This place was fantastic! I went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and loved it. There was plenty of space in the restaurant at this time (but it can get busy) and the service was great. I’m gluten free, so I ordered the blueberry crepe gluten free, and the staff knew what I was talking about and were ready to accommodate. The crumble is not gluten free, and the staff were quick to let me know and suggested an alternative (substitute the crumble for Graham crackers) which was really kind of them not something that I have seen before (though I don’t go out to eat much and am newer at being gluten free). The crepe was also fantastic! The only other thing you should know about them is that the portion sizes are quite large. Overall AB Crepes is 10/10 5 stars!
A lively spot with unique decor, excellent tacos, and a killer atmosphere that welcomes everyone to enjoy flavorful options in Bellingham.

As a celiac this is the place to go. I had a severe nearly super man dive over the counter and snatch a chip from me when an order got switched and there was even the chance I could have been cross contaminated.
The staff is wonderful and always on point.
The food is fantastic - get the GF breaded fish tacos.. I am telling you they are excellent.
The drinks are mixed with care and a bit of sass.
One of my favorite places in town.
Chill vibe with comforting soups and tasty wraps make this spot a local favorite for a satisfying meal, perfect for any diet!

Fantastic, fresh homestyle food in a family style setting. Small menu, no pretense, counter service, excellent cooking. Everything was great and the gluten free injera (kinda a sourdough flatbread) is worth mentioning for wheat free folks. I don’t write reviews often but this is my favorite newish spot in Bellingham in many years.

Waffle Wonderland at Sweet As Waffles!
If Willy Wonka ran a waffle shop, it would definitely be Sweet As Waffles. This place is a sugar-sprinkled dreamland where every waffle comes with a surprise — not just in flavor, but also a tiny toy dino tucked inside like a prehistoric prize. Yes, you read that right: waffles + dinosaurs = instant serotonin.
Their menu? Pure brilliance. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet classic dripping in strawberries and whipped cream, or a savory stunner stacked with cheese, eggs, and bacon, they’ve got your cravings covered. Bonus: they even cater to our gluten-free friends with crispy, golden GF waffles that are just as magical.
A waffle shop that serves delicious food and gives you a toy with your meal? Sweet As Waffles isn’t just a treat — it’s a whole experience. 10/10 would eat again (and adopt another waffle dino).
This bakery stands out for its creative flavor combinations and exceptional service, making it a go-to spot for quality treats and custom specials.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And I'm hard to please! 😄
I'm from Vancouver, Canada, and recently helped a friend with her wedding in Bellingham. Not knowing any local stores, I took a chance on 'It's the Sweet Things' and ordered 72 assorted cupcakes online, including vegan and gluten-free options. They were incredibly professional, punctual, and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious—fresh with unique flavour combinations. I highly recommend this place if you're seeking top-quality treats!
My friend and I ate lunch here on July 8. We only saw one person working the front counter and she was not very friendly. When I asked if I could have whole wheat for my pita bread choice, she acted frustrated with me and said, “I have the mixed kind…whole wheat and plain, is that okay?” I said it wasn’t because I had some gluten issues. I shouldn’t have to explain myself to a restaurant worker. I then asked if I could have gluten free. She said, “Yes.” I have issues also with dairy. True story. So I asked for, “No cheese.” She asked me a personal question, “Are you lactose intolerant? What symptoms do you have?” I said it gave me headaches.” She said, “Interesting.” That was not her business to pry like that. This young person needs to learn some simple manners in how to relate to people, especially an older person like me.
Also, the food turned out to be pretty bad. I got the BLT pita and the whole thing tasted “off”. Poor flavor and the bacon was over cooked.
The whole restaurant was dirty…tables were not wiped down. My friend and I found old, dried food on our table. The floor needed sweeping and mopping. It just appeared like no one cared.
Once I got home I washed my hands and arms really well with hot soap and water because who knows what kind of germs I could have picked up there.
There was a customer who came in and waited to be helped. She asked my friend and me, “Is anyone working here?” I told her there was a young woman who had waited on us and it appeared she was in the back of the restaurant somewhere. I suggested to the waiting customer to “phone” the restaurant to grab the woman’s attention. The customer waited for maybe 10 minutes, even rattled her keys to make noise. No one came out to help her. She finally walked out pretty disgusted. Way to go, Pita Pit. You lost a customer and a sale.
I know for sure I’ll never come back here to eat. I felt unsafe, the place was unclean and dirty, and the employee was rude and didn’t seem to care about the customers. Not good at all.
I don’t usually post bad reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable and so bad, I had to say something just for the sake of the greater good.

