My Partner and I ordered online and upon arriving I was very impressed by the atmosphere in here. Lots of great places to sit and eat inside and outside. The aroma of food was amazing, it made my mouth water. The service was incredible, greeting every customer with a smile and took customer concerns very seriously. You can tell that the staff want the customers to have an authentic experience. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my partner got buffalo wings. Absolutely everything on the sandwich was fresh from the lettuce and tomato to the sauce. The wings here are like no other, they are practically boneless with a crispy exterior that makes them absolutely perfect. Strong hearts is also very inclusive of those with dietary restrictions, including a menu of gluten free and vegan options. Overall the entire experience here was amazing and I will definitely be a frequent customer
A lively spot with a great vibe, tasty dishes, and a solid wine list—perfect for a casual outing after a game.

While the food was good, the experience was less so. The menu has a large selection of everything you could hope for a good brunch, we opted for some lattes, mimosa flights, breakfast pizza, and shakshuka. The shakshuka was the star of the show, this was super flavourful and a nice change for a brunch option. There are gluten free options, and the server was helpful in directing me in the right direction for what I could eat, and what she would recommended. Apart from this, the service was a little shocking. Our drink orders were wrong, and one was forgotten. It took over an hour for the food to come out, and before it did, the staff were placing the chairs on top of the tables, even though it was at least 15 minutes to closing time. Because of this we felt incredibly rushed, and our food hadn’t even come yet. Workers at the restaurant then stood at the bar and watched us when the food did come out and we started to eat. We had to call for our silverware to start eating, and then had to find someone later to find the bread for the second dish we ordered. We felt rushed and unable to enjoy our meal with the restaurant essentially closing down around us while we tried to eat the meal we drove over an hour for.
Vibrant vibes with quirky decor, a killer happy hour, and a laid-back atmosphere make this spot a chill place to hang out and unwind.

Things to know:
Slaw = Raw Cabbage (for texture! No Mayo. This is a good thing).
Allergies = Super friendly. Clearly marked on all menu items; able to alter order for GF/DF for my wife who has Celiac.
Ambiance = bomb. Music was straight passion pit and phoenix. Bob’s burgers on the TV. Chattering teeth toys hanging from the ceiling. What more can you ask for?
Service = incredible. Andrea was knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and struck a great balance between making sure we had what we needed right away and leaving us be so we could enjoy our food. Her recommendations were spot on.
Prices/portions = also spot on.
Happy Hour = Half priced beer every day 4-7pm. It’s also not busy at all. Come here then.
Creole Fish & General Tso’s Shrimp Tacos = to die for. Literally. The shrimp taco was so spicy it almost killed me. I loved every minute of it.
Fly Bird = Nothing to write home about. This was my first visit and I hope I just caught them on a bad day, but I expected fresh tenders and these seemed like they were frozen/overly breaded. I’ll try again before I write it off wholesale. Redemption: the Fly Bird Custom Sauces were great and worth the extra $1.50. Try the Banana Pepper Honey Mustard. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy.
Handmade vibes and a cool selection of drinks await, plus delightful vegan options make it a perfect spot for diverse tastes.

Love this place! The food is so good. They have a great selection of drinks and food. I went with my family and most of us got burritos or tacos. I got the vegan burrito in a gluten-free wrap. Everyone enjoyed what they got. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the origin of the restaurant name (Alto Cinco means high five and it has to do with everything being hand made). Cute shops and other restaurants around here, too!
With a chill vibe and a creative menu featuring unique flavors, this spot is a must-try for those looking to explore delicious options.

The Build Your Own bowls are great. I would definitely order them again. Unfortunately, they forgot my added Fresh French Fries in my first takeout order from this restaurant. The food is great, I will give this restaurant another chance to do better.
On February 27th 2025 I went back and ordered The Big Cuse Smash Burger on a gluten free bun with fries. It was amazing. Definitely worth the money.
Delicious takeout with a unique range of tasty desserts and pizzas that’ll keep you coming back for more!

