I loved the super personalized service, the coffee was fantastic, the waiter impeccable and the cuisine respected food intolerances as much as possible. Being gluten and lactose intolerant, I was treated to a pulled pork grilled cheese of exceptional taste. I would like to thank Cartet for their diligence and remarkable professionalism.
This spot shines with a lively atmosphere, delightful brunch offerings, and attentive service that makes every visit memorable.

We had an amazing brunch here! The avocado toast (with perfectly poached eggs) and steak and eggs were amazing and the cocktails were on point. Maeva’s service was awesome and she was so sweet to bring us a little treat to help me celebrate my birthday. For the gluten free folks out there, they do have gluten free bread and were very accommodating of my allergy. I would definitely come back!
Enjoy a chill atmosphere perfect for date nights, where you can indulge in generous portions and exceptional desserts like profiteroles and orange cake.

Stumbled on this place when we were out with our kids and very hungry. The staff was extremely friendly, especially with the kids, even though it's not really a family restaurant. My wife is gluten free and they had lots of options for her. All of the food, cocktails, and sangria was delicious. I don't know if you could go wrong.
Charming spot with delicious brunch potatoes and a unique, thick hollandaise that might surprise your palate.

Lovely restaurant, staff were very nice. The brunch potatoes are delicious. The hollandaise was very thick... Perhaps just not my jam. It was almost a bit like mayonnaise. They have glutenfree bread available which is great and much appreciated.
A lively spot worth the drive, with top-notch service, unique decor, and a vibe that makes every visit memorable.

Incredible service, exception food. Love the look and feel of this restaurant. They were able to modify almost every dish for a gluten allergy. Absolutely recommend coming here!
Spectacular service. They were very aware of a gluten sensitivity, and were incredibly accommodating and careful.
Had the canard, escargot, and sea bass. Incredible food.
Chill vibes and trendy decor create a perfect spot for relaxing with friends, offering plenty of seating inside and out.

It was either an off night or Gaspar has experienced a decline in the quality of the food. I was so excited to try Gaspar during our visit to Montreal, after getting a recommendation from a friend, seeing it listed on a travel blog post, and seeing the many great reviews on Google. But...we sadly left feeling disappointed by our dinner there, and felt we'd had much better food for lower prices elsewhere in Old Montreal. Gaspar is gluten free / celiac friendly, which I appreciated very much. There's a dedicated fryer and our waiter was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We sat outside on the terrace, though we wished we had chosen to sit inside. Partly because of the weather that day, but also because the Gaspar terrace wasn't as nice as some of the other terraces. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. We had a dinner reservation but there were many tables available, so the reservation likely wasn't necessary.
Bruno's lasagnas are absolutely the best ever. He closes the store every year to make the tomato sauce from scratch, and to me it makes all the difference. He makes his lasagnas with and without meat, with tofu, with rose sauce or regular tomato sauce, with tons of veggies and also glutenfree. I am currently going through a special diet for allergies and he makes my lasagna without tofu, without cheese and without gluten... and I still absolutely love it!!! Go there and treat yourself to the yummy stuff!
Very good experience. Very pleasant environment and the service and food were impeccable. Plus, there are several gluten-free options. I'll go back, that's for sure.
On October 29, 2016, we were a group of 40 people and we chose a buffet as suggested by Mila, one of the co-owners. A special section was reserved for us. Malia took care of us as soon as we arrived to ensure that everything went to our satisfaction. A gluten meal was even prepared for one of the guests, which was very appreciated. All participants were unanimous in their approval of the quality of service and the quality of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Enjoy stunning city views from a high perch with unique two-elevator access and charming indoor seating that complements the vibrant atmosphere.

Came here before a show. My wife is celiac and cannot eat anything with or contaminated with gluten. The menu used to clearly tell us what was GF, no more. Only mentioned vegetarian options. This is unacceptable for a restaurant like this. Our waitress tried to help with the choices but it was very limited. I don’t understand how a restaurant like this still fries other things in the same oil as the fries for example. In 2025, in the middle of downtown Montreal, it’s very sad. It was our 2nd upsetting experience at this place in less than 1 year. We will not return.
The braised beef I had was also below the expectations, used to be much much better. I received my french onion soup with my main plate! Who does that? I could see my soup under the counter for a good 10 min, doesn’t make sense.
Dine on expertly crafted seafood and steak with a focus on detail and customization for a standout experience.

Amazing seafood and steak, very attentive to detail and aware of allergens. Some good gluten free options are the grilled scallops, and the shrimp cocktail they can give you a mayo instead of the cocktail sauce.
