Strategic place on the Genoa pier, very good but quite expensive pizza. Especially the gluten-free menu (1/3 of the menu for everyone) is scarce and very expensive... but as usual celiacs always pay more in money and taste of food.
It would be nice to have the exact same menu also available in the gluten-free version given the price paid.
Set in the heart of the Old Port, this lively spot boasts an artistic menu, quality ingredients, and great value, making it a must-try for everyone.

Excellent restaurant, near the old port, with traditional dishes and more. Many gluten-free options (and I'm not talking about the usual salad or steak, which are already gluten-free, I'm talking about pizzas, traditional first courses including trofie with pesto, or casonsei with walnut sauce, pizzas, second courses and desserts). I highly recommend the trofie with octopus and taggiasca olives, which I really liked.
Enjoy a delightful ice cream experience with a wide variety of flavors and generous portions in a totally gluten-free environment.

The ice cream in this shop is labeled as containing no gluten coloring or artificial flavors. There are many styles to choose from. They are smooth and delicious, but the price is a bit expensive.
A hidden gem with a fantastic vibe, great variety, and quality dishes that won’t break the bank—definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
A historic pastry shop known for its innovative treats, soft textures, and delightful desserts that impress both gluten-free fans and others alike.

Historic pastry shop, the pastry chef is always experimenting with new recipes and is always happy to please his customers. I've been going to the pastry shop for about seven years, ever since I was diagnosed with celiac disease, because the gluten-free desserts are really good. I love pastry chef Roberto's desserts and even my partner who is not celiac eats them with pleasure.
