In one word, amazing!!! We walked for 25 minutes to get to this Gluten free café and it was well worth the pilgrimage. We had lunch there. My partner enjoyed her beautiful vegetable sandwich with cheese and I had a delicious quiche. The pastries were exquisite. If you are gluten free this is a must see, must taste destination :)

This was a very nice stopover after our holiday in Spain. The pizzas were delicious, two very sweet people who run this small restaurant with care and love. The gentleman makes the pizzas and the lady is from the pastry shop. I wouldn't skip dessert, it's really delicious!!!! As a Celiac, it is so nice to be able to eat without any worries. It's possible here🙏

Took myself down to Materr for dinner my last evening in Lyon. And it was one of my favourite moments. The owner is lovely - she accommodated my gluten free needs and was wonderful to chat to! The dish I had was delicious. I sat outside and the ambience was beautifully peaceful. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Essential place for celiacs in Lyon. I found it very difficult to eat gluten free in the city. Luckily there was the crêperie d'Amélie that made gluten-free galettes, both sweet and savory.

The food options weren't that varied and the "galleries" didn't add much to the meal, the meal as a whole was still delicious though. The galettes were gluten free, but rather than making gluten free crepes they used galettes for the dessert as well, which was a bit disappointing, but it's good they at least have the option. Very polite staff, but service could've been slightly faster. A great experience overall.

I am celiac and in Lyon there are very few gluten-free places and I loved this place. They have savory buckwheat crepes and they adapt the sweet ones with the same flour so you don't have a problem. I also want to highlight the good treatment of the staff and their kindness.

Super delicious—this went down in a matter of minutes! I loved eating here and the moussaka was outstanding. Our waiter was super polite and the glasses of French wine was yum. Super fun coming here with my vegan friends and coeliac girlfriend as they could all eat happily and safely. Only thing was that the chips were a bit pricey… however some extra salt could make that all the better

I ordered a burger with a gluten-free bun (on Deliveroo) being highly intolerant. Already the supplement is 2nd (in France it is one of the only countries where we are given gluten-free options even though it is a health problem, so it is discriminatory). Then when I received my order, normal bread... I couldn't eat my burger. I made a complaint on Deliveroo and ended up with a refund of 0.90e (from the restaurant certainly the price of a normal bun). Fucking shit. It would have been at least pleasant to reimburse the price of the supplement and normal to reimburse the price of the burger. It's good to want to make gluten-free options but you have to know a little about it and manage it properly, otherwise don't bother.

Excellent French (Lyonaise) food with a family living room type vibe. Also, I was shocked they were able to provide several gluten free food options for my wife, who celiac. She got the pulled beef and loved it. Definitely recommend.

Very good restaurant with beautiful surroundings. The menu offers dishes that can be adapted to people with intolerances/allergies to gluten and lactose (don't hesitate to ask)! Only downside: For “big eaters”, the portions are a little small but perfectly adequate!

Being gluten intolerant, I wasn't able to enjoy many Japanese fusion dishes, but I was delighted by the care taken with each of my plates so that they were exclusively gluten-free (without me having to sort directly on the dish as elsewhere…). Very nice home. I don't necessarily recommend that you go through TheFork because there seem to be reservation problems at times, and I don't want you to miss out on this very nice little restaurant. A short but effective menu, quality dishes, organic and from the region, although the quantities are perhaps a little light. The major point is above all a perfect welcome. The boss took great care, in particular by thoughtfully offering a gluten-free beer to my intolerant companion.

We booked through Expedia on a recommendation from a Lyon local. We requested 1 person sans gluten but that seem to come as a shock. The wine pairing was pleasant but not the best we have experienced. The fowl and fish were lightly cooked and not heavily seasoned. (Which I liked very much) The pre dessert, dessert and post dessert were the most enjoyable.

What a great time we had! For our first weekend in Lyon we had the chance to eat facing the water in the “little garden”. The welcome and advice from Geoffray "with an A" were perfect. THANKS. The menu with all the allergens announced is a relief and rare enough to notice it when you are gluten intolerant. 👍 And of course the very copious and very good cuisine. In short, an address that we will keep for a future stay in Lyon.

We had a gift voucher for 195 EUR for 2 people including aperitif and wine associated with each dish as well as coffee. I can guarantee you that the evening is full of surprises, from appetizers to sweets that accompany coffee. We had a crescendo of flavors to arrive at the apotheosis of dessert. My partner is celiac and therefore cannot eat gluten, I had specified this when booking and everything was done perfectly to manage with this diet. Thank you for that. And a little note from the chef on our menu that we brought back as a souvenir of this beautiful evening and we were able to meet him because he was present at the end of the meal to ask us if everything had gone well, a pleasant attention. In short, we eat terribly well, the wines are delicious and obviously in perfect harmony with the dishes, the service is attentive just as it should be, nothing stuffy. Go there with your eyes closed!

A restaurant that does what it says. We had the seven course taster menu which was a wonderful journey of taste experience, the theatre of the presentation and service was brilliant. Added to the evening, I am coeliac and all my food was prepared sans gluten, the chef even made a special bread for me, which unlike most gluten-free bread was delicious, it was quinoa bread. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant

The Burgundy Lounge is one of my favorite places we visited in Lyon. Their attention to detail is apparent and the food, service and wine are quite good. The two of us who dined there were gluten free and they were able to accommodate us without any issue. Their wine collection is almost overwhelming but their sommelier was friendly and helpful.
