My wife and I absolutely love coming here, and it has become our favorite Thai spot. The service here has always been amazing, we've always been taken care of, and they're always friendly. The food is always spot on in terms of presentation, flavor, and variety. The one thing I will call out is that some of the prices don't make a lot of sense. My wife, who has a gluten allergy, always gets the pineapple fried rice with beef which ends up being around $20. Which is quite pricey for fried rice of any kind. My normal go-to, panang curry with chicken usually runs about $16. Although, it's been a fairly minor concern in our overall experience with this location. Again, we love this place and suggest you give them a try.

Variety of Impressive menu items!! Service was excellent. Helpful, kind, and courteous table visit check ins! Family had the smash burgers; everyone approved ~ especially our 15 yr old, highly approves! And after a 7am swim meet! :) I had one of three available specials; turkey burger= outstanding!! TRULY! Very juicy & thick, flavorful caramelized toppings& gluten-free bun! On the tables~ habanero hot sauce, perfect touch. Lots of GF/V options! Can’t wait to go back for the plantains, Brussels, & jasmine rice bowls! Yum. Open late Fri-Sat too! Thanks guys! Best wishes!

This was our first time coming here and the food and service were absolutely amazing!! They were very attentive to our needs and friendly. My two sisters have Crohn’s disease so finding a place with gluten free options is always a plus!! We will definitely be back soon!!

Great spot for lunch. They’re always so accommodating with gluten free options as well. Had an issue yesterday with cheese ending up on my sub which I cannot have due to dairy issues but Jared was very understanding and was able to help me out today. 10/10 will recommend this location to everyone. Swig and Swine never disappoints on the food! First time here with our 8 year old that has celiac’s. Kaylyn, our server, went above and beyond to make sure she was accommodated. They can create a kids meal from the GF menu (up charges required for the more expensive meats). Kaylyn didn’t forget about us gluten eaters either 🤣 Completely wonderful experience!

As someone with a gluten allergy, it's hard to find a place that makes good sub sandwiches while being careful about cross contamination. I've had mixed experiences here in the past, but the last two times I went were great! The staff, especially Fredrick, took my allergy seriously and made sure there was minimal cross contamination. Both times, the subs were the best I've ever had from there. Thank you, Fredrick, for taking the time and effort. It's greatly appreciated on my end!

amazing pizza!! this is my second time coming to this location, driving from Daniel Island even thought there is one on DI, the Oakbrook location it is by far the best of the Famulari’s in the area. I ordered a gluten free and NY style pizza and they are both always great. The crust is always perfectly cooked with perfect sauce to cheese to toppings ratio. Their balsamic glaze and garlic butter dip is delicious! Both of my orders were carry out but the atmosphere of the place felt incredibly welcoming and just like a pizza shop I grew up going to. Highly recommend this place!

Five Guys is a popular burger chain known for its fresh, made-to-order burgers. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and a simple menu, but the food is always delicious. I recently visited a Five Guys and was impressed with the staff's knowledge of the menu and their willingness to accommodate allergies. I have a gluten allergy and the waiter was able to recommend several dishes that were safe for me to eat. He also offered to make my burger on a lettuce wrap, which I appreciated. I ended up ordering the "All the Way" burger, which is topped with cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickles. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The toppings were all fresh and the lettuce wrap was a great option for people with gluten allergies. I also tried the fries, which are hand-cut and cooked in peanut oil. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were seasoned perfectly and were a great accompaniment to the burger. Overall, I had a great experience at Five Guys. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the staff was knowledgeable about allergies. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good burger.

We made a reservation and needed a high chair but came to find out they don’t have high chairs… which was interesting. Not sure if that’s because they don’t “encourage” children coming, but at that point we had to decide if we were going to be able to stay. We were going to make it work since it had been a long day and we had 2 kids under 5 that were hungry and cranky. We asked if there was a table outside because they originally were gonna seat us right in the center of the restaurant and we did NOT want to disturb the guests around us. Thankfully they were kind enough to let us get a table outside on their beautiful patio. They even had someone come turn the heat lamps on which they totally didn’t have to because it was so nice out. Once we finally got settled in, our server came to greet us and tell us about the specials. She was very nice. I ordered a bottle of wine and when she came to present it, she told me that she was not confident or comfortable with opening the wine and was struggling. I offered to open it for her. I’m only sharing this part because as a food and beverage manager it is essential that my staff knows how to properly open wine bottles for guests, especially those who are spending a money on a decent bottle of wine. But I wasn’t upset, I just think that should be something that is reconsidered for servers in their training. If she didn’t, then someone else should’ve assisted her. I think if it was someone else dining in that would’ve been off putting. However, she was honest and patient and I appreciated that. As for the food, we enjoyed everything. My husband has severe celiac and it was communicated to us what he could have and he thoroughly enjoyed the bolognese. We had an assortment of entrees that all had great flavor and went great with the Italian wine we had. They were not shy on portions at all and we had plenty of food to take home. The creme brûlée was delicious and our server was attentive. Overall we had a great experience and being outside was super clutch with the kiddos.

