Service and quality of the food was excellent, however the increase in price since my last visit was a shock. Other restaurants on Dean Street and Grey Street charge around £12 for pizzas, Prima is now £18... and £5 extra for gluten free option is disappointing. I'll be looking at alternative restaurants next time.

Amazing service from Alex! 12 of us arrived for bottomless brunch at 7pm, we had a glass of prosecco when we arrived and an alcoholic slushie followed, while we looked at the menu. We then got to choose from a cocktail pitcher menu of 10 choices. (pitchers split between 2). We all ordered from the ‘bottomless’ pasta menu, there was an excellent choice of 9 pastas. They also catered for a coeliac in our group, with her own individual garlic bread and pasta options! Better than most restaurants! The bartender Alex brought out our cake for the bday girl and kept our drinks topped up the whole time! We all had a wonderful time! Only downside was the atmosphere but it was a Tuesday evening, so was expected! will definitely return!

Our waiter was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed; he was especially helpful when it came to splitting the bill. We had two gluten-free members of our party and they were equally satisfied with the service they received; the manager came out to speak to them personally before their meals were prepared. GLUTEN FREE REVIEW! Had a lovely gluten free Sunday lunch today. When we rang for the order, we were told I could be catered for with the exception of roasties and Yorkshire puds....that was fine. However, they called us back a few minutes later to say they would make separate gluten free roasties for me! This may seem like a small deal, but when you require gluten free (not a choice) it's hard to find places to eat, so the fact they did this went a long way for me! Thank you La Famiglia 😊

We were backpacking through England and we met with a friend and had my birthday dinner here at Avanti. We had lots of pasta dishes over our time in England, but nothing and I mean NOTHING has ever come close to how amazingly spectacular our food was here at Avanti. My sister and I are both Celiacs...so we were over joyed that Avanti offers gluten free pasta! The server, who I think was the owner, was so kind too, he helped me decide what to have...I ordered the Cremolini pasta dish. It was so delicious. It has been a couple months since our trip and I still think about that pasta regularly. I have tried to re-create it at home but have been unsuccessful. The flavours had such depth and richness. I've never had anything like it. So please, if you get the chance...visit Avanti. You won't regret it! 11/10 :)

Very nice gluten free food. THE best Gluten Free Garlic Bread with Cheese we have ever eaten. Absolutely perfect.
Only slight grumble is the lack of gluten free chips. I would happily drop an air fryer off just to make GF chips.
Staff are always lovely. Not the busiest place but maybe just the days we go as they're still going strong.

We were there early and plenty of room. I had delicious gluten free pasta. A real treat as not available every where.Pizza too looked excellent.
I go out of my way to get food from here. It is incredible, tasty, very authentic and delicious.
I try to eat gluten free and this is the only place I've ever found to indulge my love of Italian that doesn't taste like cardboard and cost an arm and a leg.
My only criticism is the take away fork - some cruel torture to try to eat this amazing food with one of them. They're not up to the job.
