The best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever had, even better to peace of mind that the whole place is fully gf, and the staff are very knowledgeable. We enjoyed taking these down to eat on the lakefront, will definitely be back again!

I was recommended to go here as a coeliac and wasn’t expecting a buffet style eatery - the food was okay.I went there twice and the first time the hot cabinet had only GF trays of food (which made me comfortable), but then the next day I came for breakfast and they did have one non-gf tray in the same cabinet. This made me uneasy, especially as the tray was the second row in, meaning the spoonfuls of food would have to travel over other gf trays and potentially contaminate them.

Had the pleasure of dinning at the Public kitchen and bar with my partner. Our waiter Ed throughly explained the menu to us. My partner is a celiac and Ed brought out a seperate menu for her and talked us through it and even gave us some delicious recommendations. As a coeliac and lactose intolerant person I was happy to find a place that was able to safely cater for breakfast and lunch! I didn’t love my breakfast, but I LOVED the chicken Vietnamese salad I had for lunch. Like it was the best lunch I had in my New Zealand travels. They are coeliac aware and take extra care with gluten free meals. Nice staff members and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee too!

Absolutely packed with people and super loud so an introvert's nightmare. Amazing wine list! The pizza was....well, pizza, and it was if course a very Italian choice list so none with chicken, but a few with shrimp, lots with ham, prosciutto, salami. The fresh salad was nice but could make it at home easy. Pasta looked amazing but no gluten free option was provided. Nice elevated street view if you sit near the windows. Had an aperitif that tasted like liquid toothpaste, an experience. Wouldn't take kids here as it'd be chaos.

Great afternoon view over the bay, I had a gluten free fish and chips which were cooked in a separate fryer which is fantastic as a coeliac. Fish batter was light and crunchy and shoestring chips were great. Very relaxing spot. Thank you

Lots of vegan options, very clear on the menu and in their own vegan section. We were really surprised by the jackfruit taco, as I'm not usually a jackfruit fan, but it was amazing. The churrros are also a must try. Pros: Vegan (and gluten-free) churros!, Heaps of vegan options, Great mocktails (and cocktails)

Great fresh burgers and friendly staff. Had two rounds because the first burger was so nice Accommodating of Gluten Free (celiac) for the burgers. Chips are GF but unfortunately cooked in the same fryer as crumbed things.

Nice enough place food was good gluten free options available. I would say it is aimed more towards the younger customer .We are in the 55/65 bracket the music was loud and there were alot of younger people who were drinking and having a good time .

Loved this place, inside is so beautiful, the staff member I spoke to was so friendly and the pizza was delicious. I went to so many places in Wanaka looking for somewhere that could do a gluten free pizza that was coeliac safe and I finally found it here. Pizza base was so crispy, the pizza was amazing and I'm definitely going back next time!

I love a good burger and this place didn't disappoint! Having both Gluten and Dairy allergies it can be hard at times when eating out but they were super accomidating and the mofo burger was super tasty and filling! They even provided a child's seat for our little one to sit and enjoy a hot chip or two

The gluten free The Classic burger and Japanese Donburi salad bowl I ordered online were delicious, generous and cooked perfectly. I have always enjoyed Pita Pit gluten free wraps but this time wanted to try something different. I ate the egg’d burger while it was still hot and saved the bowl for lunch the next day. I will definitely be back soon.

This place is a taste sensation. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. I am severe Coeliac and they cater for this really well with lots of options. There was 1 mix up with this and part of a dish didn't arrive but when the food is this good they can be forgiven. Tim our waiter was amazing and there whenever we needed him. Amazing service. Beautifully furnished with a great atmosphere and helpful staff. They have gluten-free options clearly listed on the menus, which is really helpful. When asked for further information about processes, the lady seating us told us that they have separate fryers for the gluten free food which helped my husband with Coeliac disease feel more safe. We weren’t that hungry so we just shared a cider and a GF chicken burger with fries. The chicken was nice and crispy while also still juicy.

I thought the mushroom risotto I had was super delicious! It's gluten free/celiac friendly :) It has small pieces of mushroom and it's not overly mushroomy so even if you're not a big fan of them (like me) it's overall very yum. My family got the big breakfast, caeser salad, and chicken burger with fries and they were all happy with their meals. I would suggest you add the allergens such as gf to your menu please. The risotto only had (v) next to it.
