i've been quite a few times but last night went with my family after my sister's graduation. i have celiac and our server (taylor i believe?) was superrrr informative and made sure i had all the info to decide what i wanted to eat & stay away from! clearly there's some really good server training going on.
food was delicious as always and we had a great time :)
I’m gluten-free. Even though I’ve had the gluten-free pasta at this restaurant before, I was not in the mood for pasta. I understand that this restaurant has a lot of pasta options, but there are other options as well. For my meal, I asked for asparagus and lobster on top of mashed potatoes. When my meal came out, the lobster and asparagus was on top of pasta. I explicitly. stated that I did not want pasta. Despite this, I was asked if I wanted to keep the meal or wait for it to be remade. I chose to have it remade while I watched my husband eat his dish. Once the dish was corrected, I did enjoy it. However, I do wish this restaurant had more gluten-free options.
Amazing atmosphere with unique and stunning surrounds! Old shoe factory reclaimed for a great restaurant. Aside from the architectural feast, the food and service are outstanding!! Ordered the Jumbo Lobster and Crab Ravioli and ordered the zero-proof Tropical Dreamsicle. Delicious!! They were accommodating to both gluten allergies (I don't have) but also offer smaller portion menus for any anyone like seniors, kids, or bariatric patients with NO HASSLE!
They handle Celiac well and this is the main reason we go. Last visit, our gluten deep dish pizza was raw. Not real other way to describe it. Dough could pe easily scraped off and tasted like raw biscuit dough. No problem, mistakes happen.
They bake another and it is exactly the same. Server said the manager said if I complain again that it is the cheese. I know raw dough from cheese. This means the manager didn't bother to look at the returned pie. The center was barely warm.
I suggested that they might be cooking at too high a temp and looking at the top for doneness. The server mentioned that the HAD been having some oven issues. 🤷
Two fails here: doing the same thing twice a d expecting different results (definition of insanity) and the lack of actual managing by the manager and checking out the problem.
Now I get to try to pan fry the bottom cooked in a gluten free kitchen without contaminating anything. Lovely. I had hoped to just eat a good pizza out, but left still hungry.
The block this pizza place is on its wonderful. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, and this was the first pizza place she's been able to eat at for quite some time. She was thrilled to find it, and the pizza was excellent.
Do not get the gluten free option pizza unless you like mush. Bleeehck. In the garbage for us. Campfire is normally out go to, but thought we'd try something different, but my son and I both hated it in this version. Tempted to request a refund....THAT BAD. Preparing an early dinner for us now. Lemon chicken for the win.
I will say that everything else we've had there was delicious 😋
If you are in town and want a great pizza, this is the place. If you have a gluten allergy, they have gluten free pizza and keep it completely separate.

Amazing dinner! Wait staff was so thoughtful and friendly. Our entire party enjoyed our meal. As someone with celiac, they were happy to oblige my dietary needs. For an Italian restaurant, I was so pleasantly surprised with all of the gluten free food options. The patio was also beautiful! I will 100% be back! Wonderful experience!
I absolutely appreciated all the gluten free options and they tasted just as good as my boyfriends gluteness noodles. We had leftovers because portions were great sized and we ate those leftovers so fast because the food was that good! They have a fantastic menu that sticks to the Italian niche and that's why everything tasted perfect. They have mastered their food craft. Service was excellent! Jordan was so sweet, knowledgeable, bubbly and made our date night experience there THAT much better. I highly recommend trying this spot out, it's an Indianapolis staple. Ask for Jordan, she's the best waitress and manager! Make a reservation as well.

Very impressed! The staff took a lot of time with my son and I to clarify and understand our food allergies and the options we could eat. (He has a dairy allergy and I have gluten allergy)
They make their GF calzone crust in house. It came out quickly, had really good appearance, color, and flavor. And the portions are huge.
The only downside I would say is a common thing at restaurants. They upcharge for allergy friendly/dietary adjustments. Add $4 for the GF crust. Dairy free cheese was an extra $1.50 with no credit for leaving off 3 kinds of regular cheeses. *Typical thing, just annoying for all of us who live in the world of upcharges.
Obsessed with this place! They are great at catering to my gluten-free needs and have lots of delicious dairy-free options as well. I highly recommend trying their pizza.
This is a very nice upscale restaurant, featuring Italian cuisine. There are several menu items suitable for people with gluten sensitivity. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I really enjoyed the cheesey gluten free “flatbread” that came with the goats cheese app, but the margarita and holliday pizzas were probably better on a gluten crust. the hamakers is probably good on both types of dough bc the topping combo is delicious. was a little busy outside, but waiter didn’t come speak with us very often (group of 4) on a Monday night. i had a great glass of white wine and the lighting inside is very nice.
Vicino it's a lovely little bright spot offering a host of gluten free options. So glad to have found this gem. Was a quick walk from central downtown, around the Circle and into this sweet little area filled with bars and lovely upscale condos and apartments.
Told them I had a gluten allergy. Asked for gluten noodle and sauce. Was told the Alfredo was gluten free. Started eating, started having an allergic reaction. Not fun.
One of the few places I can dine confidently (Celiac). Staff is great and knowledgeable about gluten-free options and avoidance of cross contaimination. Bethany has taken care of us a couple of times and is super helpful. Food is always delicious. (Allow ample time to find parking.)
What a wonderful find while in Indiana! As a celiac, I was delighted to be able to enjoy so many wonderful options. My mom and I split the Eggplant Parmesan appetizer, the pizza and a FABULOUS cheesy pasta dish. Everything was amazing. And to top it off, we had the most helpful and kind hostess. Would definitely recommend.
Food and service were outstanding! Meals can be customized to your heart's content. Plenty of gluten free options. Price was a little higher, but taste and service made it worth it. Deserts look great but didn't have any room left for them. Plates were very filling.
Ate lunch at this Fazoli’s location. We have eaten at many Fazoli’s do the fact that they have allergy and gluten free options and this was a wonderful experience. Staff advised us how to get discounts, food was out super quickly, tasted delicious, and just wonderful service. Highly recommend this Fazoli’s location!
Baked lasagna was delicious. They have gluten-free penne pasta, which suited my husband with the chicken parm that was a very large serving. Salmon was cooked perfectly. I would not recommend the braised short ribs with gnocchi. Our serving was half of the picture presented. Overly attentive wait staff. Great choice!
The service is good, but being GF the options are extremely limited. Most of Olive Garden’s food and sauces are premade and shipped so they have FEW options for gluten free. A very limited menu (including about 4 items). Wish the menu was more extensive!
A long-standing family favorite is, for me, even better with gluten-free cauliflower crust available for my dietary needs.
The Geist location is friendly, quick and convenient, even durring busy times. The take out is always hot and ready when promised. Extra cheese makes a good pizza even better!
