This is a spot worth checking out for both locals and tourists! Bite Into Maine has three locations including this one, in addition to a trailer at Allagash Brewing and one at Fort Williams. This was my first visit to this particular location and enjoyed it!
Located in a great location with lots to do within walking distance but be sure to come here for their lobster rolls or what I enjoyed the Lobster BLT. It comes on a delicious grilled buttered ciabatta roll with delicious lobster atop a classic BLT. Bacon being the perfect level of crisp! On the side you will get a serving of chips. Staff were friendly and after ordering you get a beeper that will let you know when it’s ready. They got plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if the weather is nicer.
Also to note for those who cannot handle gluten this is a great spot to check out. And even better for those you can go enjoy gluten free beers at Orange Bike Brewing and checking out the special Bite Into Menu gluten free menu located all over the brewery to enjoy a beer and bite without concern of gluten!
This vibrant spot offers a bright, casual space with a large communal table and window seats overlooking city life, creating a warm, lively atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for gluten-free and celiac guests.

Wow this place was really awesome! There was a ton of hype online about them so I was a bit skeptical…but wow did they deliver! What I appreciated was how good the gluten free and vegetarian options there were - it’s a small menu so I’m glad we had some choices. I got the mapo tofu and my girlfriend got a lamb ramen that they made gluten free. The non alcoholic drinks were really fun and whimsical as well! Would recommend!

Had a fantastic dinner here with friends. They got the dumpling flight, lobster rangoon, and the bao buns. All were amazing and they loved trying all of the different dumplings—a really nice sharing option and super fun date idea. I got the mango salad and curry. Also all fabulous. I am veg and celiac and they were super accommodating and thoughtful about gluten free and cross contamination. The server Michaela was really helpful and warm!! Would for sure go back!!

Very cool, intimate restaurant. We ordered an array of small plates to share and they had a separate gluten free menu that I very much appreciated. Our cocktails were interesting but a bit off the mark. The sashimi was the best dish that we had and the mochi bacon was chewy and interesting.
This cozy, small space with an open kitchen offers a funky, hipster vibe and friendly, helpful service. While the environment is intimate and lively, gluten-free options have received mixed reviews, so caution is advised for those with strict dietary needs.
