We have visited Rocco's every year, typically multiple times, that we have visited AZ and thought the pizza was very good. This year was disappointing. My wife's gluten free had a less than satisfactory taste, my regular crust pepperoni/bacon was ok my not up to prior years' experiences. I doubt we will return in the future.

NOT GLUTEN-FREE FRIENDLY. DON’T EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC DISEASE. They charged an extra $7 for a gluten free crust and cross contaminated my food anyway. I’ve been super sick since I ate there. Avoid this place if you have celiac disease.

I had their gluten free lasagna tonight and it was amazing, best I've had anywhere. I'm a Seattle foodie and this place ranks up there with my all-time favorite Italian restaurants. Be sure to try a dish with their home made hot sausage. The pasta is always perfectly done, and they give generous portions which I really appreciate. Good value for money which is a rare thing these days.

Wow. I was so excited to try Vero Amore. I was astounded by how much our server hates gluten free and was completely unwilling to even discuss options. I asked about sauces for the pasta and she said, “I don’t know what you are allergic to, the description on the menu tells you what is in it” I wound up with gf penne with crushed tomato sauce and baked chicken. I was told I couldn’t have any cheese as it all had gluten. She was aggressively unwilling to help to the point I had to ask for her to get someone else to help me. I didn’t choose to have celiac disease and I know it can be hard for restaurants. I try to ask reasonable questions to stay safe and have never encountered this level of unwillingness to even try to accommodate. I thought going to a local restaurant with gluten free options on the menu would be fun and it turned out to be embarrassing and uncomfortable for our entire party in a way that I have never experienced. I gave one stars because I didn’t get sick. It was flavorless food and the worst service I have ever experienced. Don’t go here.
Actually, the bar tender was really nice and the drinks were great. The GM was also really nice when we talked with him before our meal.
Ideal for Friday nightlife vibes with cool bands serenading you and their sangria is a hit!

I came for dinner on Saturday and was sorely disappointed. I ordered a vegan gluten-free pizza with no cheese. A pizza arrived with cheese. Not the end of the world. However, the person who delivered the pizza promptly hurried away without even asking if it was okay, so I waited almost 10 minutes for the server to return. She seemed very busy with outside tables as we barely saw her during the visit. She took the pizza back to be remade and it took almost 15 minutes to be finished. No one checked in or apologized for the order being mixed up.
Once the new pizza was dropped off, I was disappointed. Each slice has maybe 2-3 (tiny) vegetables total and it didn’t even have tomato sauce to completely cover the pie. I asked the server for salt because I thought that the pizza might be saved with it. She never brought it around, and spent almost 15 minutes speaking to the table next to us while ignoring our needs. We aren’t difficult customers and like to occasionally treat ourselves. But paying full-price for a pizza that came barely covered after it was messed up is not good. I am not one to complain as I worked for years in the industry but this was by far the worst $50 I’ve spent in a long time. Even worse, is I am pretty sure the remake had gluten in the crust as I got ill that night and never do otherwise.
Expect tasty Italian dishes with a cozy vibe, where pizza slices are gigantic and homemade sausage steals the show!

Gluten free ravioli! And it was yummy. For lunchtime it was pretty dark inside. Our server is a sweet girl. She did a great job with our party. Affordable.

We love going to Sauce. They have gluten free pasta. If you like a little kick, try the spicy sausage pasta. If you prefer no heat, the cheesy chicken broccoli pasta is the bomb.
Delicious pizzas with a unique thin crust and custom toppings, plus a range of tasty house-made dressings make this spot a must-try!

I was traveling and really wanted pizza, however being gluten free with a tomato allergy, it isn't always easy. Bear Canyon was within walking distance of where I was staying and I could not have made a better choice!
Matt S. was incredibly friendly, understanding and helpful. He helped me order the perfect pizza and oh my goodness, it was delicious! The best gluten free pizza I have had. I wish I didn't live so far away, I would be there all the time.
Hosted our company's Holiday party in the inside portion of the beer garden. Service, food, and drinks were incredible! Great gluten free and vegan options. Amazing and reasonably priced, beer, wine, and cocktails.

