Who knows what their food is like. They didn’t open at 10am like their hours say they do & so I didn’t get to try their gluten free food on my flying visit to HK. Sad, cos now I have to go to a muggle bakery and watch other people eat nice things. Boo hoo Sweatpea cafe.
Top tip: if your Google hours say you open at a certain time, please do so, OR get them changed!
Bedu is FANTASTIC and best of all - celiac friendly! Their menu is marked with gluten free indicators and the chef is very knowledgeable. On top of that, the food is some of the absolute best I have ever had. We were honestly blown away. The labneh is to die for.
Big ups to the team for being accommodating and helpful!
We absolutely loved this place! Had a gluten free pizza which was delicious and one of the best i’ve had (and i’ve had a lot, haha!)
Our waitress Ichushi was really lovely, great service overall!
Cutest salad shop with vegan and gluten free options. Asian and European flavours to cater to all! I had an Asian plate with curry, cold Chinese salad and tofu. Hubs had chickpeas, beetroot and lentils. Would come again.
We had amazing experience with wonderful service, including highly caring staff members. The good, all fishes we have had, was absolutely delicious. I personally could never think I can eat sashimi, as i previously never liked the raw meat, but the Salman and the other fish, had such amazing flavour that I could enjoy the most and even ask for more. The chief souls be talented and well experienced, to make such delicious foods. To take ie to another level, we are on gluten free diet (not coeliac but just intolerant) and the chief made some alterations in the food for us, so we could adhere to our diet.
Well done team. We cannot wait to come back and we do not hesitate to recommend it to all visitors who are looking for an amazing taste.
$$, but lovely food. Great wine.
Meal for 1: 4 messenger 1 glass house wine. c$700 And they will cater for gluten free, but check as every course is delivered as you will get served by multiple waiters.
Great Italian place in central HK (HK Island). The places many authentic dishes including many gluten free options. My favourites included Nduja and fruitti Di mare. There is also a seperate kids menu for those under 12 years of age. The vibe was good and service excellent. A HK goto for those who enjoy good Italian pasta that is gluten free.

There is a beer menu, wine list, gluten-free menu, and regular menu. Make sure you get the ones you need. Very dark. Menu could be printed a little larger. It's hard to read in the dark environment.
I indulged myself on the Yashoku Night Brunch the 6th of January. Even though the free flow setting is definately up for group parties, I really enjoyed the evening on my own. With very friendly staff, a nice atmosphere with DJ and live percussion, delicious drinks and a beautiful evening filling glutenfree food journey. A night to remember!
Amber, Now in its 18th year of operation. After closing for renovation in 2018, Amber made a stunning comeback in May 2019.
Dutch-born chef Richard Ekkebus's restaurant has undergone a radical revamp. The refreshed space feels natural, with soft curves and undulating gold sculptures hanging overhead.
As opposed to the à la carte of the past, it now serves only prix-fixe menus, one of which is vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free with reduced salt. The new Amber no longer uses dairy, gluten, refined sugar or salt.
Food is of high quality, innovative and will pleasure any palate.
Loved the food and the ambience!
I ordered from the gluten-free menu, which doesn't include dumplings. However, they can prepare gluten-free dumplings if you call ahead and order them.
The manager, Helen, is super friendly and helpful!
Great spot to grab a quick beverage like a seltzer or kombucha. Lots of gluten free snack options. Nice vitamin and supplement section. They even have some deli meat and frozen raw meat. Some things are a little pricey, but just check the prices and expiration date and decide if it’s right for you. They have a lot of options here that you can’t find easily elsewhere in HK.