We went to Oscar's for dinner for a first time visit, and the server was exceptional, even as he was training someone new. The menu was carefully explained to us, and although they didn't have a specific gluten-free menu, the server was very quick to assure me that he could let me know what dishes could be modified for my allergy. My husband had the crab legs for an appetizer (very nice portion size) and the grilles trio oscar-style. I had the braised short ribs. We both had the collard greens (soooo good) and my husband loved the Mac and cheese. The food was wonderful! When I asked about the dessert menu, they showed me the two desserts that were gluten-free. I told them that I was a little disappointed because I was hoping for something with chocolate. Our server told me that he knew they had chocolate torte cake yesterday and could check to see if they still had some leftover. SURPRISINGLY, THEY DID!!!! And that cake was so good! Truly everything was wonderful, and our first visit here is something we won't forget.

Offers gluten-free hamburger buns, which are awesome. They don't fall apart like many offered in grocery stores. With mash potatoes I can eat and enjoy a meal without sweating getting sick.

Pathetic customer service. I called in at 1:42 PM on Saturday Jan 11, 2025 (check your cameras and phone logs McAlister's) I called to ask to purchase a loaf of their gluten free bread. I've gotten it here at least three times over the last two years and the last time was one month ago, beginning of December. My daughter has severe reactions to gluten. They have always sold it to me. They have to charge me by the slice which is expensive, but I never complained as I appreciated the ability to get it here. When I called today, a young man answered the phone and when I put in my request, he laughed at me and said we don't do that. I explained that yes they have in the past. He proceeds to ask another employee laughing at me and telling them he had someone on the phone who wanted to purchase the bread. A female voice in the background said we don't do that. He came back to the phone laughing again and saying this isn't a thing. I asked him did he think I was just making this up? So then I asked to speak to a manager. I heard another male voice in the background say yes we do that but we have to charge by the slice. (which I already knew, so I thought this would solve the problem. Instead he comes on the phone and says nope, we don't do that here. I asked to speak to Mark, another manager who I spoke to last time and knew he would know what to do. Instead they tell me he no longer works there and what I was asking was out of the question. The entire time both males on the phone were laughing at me and making fun of my request. Now if they had said we are under new management and can no longer provide this service would be one thing, but to imply I was crazy and that they have never sold it this way before is not only immature, unprofessional, and very rude, but was very disrespectful and horrible customer service. Do better McAlisters with your training. I will not be revisiting your establishment as well as I am in charge of ordering meals for our corporate lunches, which now you have also lost that business as well. Maybe hitting you in the pocketbook will wake you up to train your employees more professional.

Extremely rude service. I entered politely. I waited as the person behind the counter was preparing call ahead orders and when he was finally ready I expressed I have a gluten allergy and he acted as if they didn’t care. He was completely unaware what had gluten and was disinterested in finding out, quite litterally shrugged his shoulders when I asked what my limitations are. The girl who was at the register tried to interject to help but unfortunately wasn’t sure it seemed as well. Just a very uncomfortable experience.

The shrimp and avocado salad is my staple here. It is SO GOOD! I usually stop here in SUMMERVILLE for a bite to eat when I arrive into town for work - they have fab gluten free options too. I ate at Toast this last week while I was in Summerville. Cay, Emily, amd Dominique were amazing. They were so polite and attentive. The breakfast food was amazing. I am gluten sensitive so I had a lot of questions and Cay was able to answer all of them. I definitely recommend visiting Taste if you're in the Summerville area.

My mom saw a commercial on tv for a ‘pizza bowl’ at Marco’s. She went on and on about it until I looked it up to see if gluten was an ingredient. Crustless and gluten free for the win! I suggested we try Marco’s for the first time. After attempting to order online for delivery (which is a big deal...my mom NEVER does food delivery), I found out that her place is out of the delivery range. So I called to order and we went to pick up. It was a nice surprise and was very tasty. My hub and I shared an XL which was very good and mom got the pizza bowl. Hers didn’t look very appetizing but she enjoyed it and was full. I will definitely go back to try more menu items.

Food was delicious! Service was quick and very nice. Love the brick floor. Pictured is the steak & eggs and eggs Benedict. I'm gluten free and dairy free so our server checked to make sure the steak wasn't marinaded in worcestershire sauce and they didn't use any butter. Very thankful for that so I didn't get sick!

The owners are the sweetest around. I called to see if they were open after the first day of school to get my children ice cream. The owner answered and shared they were closed. However, she exclaimed she was there so we could keep our tradition and come on in for the sweet treat! What a wonderful thing to do. Each flavor was delicious with many gluten free options. I recently heard about Summerville Nutrition and I’m SO happy it was recommended to me! Their protein shakes taste so good and you would never guess they’re healthy! They don’t taste chalky at all, and are so filling. I got a beautiful tea too, and it was so refreshing and picture perfect. I couldn’t believe they had low sugar and gluten free options too! The owner who served me was SO KIND and helped me navigate the menu. The space is so cute and trendy too! You can’t go wrong. I would HIGHLY recommend trying out this healthy spot!