Been a very long time, however the eggs Benedict were always the best! Service exceptional. Can get espresso, lattes etc as they are cooperative with a coffee shop. Never had a bad breakfast. We are gluten free, celiacs. They are very accommodating.

This has become our favorite restaurant! As locals we are so glad we can make it a regular spot. If you are on the fence about going, don’t be. Just go and enjoy!
The food is consistently great, drinks are fabulous, and the staff is amazing!
As gluten free and low carb people we have found good options here. Plus our kids actually enjoy their tacos and horchata.
It isn’t just the consistently good food that keeps us coming back but also the staff. We go at least once a month and have met many of their staff who are wonderful! As a parent, a place that is not just kind to us but thoughtful about our kids is amazing.
Seriously, just go! Have a drink, get some fabulous food, and enjoy your meal.
Experience authentic flavors in a clean, inviting space where unique spices elevate every dish to a whole new level.

We had the gluten free & dairy free chettinad and it was SO good. With the samosas and naan, one entree was plenty to split between two people for lunch. Vishal provided wonderful service and shared about the spices that make the dish so tasty.

Went here for the first time and the food was fabulous, not sure if it’s close to what Cajun food is actually like but it was so flavorful and delicious! Well seasoned! Our waitress was amazing and constantly checked on us! I got the fried green tomatoes and the pork chops and it was all so delicious. My pork chop wasn’t dry at all. Brussels sprouts were beautifully seasoned! They are on the spending side but I don’t mind was worth it. I highly recommend this place! Well decorated place, lighting fits the atmosphere really well! They did have gluten free options as well!

I often am searching for new places to try. I am gluten free and I am always in search of food that I don't make well at home. Most places offer the same thing, but this place has dishes that are very simply to turn gluten free, where most restaurants just don't. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were hand crafted. Nice atmophere, with a view of their distillery. We will definatley be going back.
Very reasonably priced.

Definitely worth going here! Staff was extra helpful and friendly, atmosphere was very cool. Food was yummy. Would recommend the blueberry lemonade. They make it with fresh lemons and blueberries. It is sour but you can ask them to make it sweet, if you prefer sweet. Gluten free options are a plenty. Some outdoor seating, but mostly indoor.
Great breakfast. Carl was our server and was very pleasant to interact with. All staff were great and gave us the feeling that they really cared about serving us food that we would enjoy. Catered to out need for gluten free and dairy free. Looking forward to our next visit.
I use them for delivery and the drivers are always courteous, personable and helpful. And the food is always hot!
I normally get their garlic cheese bread and a Za. The sauce they use is very tasty and they offer a HUGE selection of toppings for their Za's. On top of it they have a great selection of cheeses and a gluten free crust.
I have tried their vegetable only pizza and their taco pizza's; both of which I enjoyed.
I have also had their salads and their turnovers. The onion is always a little strong for me in the salads but if you like onions, you will enjoy the salad. And their balsamic dressing is full of flavor.
Perfect spot for a special dinner, offering tasty options and exceptional service that keeps everyone coming back for more.

came for Valentine’s day dinner, SO good and such good service! Kyle our waiter was so friendly, helpful and overall just such a good waiter! Definitely coming back and SUCH great gluten free options, gf gyros and so much more!
Best Chinese food ever. Try everything. I have been looking for the best hot and sour soup, and it is here. One of my friends has a rather extensive repitoire of allergies and she can eat here, they have a gluten free menu on request. Spicy, seafood, vegetarian, bed, chicken is all awesome. The hostess is really cool, she is friendly when there is time but she seems to be the only server so when it is busy she takes care of everyone. My favorite restaurant in Bellingham.

Caffe Adagio is my absolute favorite coffee shop in Bellingham!
The folks who work there are so friendly and fun to chat with, seeing them brightens up my day :-)
Their soups are truly some of the best I’ve ever had and are made with fresh ingredients from their family farm. The garden breakfast sandwich is also incredible! They have some gluten free pastry options, too.
Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of seating if you get there before or after the rush. It’s a great place to get work done, meet with friends, or just go on your own :-)
With fantastic eats, great drinks, and a fun vibe, this spot is perfect for a lively outing with friends.

I ordered four hard tacos and a street taco, all with shredded beef. I also got a happy hour margarita. The food was fantastic, the drink was good, the service was great and it was a fun place to hang out.
If you're in Bellingham and want good Mexican food, drinks and fun, this is the place to be!
The prices were reasonable, ($3 street tacos, $4 regular tacos, $4 Margaritas, ) and it was all fantastic. They even substituted corn tortillas for my gluten-free companion's quesadilla.
This is your place.
Additional: on my third visit, three weeks later, they took fantastic care of me, and replicated my companion's order from memory, which included the addition of cilantro, which I'd forgotten. This is definitely a place to visit.