We went with 3 adults and 2 kids.
1 adult ordered the Italian beef dip, gluten free bread and went over allergies with the waitress. This adult didn't eat the food. For one the salad came with cheese and vinegar dressing, two of the allergies noted. They also didn't eat the sandwich they mentioned the meat and dip both tasted off.
1 adult got the chicken mozzarella panini and also mentioned the chips were plan and the aoli was weird.
My family and I went to have a nice meal at dinner time on Sunday. First of all, we waited a very long time to get our order and order to the chef. I have to order a gluten-free meal. They were out of gluten-free noodles. Which was OK. I substituted it for spaghetti squash. My husband, he had a salad that was supposed to have bacon in it. There was no bacon in it. And a glass of wine is normally $18 but Sundays are happy hour ,so the glass of wine was $14. I knew all this . anyway I think it’s pretty pricey , I was disappointed . Unfortunately, we are not going to Zona 78 Italian restaurant!

Best pizza in Tucson! Pizza is my favorite food, and this place sets the bar. The Barros Special and Mega Meat are my favorite. The crust is crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, and the toppings are flavorful. Certain family members can't do gluten, but Barros has them covered with their delicious gluten-free crust. Pair that with hot wings, and you are all set. This is our go-to for special occasions because the service is great, the food is amazing and everyone we bring here loves it!! You won't be disappointed.

The service and atmosphere were nice. The food, however, was lacking. First off, I got the minestrone soup, but instead of having pasta in it it has potatoes. There were also very few other vegetables. I'm used to minestrone soup being loaded with vegetables and pasta. The broth was ok, but there was little substance other than the potatoes. My friend got a salad and that was really good. The house salad with the old Italian dressing. Definitely a good salad. I got the chicken piccata for dinner and my friend got the chicken parmigiana with gluten free noodles. The piccata sauce was brown.. couldn't find the capers and only had a hint of lemon. It was not at all what I expected. Also, I was asked if I wanted the red sauce on the noodles instead of the piccata sauce, which was very weird to me. My friends gluten free noodles were sticky and had little flavor. The red sauce of the parmigiana was very acidic. The portions were very large. All in all the food was disappointing, I would not recommend and we will certainly not be going back.

I've eaten their gluten free pizza many times and always enjoyed. This was the first time I did a delivery. The pizza was cold and stuck to the cardboard. Basically unedable. Lesson learned. Why they didn't have wax paper under the pizza is beyond me.

The food was good and our server was nice, but North is lacking in accommodating allergies or labeling the menu. We have a dairy and gluten intolerance and our sever told us “there is bread crumbs on everything” even though we reviewed the menu ahead of time and there were many GF subs (noodles & pizza crust). Similarly with dairy, many things had dairy that were not identified in the menu so after ordering we were not able to eat them. Unfortunately we won’t be able to dine here again.

My wife is Celiac and we have eaten here multiple times without issue, subbing the pasta with GF, and notifying the staff. That's a win for us! Plus, the food is great here too, we love the Sonoran twist on everything. It seems they keep shortening the menu unfortunately, but at least the food is good, especially the Birria pizza.
Charming ambiance with a lovely courtyard, generous portions, and delicious desserts make it a go-to spot for special occasions or a cozy night out.

The vegan Bolognese was one of the best pastas I've ever had. The server informed me that they have a few off-menu vegan selections that are more veggie-based, so be sure to ask about those if you aren't a pasta person. They also have a gluten-free pasta if you are gluten-sensitive. The portion sizes are very generous. Maybe consider sharing a dish if you want to save a room for dessert 😉
I would love to give a 5 star to Matt Pattell and his staff! I ordered the Chicken pasta gluten-free with extra cheese delicious and it was made fresh Thank you guys

This is definitely a hidden gem you need to visit! They have a very large selection of Italian entrees, desserts, and everything in between imported from Italy, of course. They also feature vegetarian and gluten-free entrees like lasagna, and more. They also have imported snacks, oils, pasta, sauces etc.
Roma Imports also has a dining room with an absolutely delicious menu to dine in or take away. They all were wearing masks and are on top of Covid protocols (if you’re sick, plz order curbside and not dine in etc). The staff was very professional and polite. I highly recommend and we definitely are going back.

