Normal loud, dark wood-paneled interior but very professional staff. Good service. Gluten-free menu for my husband. First time ordering tuna tartare appetizer. Thumbs up. I ate their bouillabaisse which was excellent with a yummy crostini toast. Not cheap, nor should it be. Pictured is their seafood tower. Although it’s not what I ate, I saw several of those going out.
A spot with a cool ambiance and a twist on brunch, boasting a beautiful and authentic interior, and a history-rich building.

(Only complaint is there is no option of gluten free bread or toast for the brunch or burgers)
A great spot with labeled options, but be mindful of cross-contamination when enjoying your experience here.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Henry's today. I have celiac disease so need gluten free options and they had their options labeled on the menu. One of the options was the Steak Frites, but when I asked if they fried the fries in a separate fryer, unfortunately they said they don't have a clean fryer for gluten free fries. I don't think the Steak Frites should be labeled gluten free if they aren't going to accommodate a separate fryer for the fries. It is very important to be careful about cross contamination for people with celiac disease. Otherwise, the meal and the experience were great. Just be careful and make sure to speak up about your gluten allergy
Unique vibe in a historic house with beautifully presented dishes and an inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a lovely evening out.

We had the loco oysters, crispy fish sandwich and the deviled crab cake sandwich. They did not have gluten-free bread but they did accommodate by making a salad out of my crab cake sandwich. Everything was very good, loved it!
A delicious dinner! Sean C. Was such a good server. He was very thoughtful regarding a gluten allergy at our table and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Will definitely come back!
Enjoy a vibrant and casual vibe, offering unique dishes that stand out, with a must-try secret sauce that’s stealing the show.

We were in town for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and this was the place I was most excited to visit. Our waiter , James, was amazing. I appreciated the attention to my husband's gluten allergy throughout the meal. The meal was paced perfectly and the food was very good. I also highly recommend the coconut cake! The only negative that we don't have one of these back home!
This cozy dessert spot has a variety of delectable treats that keep dessert lovers coming back for more, year after year.

We found this place based on Google reviews, and we are so glad we did! It's a terrific dessert café. I'm gluten-free, and it was such a joy to find somewhere with delicious after-dinner options. My non gf husband had the bourbon pecan pie and said it's fabulous.
A must-visit in Charleston for fresh and inventive dishes, perfect for those seeking unique flavors and plenty of options.

I would skip this one if you are looking for THE BEST in Charleston. The food is not worth the cost or the hype. Under-seasoned and everything seemed to be missing something. I'm gluten-free, so my options were limited. My husband ordered a red snapper and did enjoy it. I appreciated that our server and the manager offered to re-make my steak and tried to make it right. I just wasn't impressed overall.
Experience a beautifully decorated dining space with excellent service, deliciously crafted dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere that impresses every time.

My hubby and I recently returned to Charleston SC for a vacation. Charleston has sooo many wonderful restaurants and Anson’s is at the top of that list. We had reservations but were pleasantly surprised when we received a call from the Manager confirming our reservation and our seating request. Impressive. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted by several employees. Our table was in a beautifully decorated room wherein the tables were dressed well but spaced apart to ensure our safety and privacy. Very nice. I’m gluten sensitive so I have to be careful. Their menu was marked clearly. I ordered the she crab soup and the shrimp and grits. Hubby ordered the beet salad and the grouper Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. Eventhough the she crab soup was not marked gluten free I ordered it and was fine. They either use small amounts of flour or cornstarch to thicken; whichever the case, I experienced no discomfort and would order it again. The grits are the best I’ve ever tasted. I could eat them everyday. My hubby was equally impressed with the grouper and beet salad. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert. Our server, Peter, was wonderful! Very attentive without that annoying hovering. A+++
Cameron and Max were absolutely amazing, they took my celiac seriously and made eating gluten free so easy. I couldn’t be happier. The sushi was out of this world. Highly recommend

Excellent Christmas dinner at Granite and the Fox. It's a fun lounge-style atmosphere, great waitstaff. The food was quite good, not exactly excellent, but very good. The swordfish was nice and juicy, taleggio pizza was nice, the ravioli was my favorite and very delicious. Also nice NA selection. It would have been nice if there were more options for vegetarian, gluten or dairy free, especially in the deserts. Overall great meal!
