This place is such a gem! They have the best gluten-free and vegan food! They also have a separate fryer for their fries, which is great because my wife has Celiac disease. You would also never even know their food is vegan. It’s just great food overall. The nachos, tofu scramble, pancakes, fries, and La Mesa are some of our favorite dishes here.

We've been going here for a while now. My husband happens to know the owners and their staff is super nice every time we go in. I love how authentic their Pakistani food is and the spice level is insane! Our favorites to get is the curry chicken, any of their veggies and of course, the samosas. Thank you for staying throughout the years and sticking around through the pandemic. I wish them nothing but continued success. If you are visiting Utah and want to try something different and you are in a "hurry" this place is for you! PS: all of their curry is gluten free.

I initially chose this place because it is wheelchair accessible. It did not disappoint. It is a lovely and spacious cafe. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Coffee is great! I wish they had a slightly larger baked good selection but they did have a gluten free and vegan option. And what we had was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

My husband ordered the Hot Chopped Cheese Sandwich and LOVED it. Left no crumbs, no notes. ❤️ I ordered the Kimchi Grilled Cheese with Gluten free bread. It was actually pretty good, the Kimchi on grilled cheese is a nice idea. My only issue is that the cheese tasted like Kraft Single American Cheese which has a very weird taste to it. Would be a 10/10 with a better cheese.

Fantastic meal on our first visit to the new location. The flavors were superb and I personally appreciate that many dishes are gluten-free. The portions are on the smaller side, which is fine but just an FYI as to what to expect. It wouldn’t be difficult for most people to enjoy an app, entree and dessert. My only criticism is the very bright lights. It would feel so much more romantic and upscale if the lights were dimmer and perhaps candles on the tables? The food is on par with some of the best fancy vegan restaurants I’ve been to and would love the atmosphere to match :)

You can tell that the owner really put his heart into everything there. The staff - all so friendly and attentive. 5 out of 5 stars for sure. Highly recommend.

Skillets is the best!! The biggest portions ever! I eat gluten free (I have celiac disease) and their bread is phenomenal. It’s so difficult to find places that offer breakfast sandwiches on gluten free. We have been here twice now and their food is consistently delicious! My personal favorite is the pastrami with tots as a side and my fiancé loves their breakfast burrito. Each dish is full of flavor - their sauces are too good. Will has helped us each time, he is incredibly kind and always has a smile on his face. 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone! :)

TLDR: The best (and only) authentic Thai food in the valley. Food is authentically spicy on a 0-5 scale. I recommend ordering 0 for mild, 1 for medium, 2 or 3 for hot. I have spent a lot of time abroad setting up and running healthcare clinics in remote areas of the world. One such place was in the mountains of northern Thailand. I've been chasing (and failing) to find those flavors in the valley for over a decade. Thai in the valley come up short. Pad Thai that tastes like ketchup?! I mean what is that about?! Well... NOT SO AT ARANYA! This place is AUTHENTIC Thai food, a first for SLC. I literally drive past several other Thai places to get the food from here. Service is friendly and responsive. The ambiance feels like I'm back in Chiang Mai with the red seats and modest decor. Other SLC Thai places, take note. Oh, and we have severe gluten allergies that were no problem for them to accommodate. Tip: Unsurprisingly, they spice their food *authentically* HOT on a 0-5 scale. I recommend the following spice #'s: 0 for mild, 1 for medium, 2/3 for hot. 4 and 5 should be reserved for people with something to prove. You can also get the spice on the side and spice your dishes yourself.

Delicious plant based menu. Smaller portions of food and kind of pricey, but super worth it for the flavor, quality, and atmosphere. Pianist on most nights and jazz trio Fridays and Saturdays starting at 7pm. Amazing live music!!! Every day from noon to 3:30 they have tea time, it’s very boujee and delicious. Every participant gets their choice of tea from the menu, chantillies, scones, and then a big tier of yummy finger foods. A harpist usually plays and it’s gorgeous! You are also able to order champagne or a plate of imported cheeses, yum. They also have vegan and gluten free options during tea. My favorite dish during dinner is the cauliflower wings, oh my gooooooodddd they’re so good. The calamari is also great, and they have the best impossible chicken and beef I’ve ever had.

We hired Blacks Sliders to cater a company picnic for our employees in Liberty Park and it was a hit. People loved the food (including having vegetarian and gluten free options), the service was fast and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. And it was easy to arrange it all in advance. If you are looking for an outdoor catering option everyone will love - this is a great option.

Pretty good atmosphere, service staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was good. No gluten free options or lettuce wrap, but you can ask for no bun and they’ll put whatever burger you got on top of your side. I highly recommend making a reservation or you’re at risk of not getting a table. Also, plan on parking further away as this location only has about ten or so parking spots.

We hosted a (very non-traditional! 🤠) baby shower on part of the patio on Sunday afternoon. The entire team was incredibly helpful in making this a wonderful event for our parents-to-be and about 20 friends. Our guests raved about the tasty pizza and beer, and we loved that there were vegan/gluten-free options, and even NA beer on tap! Our main server, Pip, was incredibly helpful and patient! And Valerie was fantastic helping us arrange the event and had great advice on setup etc. Amazing service and experience and we'll definitely be back.

The sad part was no sourdough products that day . My gluten free wife can eat the sourdough dough. No other gf. We were visiting from out of town. Will go back next time in SLC.
