BEST experience and BEST gelato!! The server was fully aware of gluten free and cross contamination - fully changed gloves and fresh scoops, and scooped from the fresh back end of the ice cream to avoid cross contamination. Also super impressed that you could choose multiple flavours in whichever cup or cone size. Wish I could go back!!! It was such a relief to have a gelato shop that understood ☺️

Anastasia is the golden girl of golden beach. Nothing is too much trouble for her to make you feel at home and welcome. Try their breakfast, many options including gluten free are available, try their Greek salad at lunch and, their cold beer later in the afternoon. Cakes? Do you like local and fresh Greek cakes with your coffee? Look no further. This is a gem we have been returning to for many years in prokopios.

I am a coeliac with a dairy allergy. Explained this and they assured me all the ice cream was gluten-free and then I had the choice of 7 flavours that were dairy-free!! I had the Aztec Chocolate - yummy dark chocolate, almonds and a hint of cinnamon - simply sublime. Hoping I have time to go back before we fly out as I want to try the watermelon! They asked if it was an allergy and went and got a new spoon to scoop the ice cream into a cup, so nice about it. Thank you for making such a rare occurrence so special for me!

I’ve been eating the vegan chocolate sorbet here everyday and learned they also serve gluten free crepes! So I ordered one and it was delicious. Absolutely huge crepes So big I couldn’t finish it!

Deplorable service, my brother got confused and put a sauce with gluten (he is celiac) and the manager came out shouting that we had to pay for it (€7 for a small amount, a scam) I had already bought an ice cream and we were going to buy a water and other ice cream. The best gluten free ice cream on the island! We came back here a few times with the majority of their ice cream's being gluten free. They were all delicious and the staff here are really friendly. Be sure to try the local Greek Yoghurt Mastika flavour. Lovely ambience to sit inside on a hot day, or outside on a cool evening and get lucky to share the step with Charlie their cute dog! 🐕

We went to eat in the afternoon. The usher was an older man with a funny sense of humor. Then the mess started. There weren't many customers in the place, but it took a long time before orders were taken. An invoice was requested separately between the two groups. Not received. The waiter brought the wine, but didn't pour it into the glasses, so we did the pouring ourselves. It worked out that way. The food was ok. However, the gluten-allergic member of our group wondered why there was no gluten-free sauce in the dish, so the sauce was left out. The tableware was not taken away, so we piled it on the corner of the table. All in all, the service left a taste that the waiters were not quite up to their duties. My stomach was full, so now this place has also been experienced.

Really good ice cream! Also, the staff was knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and very thorough. They used new spoons and took from brand new boxes for our gluten free order. There were also gluten free cones available. For our six year old daughter with celiac disease this was a high point of the week. Several other places had provided few options and some questionable knowledge. So she was in literal tears of joy after our visit - grateful that the staff had been so kind and considerate.

We found Petrino from a recommendation by our host. My wife is gluten free and we found Petrino's menu to be extremely accommodating. All of their starters are gluten free as well as a majority of the remaining menu. As for the food quality, it was nothing short of exceptional. We ate at Petrino's multiple times during our stay on Naxos. Every meal was done perfectly. The meals were full of flavor, plated beautifully, and described by the staff as they were delivered. Lastly, the staff was phenomenal. Always willing to provide suggestions on what to order, answer any questions we had around gluten, and extremely friendly and inviting. They made us feel like family.

All of their gelato flavors are gluten free. They do have gluten cones in their facility but if you let them know you are celiac you can have them get a new scoop and ask to scoop from the front. The flavors are so yummy.

Delicious gelato with gluten free options marked on menu. Unfortunately I ordered a berry flavour that was meant to be GF but seemed to have biscuits sprinkled on top. The server did not understand me but I managed to swap out my cup for a new flavour. Disappointed that they had GF marked items but were not careful or aware of cross contamination or even biscuit toppings eek! Worth a visit but do be careful ☺️

The food was really very good. There are also many gluten-free options here, including food, gluten-free beer, and bread. The bread is baked by the owner's son. I particularly enjoyed the Stifado, and I ordered it again on my second visit. The owner and her staff are also excellent at their jobs and very friendly. A little further up town, the same owner runs a second restaurant, "Palatum," which also has many gluten-free options. We enjoyed our meals at both places and would gladly return.
