I used to love Billie’s back when I was only trying to avoid gluten, their desserts and baked goods are pretty good for being gluten free (even tho a bit spendy) but since being dairy free (due to allergies) Woah #GROSS!! If you are only trying to avoid gluten then the sweets aren’t too bad (but use caution as they still use powdered sugar, cream cheese, and a lot of fatty high calorie ingredients so not good if you’re trying to be health conscious) but if you have to be plant based their options are limited and seriously so disgusting I still can’t get the taste out of my mouth. Just because it is dairy free doesn’t mean it can’t be sweet and taste good, trust me, I’ve had many dairy free/vegan desserts that are SO good I had to call the place and double check because I couldn’t believe it. I ordered the plant based cookie dough bar, snickers bar and chocolate chip cookie. Both bars were dull In flavor, not sweet at all, and TOO many nuts like wow take it easy on the nuts and dates. The cookie was dry and chalky almost choked on it. I’m disappointed because options for dairy free are always limited and Billie’s has so much potential, your entire target market/demographic is very fond of eating with food allergies obviously or we’d be going to a million different places #crumbl!! But save your money and your appetite and DO NOT buy their plant based items!!!! Just make your own at home and they’ll be a million times better I guarantee it.

My friend and I loved this place. I got a cookie and she got the cinnamon roll! You would never know it is gluten free strictly with a taste test. Staff are so nice and accommodating as well! I am recently gluten free and it is so nice to be able to be able to go somewhere where I could eat everything! I was feeling so discouraged being gluten free.

My husband and I are club members (for about 6 months) and have dined here once prior today. Both experiences were great, but today was exceptional!! Our waitress, Jaden Rain, was very helpful and just the right amount of attentive. She gave helpful insight to the menu and even offered me gluten free bread before the meal (I had no clue that was even an option). Our meals were delivered quickly, were generous portions, reasonably priced, and were incredibly delicious. I was blown away by the gluten free pre-meal bread. It was warm, soft, sweet, and so tasty. The other two non-GF people eating with me agreed that it was very tasty. The GF menu was extensive, including 5 dessert options. Additionally, we feel like the wine club membership is really worth all the perks that come with it, even coming from people who don't maximize the benefits each month. Will absolutely be back and we are grateful for the amazing service we received from Jaden today! And 10/10 for gluten friendly options! (Photos include my gluten free meal - pre-meal GF bread and GF Thai wraps (after I'd devoured them, haha!))

I enjoy this restaurant every time I visit KC. The decor is inviting, cheerful and natural. The restaurant is very clean and crisp. I especially appreciate the many live plants. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. They pay special attention to allergies and take them seriously. I ordered takeout tonight and Grace was very attentive to my meal as it was being made. As a note, they have gluten free buns, but they do contain milk (the staff did a great job of telling me). I made the choice to try the buns and can attest that there is a significant enough amount of diary to cause a reaction. They have plenty of options if you have food allergies. Also, they use avocado oil and olive oil to cook.

Stopped here for my lunch break. Not only is this location super cute but also has fast and friendly service. Drive thru was busy but the inside was cozy, bright and pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Perfect spot to read and enjoy some lunch! Plenty of healthy options to choose from including gluten free. The Mint Chip Energizer tastes EXACTLY like mint chip ice cream, but without the guilt!!! Delicious!! Sesame chicken salad was very fresh and tasty. H2O #5 was wonderfully refreshing during a long work day. This location will definitely be my go to place.

Dined in during our staycation with Collin as our Server. Very timely and helpful. Josh the GM stopped by and checked on us, we really appreciate managers checking in on us. The helping of food we got for the cost was perfect. If you have restrictions as far as Vegetarian or Gluten Free they do have these options, we did not use, but it sounds like they take this seriously when brought to their attention.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. The atmosphere was beautiful and modern without being stuffy. The service was professional and attentive. They have beef, chicken, pork, fish, and seafood choices. The menu is modern American. All our dishes were very tasty. They were happy to sub or items for dietary restrictions. They had non alcoholic cocktails, gluten free, and vegetarian options.

Insomnia Cookies has the best gluten-free cookie I’ve ever had! Every bite is soft, chewy, and packed with flavor. It’s hard to believe it’s gluten-free because the texture and taste are just like a traditional cookie, if not better. They offer a great variety of flavors, and every time I indulge, it’s a treat I can count on to satisfy my sweet tooth. Plus, the staff is always friendly, and I love how they deliver fresh, warm cookies late into the night. We live in the neighborhood and have eaten here a handful of times, all to the same conclusion. This place is fine but massively overpriced. In spite of being lovingly reviewed, it’s really nothing to write home about. It is not a spot I would take friends visiting from out of town, but I have gone back repeatedly to try their rotating menu and more of their drink list. Nothing - and I mean nothing- has hit it out of the park, which is a bit upsetting at this price point. The service has been fine every time and some of the dishes are good (although most leave us wanting for something) but none are even remotely worth the price. As a chef myself, I can confirm the upcharge is extreme at this restaurant. The restaurant claims to have gluten and dairy free options but also asks that you don’t make substitutions and we have found that many of the items labeled “gluten free” on the website are actually not and can only be made gluten free with the omission of significant portions of the presentation. Basically you get half the overpriced dish to make it gluten free- like ice cream and a cookie without the cookie. Frustrating snd misleading and this situation applies to about half their “gluten free” menu.

I don’t really eat cupcakes a lot, but after I tried this one I can tell I do not like the cupcakes. I placed an order of 2 dozens of gluten free cupcakes, since I live a far from this area I asked if the can call me when they have it read to pick up. They actually called!! I drove 25 mints with no traffic when I was picking up the delicious cupcakes were not gluten free. They offered me to remake it for the next date. I agreed to that. I will let you judge the cupcakes I didn’t taste anything extraordinary on the cupcakes plus the presentation is very ??? I hope the manager, owner, or anyone in charge can see this.
