The wine and dessert (cannoli) were great, but the entrees were pretty bad. We got the chicken milanese and it was some of the most overcooked chicken we have ever had. The gluten free pasta and sauce were mediocre at best. Not happy with the food, but service was nice and it was a pleasant environment. The water had a very bad after taste also, would not drink.

I’ve come to Plant City several times- but my most recent experience was just incredible and has prompted me to write a review. I got the T-BLAT (blt with shiitake mushroom bacon) on gluten free bread and my, my it was DIVINE! The bread was so good for being gluten free and the filling was decadent, nicely filled with lettuce, and a nice balance of spice, saltiness and creaminess from the chipotle mayo and avocado. I highly recommend. They also have a wide variety of hot/iced drinks, as well as a to go food counter with food like sushi and noodles, and many gluten free pastries. I also really love their grocery section with many high quality plant based foods and other snacks. The cafe itself is also just very relaxing and nice with lots of natural light and comfortable seating. I LOVE plant city!

Our favorite restaurant in Narragansett. My kids love coming to "Turtle Joe's". There is only one four-top in the bar area and luckily the last two times we've been, the table has been available. Delicious food, a great selection of gluten free options, good service, yummy drinks, and all for a very affordable price.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with standout drinks and impressive options, perfect for a casual yet elevated dining experience.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Rhode Island! The atmosphere and food are both amazing. I got the bolognese and haven’t had one that good in a while. My mother is also gluten free and we all agreed her food was amazing (she got short ribs). They even brought out gf bread for her that was so warm and fluffy. Also had the blood orange martini and chocolate espresso martini which were both 10/10! Will be back soon

If you are looking for the best place to get seafood then I can’t recommend Jimmy’s enough! They now have 2 gluten free fryers and can do fish and scallops and clams. Their French fries are done in the gluten free fryer as well. However, if you like lobster 🦞 their lazy man lobster is the best I’ve ever had.
Nestled in a stunning location, this place offers an impressive atmosphere and exceptional service, making it a must-visit for a perfect dining experience.

Hi had the pleasure of having Hernan serve my friend and I last night! He was very knowledgeable about the menu. My friend had gluten allergies and Hernan was very helpful . Thank you for your great service!
This spot is a hidden gem with amazing dishes, though the decor could use a little upgrade to match the delicious experience.

The food here is out of this world. It is simply delicious, they are accommodating of Gluten allergies and have so many GF options. I ordered the baked penne and it was so delicious. Dont let location throw you off this place is a hidden gem. I order lunch from here for work alot and sometimes dine in at night. The decor feels a little bit tacky and I feel that improving this would put this place on a luxury dining list.
Our server from 12/27/2024 was good overall. Half of the missing star would be because when I told her I had a gluten allergy she acted like it was an inconvenience saying "yep" and being some what short with me. She dropped the gluten free menu in front of me without saying anything. And when I ordered she didn't say anything to confirm she had my order. Just not the right energy with her. So that's half a star and the decor was the other half.
Food 100/100
Service 85/100
Atmosphere/decor: 90/100

Ordered a take out order for my girlfriend and I. I ended up messing up the order and went to the restaurant and ordered what I was supposed to. I talked to Jordyn and told them I messed up my pregnant girlfriend’s order. They put a rush on the 2nd order and they took great care of us. Food was delicious, we got the gluten free chicken Alfredo and gluten free chicken parm. Will 100% be back.
Great vibe with generous portions and a fantastic drink menu that keeps everyone coming back for more fun times!

This was my first time here. The food was great with very reasonable portions for the price. Staff was friendly and on point. Some gluten free options. I will be coming back!
Luigi's food game is on point when scouting out good restaurant recruits in the Johnston area. It takes up enough of a strip mall to give it some gravitas, but doesn't have the feel of comparable food places. You got a take-out deli with standup tables, and a restaurant that you'd be 'gagootz' to miss. (That's slang for 'crazy in the head.')
Their Amalfi Coast menu in the restaurant section has indicators of what is gluten-free and has nutritional stats on the food.
They have a surf-and-turf that beats a lot of the downtown Providence prices. Their plates will have you bringing a doggie bag home, unless you have two stomachs.
Overall, Luigi's is a wonderful experience. Check this out if your traveling down the I-295 or Route 6 corridor.

Fantastic late night dinner! We walked in at 9:10pm and were greeted with enthusiasm. How refreshing to see an establishment that closes at 9:30pm, happily welcome us at such a late hour! Our server was pleasant and attentive. The menu had a great selection of specialty pizzas as well as pasta dishes. We ordered and promptly received 3 pizzas, one gluten free pizza and, one chicken Alfredo pasta dish. Everything was well done and delicious. At the end of dinner, we were unexpectedly presented us with the most mouth watering dessert pizza! After a cold, rainy evening of soccer, we couldn’t thank you enough for the delicious food and hospitality! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend visiting MidiCi!

