Good food. Decent American variety. I've been here twice, and the service has been good. They try to work with gluten sensitive people, but both times, my family member either had to err on the side of caution due to the server being unsure of the cooking process or the meal came out contaminated and had to be recooked. They obliged, but my family member had to be super vigilant because the restaurant was not. Other than this hiccup, the experience was pleasant.
Perfect for a fun hangout with friends, this spot has a welcoming vibe and an impressive variety to please everyone's tastes.

What a great place to go to hang out with friends over a meal! Food selection and taste, even for us Celiac's, is great! Atmosphere is very welcoming and fun. Servers are very knowledgeable about their offerings and work efficiently and quickly.
I order a sandwich from DoorDash and I clicked a gluten free bread. When my dasher came here and I check the bread it wasn’t a gluten free bread. I clicked gluten free bread and they didn’t look closely. I’m done with doordash! Ordering it inside is better than delivery because they will mess up your order.
They got our order wrong and are the only Chick-fil-A we've ever been to that said their fries are no gluten free. They are advertised as gluten free countrywide.
We love Mama's! Their gluten free pizza is so good! The best I've tasted, and I've tasted quite a few. The rest of the family eats the regular pizza and they love it. Great place.
A fun market perfect for families, featuring delightful ice cream options in generous portions and a super welcoming vibe.

Yummy market that is gluten friendly! My kids were so thrilled to stop here and enjoy the ice cream. The ladies that work at the ice cream shop are so friendly. They changed scoops and even opened a new ice cream container for my daughters that have Celiac Disease. The ice cream is also very reasonably priced with huge portions!!
Nice little local spot foor good home cooking. Not A dream for GF Celiac, but for moderate sensitivity... the gals found me some great options and i did not get sick...2 grilled pork chops, green beans, mashed potato and... best of all... POTATO SALAD... made in heaven!! With a coke that comes with one free refill...stuffed at $14.50.

Countless acres of land for people of all ages to run around to their hearts content, a huge selection of local wine, beer, and mead (lots of gluten free options!!!). Can not wait to go again and spend more time there! WONDERFUL owners and wonder cite!!!!
We wanted to find a place halfway between Stafford and Charlottesville that could manage both gluten free and vegan/vegetarian guests, and The Sangria Bowl surpassed our expectations on all fronts!!! Delicious food, fantastic drinks, lovely outdoor patio, wonderful company.

i ordered gluten free cupcakes for a friend’s birthday and they were great! Monique took my allergy request seriously and made me feel comfortable giving them to my gluten free friend. i highly recommend sweets by Monique and will be ordering again!!
Great atmosphere and delicious food. You cannot go with with anything on the menu. I was regent diagnosed with celiac disease and the staff was very knowledgeable to help me understand what they could make that was gluten free! We greatly appreciate it!!!

Where do I start?! Beginning to end all around a great experience! As soon as I walked through the door I was welcomed with a warm greeting and friendly faces all around. Jeffery and his staff are wonderful people and helped this previous cheese lover who was forced to go dairy free, find all kinds of goodies and even a sandwich to boot! He has some of the most delicious gluten free bread, and made me a killer Italian Sammy that left me wanting to come back for more! If you’re looking for delectable meats and cheeses, unique treasures and an all around feel good experience make sure you stop by Culpeper Cheese Co. You won’t be disappointed!
A downtown hotspot with well-cooked scallops and a creative cocktail menu, but don't expect a quiet meal or great acoustics.

Finally tried this downtown favorite tonight. Verdict: The food is good, but very overpriced for what it is. I ordered the scallops with risotto and prosciutto ($34) and was brought a plate with a huge mound of risotto, four medium sized scallops, and a few flakes of what looked like bacon bits (but tasted like nothing). GOOD: The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious! NOT SO GOOD: The risotto and its sauce tasted like they came from a box and, as mentioned, the prosciutto might as well have not been there. My (way less of a foodie) spouse got the chicken Arianna and enjoyed it, but I couldn’t try it because it isn’t gluten free. He described it as tasting like “a really good really deep dish chicken pizza,” which I’m not sure they were going for, but he loved it and basically licked his plate clean. 🤷🏼♀️😂
Other pros: The wine list is surprisingly small but very well curated, the cocktail menu is large and creative (and the cocktail we ordered tasted awesome), and the service was very good. They have gluten free options for dining, and they are marked on the menu.
Other cons: Even at half capacity, it’s LOUD. Not sure if this is down to the clientele or the acoustics? There is a TV on the wall of the bar area, which I hate in general, but worse yet, it has a really bad connection to whatever the feed is, so it’s usually frozen with someone’s face in a really awkward expression. 😂
Overall, I gave this 4 stars, but on a 10 star scale it would be more like 7-8.
