TLDR: amazing service, quality food with good portions, well trained staff, able to accommodate many dietary requirements and accommodate different budgets. - - - - My most recent visit was my fourth time dining at Chin Chin, this time it was with work colleagues for a Christmas lunch. The food was delicious as per usual, and it is worth noting that despite the fact that the restaurant was absolutely packed and insanely busy, all of our dietary requirements were met without fail (lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance). In terms of cuisine you wont find anything “traditional” at Chin Chin, it is Asian fusion at its finest, but everything is well thought out, well balanced and also fun. The service was excellent with the staff explaining each dish, making sure our drinks were topped up, checking in with us in between courses and even taking the time to have a quick chat with our table. Additionally when I passed by the kitchen it was very clear that they had their communication locked down. Always a pleasure to dine here.

Fantastic all round. We didn't have a booking but the staff made room for us. Amazing food, great service and good pricing. My partner is celioac and they brought her a specialised menu and made everything she wanted completely gluten free. They even used a separate fryer for the chicken. Can recommend the feed me option.

This cafe is a hidden gem! With an impressive selection of Gluten Free (GF) and Vegan Options (VGO), it caters to a wide range of dietary needs. The charming setting offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for any occasion. The Padre coffee is exceptional, and the breakfast and lunch menu is solid, featuring a delightful array of bagels, including GF options. The American-style menu is a treat, and we were thrilled with the delicious brisket and asparagus. Plus, the staff was accommodating, allowing us to customise our sides to perfection. House made soda was amazing. I had pineapple and lime. The corn on the cob was very nice. Good spices. I had gluten free and vegan burrito. I've never been able to order that at a restaurant. It was fresh and tasty. It had mushrooms and spinach in it. Very interesting flavours. Only bad thing about the place is that you have to go up stairs to get to the restaurant, but that's not their fault. Very busy place. Loved it.

It's nice enough, though very crowded with the seating. I'm Coeliac and I only had 1 Entree option, 2 Main options and 1 desert option. I picked the Dahl, but to be honest, no better than what I get locally and far more expensive. Not somewhere I would pick.

Love this place & all the SanTelmo Group restaurants! Having moved from Bondi we are always looking for fresh, bright food with the emphasis on fresh vegetables & protein rather than carb heavy meals. The experience was made even better by HENRY our waiter. A good waiter can make or break an experience, HENRY was not just good, he was BRILLIANT! Knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive especially with regards to checking Gluten free options/ modifications. THANK YOU

Recently went here with some friends thinking that as I’m gluten and dairy free, I would struggle to find something to eat. To my surprise and delight, they have gluten free pasta and could easily accommodate dairy free! So nice to be able to get an italian meal with friends and the food was amazing and soo quick! Also the BYO is so handy and service was great Def make a booking because it was packed!

The restaurant is cozy and the service is great, making for a really nice time. They have traditional Cantonese dishes and some special ones too, like steamed fish, lobster with noodles, and crispy roasted pork. The chicken soup is really good too. The food is made really well with just the right amount of seasoning, so you can taste all the different flavors. The staff is super friendly and helpful, whether you're ordering or eating. They're always there to make sure you have a good time. Oh, and they have gluten-free options too. I highly recommend this place for groups.

Another great cumulus experience. The food was delicious and service 5 stars. Many gluten free options including the lamb shoulders, Ortiz anchovies with gluten free bread. Their tasting menu is highly recommended so that you can taste a bit of everything. Booking in advance is critical as they are always busy.

I have coeliac disease and the restaurant catered to my dietary needs so well & made me feel very comfortable- Our waitress, Sarah, was so lovely & accomodating especially. Officially my favourite Grill'd restaurant after my experience tonight. To the lovely gentlemen who took my order, you are a genuine asset to Grill'd. The girls are honestly the sweetest. Thank you for always going above and beyond. Clean, quiet, super friendly customer service, ample seating including outside and upstairs. Only downside is parking is limited but that's a City Of Melbourne, not a Grill'd problem. Caters to vegans, vegetarians and low gluten customers. Very highly recommend.
