the gamberia pasta was absolutely beautiful, aswell as the cubano cocktail. being gluten & dairy free, it’s hard for me to come across restaurants that have my dietary options but the staff was excellent. will definitely visit again for dinner when I’m back at the mount.
Known for its accommodating menu, generous portions, and exceptional service, this bustling spot delivers a satisfying dining experience.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. The food is unbelievable and the owner is such a nice guy. Open to suggestions. I’d really recommend this Italian. Gluten free no problem.
Discover a rave-worthy spot known for its thin, crispy crust and fresh ingredients, perfect for those craving unique pizza experiences.

OMG what an amazing establishment. Honestly the best pizza I've ever had in the 85 countries I've visited. Love the thin crispy crust and the freshest ingredients. The staff are very friendly and polite. Btw, I had the Quattro Stagiori pizza and it was simply the best 👌. They also have vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options available.
A fantastic spot for group celebrations with a welcoming vibe and attentive service that ensures everyone feels included.

Had such a lovely experience at Alma Eatery for a Sunday lunch celebration. The amazing Laura (fantastic name also 😉) that was looking after our table was beyond incredible. I was dining with a big group and had my 18mth old with me. Laura was beyond helpful a genuinely so kind. They respected the fact I had coeliac requirements and catered perfectly.
Loved the food ( best gluten free pizza ever) the ambience and the best cocktails. We were in Tauranga for two nights and we went there on both the nights 😆

Giovanni's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
352 Te Ngae Road, Lynmore, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand
Tried 3 times to contact before posting this review but since noone wanted to call me back, here I am. I ordered 2 gluten free pizzas (at an additonal $4 per pizza) equating to an overall order of just under $80. When I got home (I live 45 mins out of town) and opened the box, I realised we had been, what I can only assume, given childrens pizzas instead of family size. I tried to call and speak to someone, I was told "gluten free is smaller and also doesnt look pretty so thats why". These Pizzas were $30 each and were less than half the size of their regular pizzas. When i tried to explain this to the person on the phone, I was brushed off and told the manager would call me. Noone has since called me. I also emailed twice (with pictures) noone has responded.
We have been to Giovanni's a number of times and have never experienced such awful service, we are familiar with the regular size of their pizzas and were shocked that, you pay extra for gluten free bases to receive half a normal order.... A simple courtesy call back would have been sufficient to resolve the matter, but service doesn't seem to be that important to Giovanni's anymore.
