They have gluten free galettes, but they cook them in the same place as everything else, so the cross contamination is guaranteed.
It annoys me because I had dinner here the other day and I specifically said I am a celiac and I showed them a gluten-free card in French. Today I asked again just to confirm, as of course, I don't expect them to remember me.
In my experience, there can be a lack of understanding about cross-contamination in France, and this was disappointing.
However, this could be an opportunity to improve and learn, so I'll explain: Cross-contamination happens when gluten-free food is prepared on shared surfaces, with shared utensils, or fryers. For those with celiac disease, even a small amount of gluten can cause serious health issues. It’s essential to use separate, clean equipment. If this is not possible, it’s understandable, but please don’t label something as 'gluten-free' if it's not truly safe.

They offer gluten-free patties, but they are cooked in the same place as the other dishes, so cross-contamination is inevitable.
It's frustrating, because I had dinner here the other day and I made it clear that I was celiac by showing a gluten-free menu in French. Today I asked again, just to confirm, because of course I didn't expect to be remembered.

I went to eat and they assign a waiter to your table, the attention and service is impeccable. They have several rooms and a garden, each one more beautiful. The food is exquisite and the quality is evident, it is worth going and the price of the buffet, there are oysters and a seafood section with lobster, a foia section, if you are a cheese lover you will enjoy it because there are many varieties and which one more good🤤, they make a special dish with a show called duck a la sangre, there is another section of hot dishes of the day, I tried the gratin and stuffed scallop, delicious! It is great with dishes and meals to everyone's tastes, if you are celiac when making the reservation you specify it and you will have your gluten-free option. Always leave room for dessert! There is even an ice cream parlor inside the Buffet, there is a waiter making pancakes on the spot and a great variety of desserts that you don't know which one to choose ❤️ I will definitely go back to try everything that I had left pending and my stomach no longer allowed me 😂😅
Known for welcoming options for all, this spot impresses with generous portions and delightful surprises for your meal experience.

Very good address in Narbonne! It would be in your best interest to mention the option of gluten-free bread for your burgers. I was pleasantly surprised to have this option after asking the waiter "by chance". We all ate very well and in good quantity!
Expect a remarkable experience where the team goes above and beyond to create a customized menu that leaves a lasting impression.

Mediterrneo: an exceptional place for an exceptional moment. Arriving without warning that I am gluten intolerant and vegetarian, the chef and his team went out of their way to prepare a magnificent menu for me. Thank you very much to everyone for your attention. Chef, kitchen team, pastry chef, service team: THANK YOU 💜. See you soon.
Very good restaurant in Narbonne. The dishes are elaborate, well presented and very good. The service was impeccable. Suitable for gluten-free diets. A very good address
Very good!
Ideal for having a good time with the family, personally my grandmother takes us there every time we see each other, we never really get tired of it, better than McDonald's!
Also my mother is allergic to gluten, the free choice of free side dish is perfect, she can eat good vegetables instead
Always a pleasure!

This charming restaurant captivated us with its warm and attentive staff, enhancing our Sunday lunch experience. The ambiance was delightful, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Each dish was a culinary triumph, especially the honey-drizzled roasted butternut and the succulently prepared tuna with fresh vegetables. The confit apple dessert was a sublime finale, offering a sweet and satisfying end to our meal. I am particularly grateful for the staff’s thoughtful adjustments to accommodate our gluten-free and dairy-free dietary needs. Their attention to detail and customer care truly set this establishment apart.
Despite our late arrival and a food intolerance (gluten-free), we were very well received: charming and attentive waiter. The salads and homemade cheesecake are excellent. A table to recommend.
PS. Cocktails and especially Spritzes are “effective”!
What a great discovery. Being allergic to gluten, they bent over backwards to prepare a “special” plate for me with quality products. Top notch welcome and service! We have to stop 😁👌
A gem in Narbonne stands out for its helpful staff and allergen info, making it a rare find for those needing special dietary attention.

For the third time I travel to France and it is clear to me that France is not a country for celiacs. There is little, if any, information about this intolerance.
The positive exception that I have to thank is that of the La France restaurant in Narbonne. Although there is no gluten-free menu, they do have information about allergens and the waiters informed me of the gluten-free options that were on the menu. I am very grateful to them because it was the first day that I was able to eat safely in the week I spent in France. Thank you
Chill vibes with a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for lingering over drinks and a diverse menu that caters to all tastes.

Superb welcome, bonus points for being the only restaurant in the neighborhood to serve after 2 p.m.!
The team is great, the food is refreshing, we are allowed to take our time, chat, have a drink, hang out after coffee...
The place is pleasant, we don't want to leave, but that doesn't matter, we'll go back!
Wide choice of simple dishes for all tastes and diets, from vegetarian, gluten-free, meat, fish.
Dare to try it, it’s worth the detour and it’s affordable
