Love Fireflour. Tonight was my first visit since having to go gluten free. My first couple trips when I was still eating gluten were great, so I had high hopes for their gluten free crust.
I’ll start by saying that finding a place that makes Neapolitan pizza and offers a gluten free crust is rare for Fireflour to offer a 12 inch is awesome. The crust has that Smokey char and thin texture, it’s awesome. The sauce and cheese are both a knockout. Even a basic like a Daisy is full of flavor. Got some tasty gelato on the way out.
The restaurant itself does an awesome job of walking the thin line between hipster / pretentious and just a nice dine out spot. The staff were all attentive and awesome. Speed of service was very fast.
Fireflour is an awesome spot for some yummy quick fancy pizza pies.

I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but the experience I had here was incredibly disappointing, and honestly, upsetting. As a military family, we’re used to businesses recognizing military dependent IDs, especially on a day like the 4th of July when we’re supposed to be celebrating the people and families who serve this country. Unfortunately, this business refused to accept a valid military dependent ID, which felt not only dismissive but downright unpatriotic given the occasion.
To make matters worse, when I asked about a gluten-free option or accommodation for celiac disease, which, for the record, is a federally recognized disability under the ADA, I was brushed off. Not only did they refuse a military discount for it, but their overall attitude made it clear that medical dietary needs weren’t a priority here. This is ableist and completely unacceptable.
In a time when inclusivity, accessibility, and respect for military families should be the standard, this place failed on all counts. I hope they seriously reevaluate their policies and attitudes moving forward. No one should have to feel excluded because of their health or the way they serve this country, especially on Independence Day!

Wow this place blew me away! There are SO MANY unique options on the menu. Gluten free options or for instance… cauliflower crust for the pizza. I loved the bruschetta pesto pasta and we got one of the white pizzas with rotisserie chicken and ham on it. Amazing! Not to mention the cozy vibes and friendly atmosphere is great! We really enjoyed the restaurant until very recent. The atmosphere is esthetically pleasing, the food usually really good. However the service is not always on point and I have to say the new menu look and how the tables are set up is frustrating. The menu is a large two sided card stock that is cumbersome to read over when sitting right next to another member of our party. You feel.like your going to bump them with the menu. Secondly, if you require gluten free or vegan you must let the host who seats you know because that is on a separate smaller menu now. Lastly but the most frustrating part is that they place the cutlery directly on the table with an appetizer plate in the center holding your napkin. Then they place the menu that contain greasy finger marks and food stains directly on top of your napkin. Mind you the menu is so large that it also sits on top of the cutlery you will use to eat your meal. Beyond gross. The waitress we had simply responded that they "try" to clean the menus. I showed the waitress the evidence and responded this is disgusting.
It's the height of influenza and norovirus season. When did it become OK to drop basic hygiene precautions in a restaurant?
