to have.
I even noticed them making sure a customer knew which choices of food had gluten when ordering.
Discover a delightful bakery with an array of delicious treats that even non-celiac fans rave about—seriously, you won't taste the difference!

I can't believe I am actually eating a full sized piece of GF bread...tastes like REAL bread and smells so heavenly! It's the only gluten-free bread I don't have to put in the toaster to eat. The buttermilk coffee cake was fantastic as well! My only wish is that it was open at least 1 day a month on the weekend so I can get more.
Quick stop on our trip. Love the grilled chicken and gluten free bun options for hubby. Hate their politics. But sometimes you got no choice and you just gotta eat.

A hotspot with large portions loved by kids and adults alike, yet reservations are a miss; expect minor wait times, especially for bigger parties.

The white fish on a bed of rice with a side of broccoli and corn is to die for after a full morning! I eat dairy-free & gluten-free, not by choice and this meal will not disappoint! I was stuffed! My waitress was amazing - she knew EVERYTHING!
Unique crust options and unlimited toppings make this spot a must-visit, with delicious pizza that leaves everyone wanting more!

Our first time at a MOD pizza and we were very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, greeted us cheerfully when we walked in and talked us through our options.
The resulting pizzas were amazing!
Cauliflower crust or gluten free crust is an extra price but my hubby loved his cauliflower crust and the traditional crust was thin and almost cracker like. Delicious.
Unlimited toppings is never a bad idea!
Wish there was one nearer than than 2 hours from home!
Enjoy a lively atmosphere perfect for celebrations, with standout flavors and great service making it a solid choice for gatherings.

Came in on Father’s Day so there was a wait and we had a good sized crew with six adults, two children and a baby, and we were celebrating a birthday, oh and the two kids have gluten and dairy allergies. This seems the recipe for a perfect storm, but it wasn’t. Our server, Aubrey, was excellent. She did a fantastic job dealing with the allergies and getting everyone’s food out correctly as well as ice cream for the birthday celebrant. The food was excellent. They have the best spinach dip I’ve had in Terre Haute. The steaks were all flavorful and cooked to the correct temp and we had a well done one in with a batch of medium rare ones and that’s not always easy to pull off. Thanks, Aubrey, for making our outing a good one!
We would rate this place as a 3.75. It was a nice environment and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious🤤and not too pricey. The mei fun noodles are gluten free if that is important to you. We will definitely go back!
We went to this restaurant for the first time last summer and really like it! Ample parking, clean open dining room, clean bathrooms. Service is good. The food has been consistently good, hot and delicious. And then there is the lemonade and sweet tea: real sugar and very smooth drinks. Yum. They also have excellent gluten free choices for the allergic member of the family!
Fast service and the fun of self-serving ketchup in to-go containers make this a great stop for road trips.

Very good, with fast service. I love that you can pump your own ketchup in a to-go condiment container - Perfect when on the road.
Looking to cut back on gluten? The lettuce wraps are great (I get the cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap). The regular-size fries are plenty.

My husband and I stopped in to check this new restaurant out and will definitely be going back as often as possible!!!
We chose the buffet and loved all of the choices! I need to eat gluten free and was able to eat several items on the buffet.
It was so clean, servers were amazing and very attentive and the food was to die for!!!
5 stars from us for sure!!
A clean, family-owned market with fresh tropical fruits, a DIY orange juicer for amazing OJ, and a selection of plants for sale.

Clean, family owned market/grocery store. They have many organic, gluten-free, non GMO foods. Produce is wonderful and they usually have a few tropical type fruits as well. They also offer an orange juicer and you can make fresh OJ there on the spot, you pay for it, however, it's some of the best OJ EVER! Staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer a few hanging baskets and plants for sale.

This was my first time eating at this establishment and it was definitely impressive. Our server, Derek, was spectacular. He took extra time to go over the menu with us, so we knew exactly what to expect. I have a gluten Allergy and my son has a mushroom allergy, Derek took precautions to ensure that our food was safe for us! The food is great and the service was extraordinary!
Cool place. Amazing options and staff is great for understanding and working with dietary issues. My wife is gluten free and helped her find many options that could work for her. I was skeptical having another "health food" type of restaurant moving into the building after Aracari Kitchen left, but was happily surprised with this place. I think it will thrive even more once school is back in session. 10/10
Visiting from California and this is the most authentic Chinese food in town! Family run and super friendly. Best of all they can make most dishes gluten free.
Experience a warm atmosphere with personalized service that makes every visit feel special and welcoming.