This is a very interesting restaurant. The gluten free pasta was not the best for the price. But I must say the ambiance was nice but the service was erratic.
Had the shrimp picatta. They made it gluten free for me. It was delicious. I sometimes struggle when my family wants to eat Italian. Would totally recommend.
Chill vibes and a cozy atmosphere make this spot a favorite, with efficient service and surprisingly generous portion sizes.

This was our third time here, stopping for lunch. Upon entering we were greeted and told to choose a seat wherever we wanted. Only one waitress, Jules, on duty who promptly took our drink orders. She juggled all tables efficiently, and took our food order in a satisfactory amount of time. My wife had the gluten free vegetable pizza which she said was good. I had the lunch special, half Raspberry Salad and pepperoni/bacon pizza. I was surprised at the ample sized salad which was excellent, and it could have been a light meal by itself.
We were a large group but the waitstaff were excellent.
I am celiac so have to eat gluten free. The owned of the resturant came and tailored the item I wanted to my special need.
The only draw back is parking. Their lot is very small. Thank you Trattoria Pina.
The service at this location is always super helpful and extremely friendly! The new gluten free crusty is really good. The crew is what makes it such a great place!
Staff is attentive to allergy needs. Gluten free pizza crust was just okay. Ordered Italian sausage, fresh basil, smoked mozzarella and wild mushrooms. Didn't see or taste any sausage, basil was minimal, good amount of mozzarella and mushrooms were abundant.
With a unique pizza bar experience and a peek into the creative process, this spot is a must-visit for an engaging meal adventure.

Yes they have a pizza oven, but even so the pizza I had was awful. Daughter had a regular pepperoni pizza it didnt look great, but looked MUCH better then the gluten-free pepperoni i had. Tiny little pepperoni's (& not many of them), poor quality cheese. Tasted like a very cheap frozen pizza-- but cost a lot more. Daughter said hers wasn't good but she was glad she wasnt eating mine!
My pizzas were made so fast and they were good, despite an error with one topping. The gluten-free crust is really good and bakes up really well! I was very happy that it came in medium, rather than small as with other pizza places.

First time visit and we were very pleased! Yes, it was a Tuesday night, so it helps that the wine promotion is that night and makes this place even more likable, but I would have loved the food on any night of the week. I have to say, I was not expecting SUCH a delicious piccata. I substituted the chicken (DELICIOUS red bird chicken, by the way) for the veal but that sauce was one of the best piccata preparations I’ve had ANYWHERE. And that includes New York City. And Boston. And Chicago. I’m just saying.
And the service was warm, friendly, and helpful. Added to the great food.
And they EASILY accommodated gluten-free diners, because my wife has a gluten allergy, and not only did they easily accommodate it, but I tasted her pasta dish and it was outstanding! And you usually end that sentence with “…for gluten-free pasta” but NOT in the case of Caffe Torino. Oro Valley. Our server, Maggie, was really great. Quick to acknowledge, warm greeting, helpful menu navigation, friendly personality, checked on us periodically.
So it was a lot of fun and we’d definitely do it again!
Quick service and a standout dish with fresh ground pepper that everyone raves about makes this spot a must-visit for a delightful experience.

I'm pretty upset. I spent over an hour looking for gluten free food and found this pasta with good reviews. The two dishes I got really weren't great, but more than that, I ordered Fettuccine with the chicken and asked if it was breaded.
Girl went to ask manager and said if was breaded but they could do it not. Then confirmed my order back to me.
Got back to the hotel (after driving for hours today and not being able to stop to have real food) to two tomato based dishes, so I will have 8 month pregnant acid reflux all night and got to pay $40 for subpar, unseasoned pasta and NOT EVEN WHAT I ORDERED. And they wouldn't give me a side substitute like a salad even though we couldn't eat any of the bread that comes with it. An absolute waste of time and money.
Enjoy delicious pasta with unique flavors and a cozy vibe, perfect for a satisfying meal experience.

Food was great. Picked up and drove home and it was still warm when I got home. The wait time of 30 mins was spot on. Service was friendly but seemed disorganized. Wrong Name was on order so it took a few mins to find my food. Easy mistake to make but even easier to fix before hanging up the phone. Order was done well. Wish I was offered the fresh Parmesan cheese to enhance the pasta. Will recommend and come again. Gluten free options are very tasty here.