Folks who deliver through a service need to stop blaming Francesco’s for the temperature of the pizza. They are not responsible for the timing of deliveries—the app you choose makes that determination. Now, that being said, this is a real family owned Italian American corner pizza place just like you’d find in NYC or Brooklyn. Mom, son, wife, they all take part. The pizza sauce is homemade, tangy and bright like a New York slice with a thin crisp crust that has a nice crusty bread taste. YES—they have vegan cheese! YES—they have gluten free pizza. I suggest stopping in for a slice—no tables inside but there are benches on the sidewalk. Otherwise order a pizza to go and pick it up yourself, and say hi to the folks who work there. Small businesses like this are one of the last places we can really build a sense of community and support—a place like this has honest prices and good food (I have to try the homemade meatballs!) and is worthy of the community gathering around to support them! Lauren was our server and literally the best. My friend had a gluten allergy and Lauren literally went thru the menu to reassure my friend of the dishes without gluten. The staff seemed very attentive throughout the whole dining experience too.
One of my family members has a gluten allergy so I've had gluten free pasta before but this was really great and the bechamel sauce hit the spot. They even had a gluten free cake that we tried and it was incredible. It didn't fall apart or crumble which was surprising.
Last time I went, I got the carbonara which was incredible. This time, I switched it up and I got the bologanese, these people don't miss at all.
Solid wine prices with the classic italian reds and good variety on the drink menu. They even an interesting mocktail menu that you can add booze if you want to make it a cocktail.
This place is so much more than just another italian restaurant.

My wife has to eat gluten free, so as I sometimes have a few bites of her food to polish it off, I get to taste a lot of GF vs normal crusts. This is, to date, the closest I have ever tasted to the two being the same out of a pizzeria. Not to mention the incredible taste without feeling like a ton of bricks after. If you’re on Block Island and like pizza, give this a shot.

I’m giving Piemontes 5 stars because their pizza is fantastic. BUT….Piemonte’s…. Cmon… I ordered a gluten free pizza (margarita) and you put this HORRIBLE looking basil in my box, you didn’t even put it in my pizza, which also came cold as ice. Do better next time with Gluten free pizza.
'We will make it gluten free for you if at all possible.' This was one our waiter's first lines. Yay!! Awesome food. Great atmosphere. Easy parking and valet.

I’m not sure why the rating average is barely above a 4. I have eaten in and taken out many times. The Al taglio pizzas are so good and my mom who can’t have gluten asks me to bring her GF pizzas from Federal Hill to NY. The entrees are also delicious (especially the meatballs) and the staff is very kind. Give it a shot.

I gave such a good review last time. the food was good, but they accidentally put red sauce on my gluten free pasta when I haf asked to have it mixed with my chicken saltimbocca. When she brought fresh pasta right away. I asked if it was gluten free and said yes, but two days later and I am still swollen and aching. This will cause me problems for a long time so I won't be eating there again

We held our son’s baptism reception at Siena East Greenwich two weeks ago. Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Kim, the events coordinator was receptive from the very start and accommodating to all of our needs including guests with gluten allergies. The atmosphere, service and food was beyond excellent. I would not hesitant to hold another event there!
Was a nice restaurant and they did have several gluten free options available. The gluten free pasta tastes amazing. I would have given 5 stars but when I ordered my meal it had an option to add shrimp for an additional charge. The waitress informed me it was an additional 14.99 to add shrimp to a $12.95 meal which I thought was very ridiculous seeing as I could just order another entire meal for the price of 5-6 PCs of shrimp.
A go-to hangout with a diverse menu and great drinks, this spot promises a fun vibe that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Absolutely LOVE this place and the staff! So friendly and the food is awesome! Something for everyone as far as menu choices...Never disappoints.
Tough for me to eat out as a celiac, but no worries here. The Gluten Free options are safe for celiacs for sure! Yummy drinks too!
Bellini, great atmosphere, great food, if you don’t have allergies. My friends and I went there for a birthday dinner, and my friend has celiac (she cannot have gluten). We were very clear with our waitress she had this severe food allergy, and when asked about the gluten free option our waitress said the was gluten free spaghetti. But when asked about the tortellini (spinach and feta), our waitress said they could make them gluten free.
When we got home, my friend started throwing up and getting very sick. At first we thought it was cross-contamination, so I called the restaurant. When I asked the man at the phone, he had said that was not the case and they cannot make the tortalini gluten free. He had asked for who served us, but we did not remember her name, just the area we were in. He had said she has been there for a long time now and there was “miscommunication”. I am not sure how stating someone (and who) has celiac that could’ve been lost in translation.
Hopefully this does not happen to anyone else.

My wife and I came to eat in and got pizzas with 2 friends who had been here before after visiting Brenton point state park. I must say all 4 of us loved the dough. Thin yet very chewy and delicious. Sause was excellent and my wife was pleased that they had gluten free pizza. This is a great pizza place.
Portifinos has been around forever. Elizabeth now owns it. Always had a good experience there. They are able to accommodate those with celiac disease which is nice for those people (never tried their gluten free offerings). It’s a solid and consistent Italian restaurant the food is very good as for service I mostly sit at the bar and no problems there but I can’t speak for a sit down experience. They are good for parties as well.