I was disappointed that dining in wasn’t an option BUT I was very happy with the food I took to go! As a celiac I haven’t had a calzone in ages. Its a rare food to find GF. I had the chicken, bacon, ranch & it was delicious! I also had the strawberry cake & the chocolate caramel cake, both yummy & moist (unlike many gf desserts). The attendee was super helpful & friendly. I’ll come back every time I visit Syracuse.
Stopped here on the way through Syracuse a few weeks ago. I got an iced oat milk latte and gluten free muffin - both which were tasty. My only complaint was the line was out the door and the organization of people was a bit chaotic. But it was also a holiday weekend right around when school resumed. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town.
how the mighty have fallen. first off the prices are insane. it was $13 for a personal gluten free pizza the size of a tea saucer. it was a Sunday when we went and it was a ghost town. the "unlimited" play card has a swipe timer on it so if you play a game that only takes a few seconds you still have to wait a while before you can start any other game, therefore it's not "unlimited," in fact its very limited. the staff were mostly friendly but acted like they would be happier literally any other place on the planet. when we got there they said chuck e would be out to dance with the kids in about 20 minutes. he didn't come out for well over an hour. the prizes at the ticket counter were mostly things I've seen in the toy section of the dollar tree but they cost 250 tickets. i won't be going back.
Great vibe and excellent offerings, just be ready for a wait since reservations aren't taken here.

Overall very good. I just wish they'd take reservations. The food was excellent with one minor suggestion; the sauce for 123 on the menu was tasteless. I do greatly appreciate their knowledge of gluten free cooking.
A cozy spot in Syracuse, known for its variety of sauces and perfectly cooked nuggets, with a knowledgeable staff ready to answer any queries.

Came here with my mom for lunch, I ordered the pesto vegan burger and she tried the Mac and cheese and nuggets. I was absolutely stuffed! Great little spot in Syracuse to stop and have a burger! The gluten free bun was great as well, doesn't break apart like most do. Will be back for a burger another day👍
Expect a vibrant experience with generous portions, quick service, and the option for personalized dishes to suit your needs.

Absolutely delicious! My husband had the pork and squid barbecue and I had the hibachi chicken. We ordered edamame and an Amsterdam sushi roll to hold us over until our entrees were ready, but the service was very fast and the portions were bigger than we expected!
And if you tell them what food allergies you have, they can modify many of their dishes for you. They brought me gluten free soy sauce too! What a great place to eat, we're definitely coming back during our next trip to Syracuse!
Known for delicious offerings and attentive service, this spot provides a reassuring experience for those with specific dietary preferences.

Fun little movie-themed diner with semi-cafeteria style service (order at counter, then your food comes later - "1/2 service" maybe?). They have a quinoa and kale hash that is pretty awesome. I appreciated the efficiency of the 1/2 service system, but all the disposables and lack of milk alternatives or decaf coffee left me bummed. I'd also like to have an option for extra hash/side instead of toast (gluten free sucks, sorry to everyone).
So much to love about this supermarket. Name the food or the product, and the choices are endless. Large kosher food section, international cuisine, gluten-free, etc...Expect up to HOUR WAIT at Customer Service during peak shopping times.
Best bakery I’ve ever been to. They have an amazing selection of juices, smoothies, vegan and Gluten Free breakfast options. It’s a family owned business and the pride in ownership is off the charts. The menu is superb with something for everyone in mind, and the coffee is wonderful as well. When you come to Rai’s you don’t want to leave as you feel like you are leaving family. Thank you Rai’s for being the highlight of my trip to Syracuse.

I had the lobster flight and they were delicious. My friend is gluten-free and had the flights also. Instead of the delicious hawaiian rolls, they gave her some coleslaw and a little salad. We ate at the tables outside. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
I love the Syracuse Real Food Co-op, unfortunately I don’t live close enough to make it my main place to shop. However when we fly out of Syracuse airport we pop in real quick to grab a nice organic delicious Ethiopian drip coffee or a quick healthy bite to take with us on the plane. They have lots of options to-go to choose from. Vegan or not gluten free etc. I love this adorable cute lil co-op and always find joy in visiting and supporting them!! Co-ops are a lifesaver!
