DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!!!
I ordered food off the menu that was labelled as gluten free and nut free, and triple checked with staff that my order was safe for me with severe allergies. However I was repeatedly served dishes that clearly were covered in nuts, and as my family’s food was being served was then told I couldn’t have what I ordered as it had gluten in. I was patient and repeatedly reiterated how important this was to get right and they need to change their menu, but they did not grasp how their mistakes could have caused life threatening allergic reaction.
The food my family had they all said was delicious so I’m sure it would be a nice restaurant if you don’t have a restricted diet.
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent lunch on a Tuesday at this restaurant with colleagues. The decor is beautiful and there was a great ambience.
All three courses were delicious and I would highly recommend them. I chose soup, fishcake and profiteroles. In all honesty it was too much and I couldn't finish the desert. I would love to return.
The staff were attentive and helped with directing us to the gluten free menu for some guests. There were quite a number of options to choose from. The one disappointment was no option for gluten free bread as a starter/table sharer.
Overall a fantastic experience!
We are staying in the local area and had an excellent meal here this evening, a fantastic choice for gluten free, the presentation was first class and the staff were very polite and attentive .
Really lovely waitress Freya, thank you. The restaurant is lovely, very nice decorated and a nice atmosphere. I had the veggie all day breakfast which was really delicious and well cooked. It would be really helpful for a proper gluten free menu rather than having to look up individual ingredients on an app. However staff were very helpful in ensuring my husband was able to eat a GF meal.
A cracking meal on the tasting menu for the pair of us on a Friday night, beautiful location, right on the river, overlooking the weir on the Thames at Marlow.
Greated warmly, with friendly staff, who let you do your thing and you can have a chuckle with, the tasting menu seemed to get better and better as the courses went on.....
The chicken was just sublime as was the lamb main, the dhal superb, my only gripe would be that we found chocolate fondant an odd finish to the meal, the vanilla ice cream tasted very shop brought with absolutely no vanilla pod seeds to be seen!?
They catered to my gluten free needs really easily and only needed to alter a couple of bits, much appreciated, thank you all, we shall return!
Not visited in a while but what a popular busy venue, great atmosphere and service, home cooked food was great and catering for gluten free, which is a dream when your navigating menus to avoid any intolerance. Would recommend

A hidden gem! The most authentic Italian food we’ve had outside Italy. I’m gluten free and I was able to pick almost anything off the menu! We had 3 courses each and every single mouthful was a delight. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for the opportunity to eat the finest fresh meat or fish that’s prepared and cooked authentically.
We ordered the 7 course meal - a truly amazing experience, food was outstanding, service brilliant, has to be my favourite restaurant in Marlow. Good restaurant if you're gluten free- almost everything in the Savour the Experience menu was gluten free!