I have ordered from Gingersnaps a few times on DoorDash but I went in person today and I had the best experience! The owner knew about my gluten/dairy allergy and was so accommodating! She brought me a gluten free roll to try and it was absolutely amazing. The service is amazing and so is the food. I will definitely keep going back!
2 months ago I would have given 5 stars. They are one of the few places I can eat because of my gluten allergy and they have a gluten free bun that is half way decent. But my last few visits have been awful. They've forgotten things on my order or my boyfriend's. And tonight my burger was beyond unreasonable and when I called to speak to a manager, I was placed on hold until I hung up.
First of all, the people that work here are very friendly and have excellent customer service. If you are looking for a cookie at 2 am you are probably not going to be very picky, however, these cookies are actually really delicious! There are vegan/gluten free options and all cookies are served warm, right from the oven. I highly recommend Insomnia Cookies for late night cookie cravings.
Their gluten free pasta is amazing and tasted like real pasta! The flour less Chocolate torte was also gluten free and very tasty. I highly recommend it with their fresh brewed, signature blend roast coffee. You won't be disappointed. If you're going to order gluten free pasta, let them know up front as they will start to heat up a fresh pot of water for your pasta.
Experience a chill vibe with a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a fun outing with friends or family.

What a gem!
Parked right next to The Verve on East Wabash, Scout’s brings the heat. Whether it’s delicious cheesy bread or goat cheese appetizers, salads or their signature stone-fired pizzas, you won’t be disappointed
Our party of five was greeted immediately by Jaiden, who promptly took our drink orders and answered a few questions about the menu. (And yes, they have a gluten-free crust option!)
The aforementioned goat cheese/marinara dip (holy delicious!) quickly arrived with some pita-style pizza crust chips and the cheese bread was a hit.
Scout’s is upfront about their preparation and cooking process, letting you know online and on their in-person menu that their made-from-scratch pizzas are cooked in a stone-fired oven and might take up to 30 minutes to arrive. We were pleasantly surprised when ours (four total pies) arrived in just under 20 minutes, but it didn’t take us long to realize that the pizza was so good we would have waited twice that long, and maybe even longer!
Ingredients ranging from hot honey to arugula to goat cheese to pepperoni were noticeably fresh and plentiful across each of our respective pizzas, and the pies themselves were cut cleanly and evenly. Simplistic but very, very satisfying.
All in all, five stars!
(Side note: I’m a veteran of more than a few kitchens and bars, and I haven’t seen efficiency like I saw at Scout’s in a long time. Jaiden handled the front of the house like a pro, topping off waters and teas and running appetizers, salads and pizzas to every corner of the restaurant, while Scout was all over the food prep and plating in the back (and being amazingly consistent with fantastic presentation, I might add.) I’ve seen kitchens staffed with ten times the people that don’t operate that smoothly. Kudos to the both of them!)
Food was really good and they're able to accommodate for vegans and vegetarians. I'm pretty sure they can also accommodate for gluten free people. Overall the food was amazing and the chips and salsa are the best I've ever had. If I'm gonna get Mexican food in Terre Haute its going to be from Taco and Tequila's
Gluten-free friendly (awesome)! Plus friendly and helpful staff. Tastey food, but giving 4 stars because its a little pricey and the menu board doesn't currently reflect the correct prices that ring up. Its a fun place to take kids though so they can see planes come in.
With an endless variety of delicious options and helpful suggestions, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge their sweet tooth!

Soooo many great choices! We have loved everything we have tried. The staff is extremely helpful and are great at providing suggestions. My favorite so far is Dr Pepper with marshmallow. The iced sugar cookie was really good, and my daughter appreciates the gluten free option of a yummy chocolate chip cookie. We look forward to trying something different next time!!
Zanda and Luis are extremely kind. If you are looking for optimal Mexican food, I highly recommend the El Camino Real. The tortillas are made with maiz - corn, so if you are gluten free you will be in heaven. The server's are attentive. I've been there several times and I have never had a bad experience. The service is prompt and the quality of food exceeds the value. If you are hungry this is the place to go. The decor is charming, quiet, and colorful. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic coffee, monthly changes to the menu add so much variety that isn’t offered manu other places. The staff has been quite helpful when I’m there. Also offer gluten free options when they can which helps those of us who need it.
Avoid if you have any dietary restrictions. In my group, we had a celiac who doesn't eat sushi, so her only meal option was a steak priced as if it were made of gold. The salad dressing contains peanut butter, which one of our party was allergic to.
