It's great that we didn't have to book a table. In this chain, it's often possible to come without a reservation. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the music is not loud. You can easily communicate. I ordered via QR code, for some reason I waited 30 minutes. I ordered poached eggs with salmon. Delicious. I enjoyed it. There is a Gluten Free menu,

Really impressed by the gluten-free ( gf, celiac ) offerings here - they have a whole separate menu and take cross-contamination seriously, which is a huge plus. We loved the shake tataki (super flavorful), the GF tuna tartare bites (a favorite - the lotus chip makes it), and the shake aioli roll. The beef tataki was solid, and while the cauliflower was just okay, it worked as a side. I appreciated the flexibility of ordering either preset menus or à la carte, which makes it easy to tailor your meal. The major downside was the cocktails - I tried two (the hibiscus margarita with less sugar and the seasonal Yuzu gin) and both were overly sweet and unbalanced. Definitely skip the drinks and stick with the food. Service was hit or miss — it really depended on who you got. Our first server was inattentive and clearly not thrilled to be there, which dampened the vibe. But once we had a more engaged server, the experience turned around. Great for gluten-free sushi lovers, but skip the bar and hope you get a good server.

Coeliac Review: The GFC nuggets are AMAZING. The fries are also GF and so good. Only downside is they shut their toilets around 18:30pm which is annoying if you’re eating in.

This is a lovely pub with a great view, food and staff - Astrid and Bianca were very helpful and kind to me and my aunty; she has a wheat and gluten allergy. They made sure that everything everything was going to eat was ok with her allergies. When there wasn't any gluten free brownie available they refunded me and offered us a drink. I would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

Best lentil/carrot/ginger loaf I've had! Big shout-out to the young foreign girl who took our order. She had the patience and consideration to ask about every detail pertaining to my condition (I'm coeliac). She really did go the extra mile to help. I'm truly sorry to say I've forgotten her name so I can thank her publicly, but if she's reading this, she knows 100% who I am ;-) Can I just say, my partner and I, have traveled extensively around your country (=Poland), from north to south - we always come back with treasured memories. Me and my girlfriend came here, she is gluten intolerant and it ended up taking around 10 minutes for the staff to even serve me as all i asked for were sweet potato fries i understand as allergies need to be checked although i gave the staff a specific instruction to bring all the food out together, they brought all the food out separately. The chicken was overdone and hard the fino pitta was obviously slung together and it was cold as was my girlfriends chicken which was also extremely rubbery snd difficult to cut overall the food took 30 minutes to come out. Not an enjoyable experience. and the tables we sat at outside had menus and napkins littered all over the floor. poor.

Sent a gluten containing pasta on a Deliveroo order , was ordered as a non gluten one!! Glad I know what it’s supposed to look like and didn’t eat it or I would’ve been horribly sick!!!!!

Super cute board game cafe near Kew Garden! Huge selection of thoughtfully sorted board games (number of players, difficulty, style, and tone). Extensive menu that's clearly labeled for gluten free/veg/etc. The proprietor was incredibly helpful and very aware of allergies, including awareness of gluten in a condiment! Also helpfully explained rules to us for a new game. Cannot recommend more!

Second time visiting Cocotte Richmond; first time was great, second time also great. Menu is chicken, steak and burgers, so if that’s your sort of thing, give it a try! Burgers can be ordered to be cooked as you like, e.g. medium rare for mine. Sign of freshness. They can also be done gluten free. We ordered two glasses of wine, and they were a bit off their best. No questions asked, the staff open a new bottle for us. Much better.

An absolute gem of a place. About 10 mins walk from Kew Gardens. I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons and the staff were amazing at making sure i had an enjoyable tasty meal. Thank you to everyone, front of house and in the kitchen. Fantastic meal followed by a walk round the Christmas lights at Kew. A perfect evening. 💕

Very busy place with the most epic garden. The server was so friendly and patient with us ordering food with allergies. Chicken salad & fish & chips were both so great and even better they could offer it gluten free. The service was just amazing with the recommendations and would highly recommend the Deya gluten free beer was delicious. Very dog friendly and seeing Zeus was just a bonus to our visit. They were superb at dealing with our rather awkward allergy requirements (two coeliacs; one with a nut allergy) and were very helpful with suggesting dishes for an eleven year old who thought she hated curries... she thought the food was delicious and is now converted! The food is absolutely amazing!! I just warn anyone gluten free to not risk it. I went for my birthday and told my server before each dish I had an allergy, and was told it was fine, but by desert, I was served a dish I was told was gluten free and when I was finishing eating it they ran over to tell me it had cookie crumbs on it, which has looked like almond crumbs because there were pieces of almond so I didn’t think anything of it because again I was told it was gluten free before I started eating..I had a stomach ache all evening which wasn’t ideal especially on my birthday. I would stay away if you are quite allergic. Besides the lacking in allergy training, the food was great, but I would just be cautious if you have an allergy. For management: please you should have an allergen binder and training for your staff if you are going to claim safe for allergies. There were items labeled gluten free on the menu, like poppadoms, that when I tried to order the staff said they sometimes have gluten, those should not be labeled gluten free. The ice cream I ordered which had cookies on it, was labeled gluten free on the menus and the server said it was fine, but the desert chef did not know what gluten free meant. There needs to be better training or don’t say you are safe for people with allergies. Also some of the plates were chipped which is not what you would expect from a high end restaurant.

Friendly cafe conveniently located close to Kew Gardens and the station. Delicious coffee (we tried latte and macchiato) - too delicious in fact, as we had to have seconds! The pistachio cannolo was a hit. We will be back [again!]. [Update following an Nth visit - Try the Torta di Nona or one of the sfogliatelle! And the hazelnut cannolo is as good as the pistachio one (we followed the barista's advice and went for the gluten-free versions of the cannolli]

Had a lovely evening with friends. Short walk from the Richmond Railway station. Has outside seating as well. Food was fresh and tasted very good with good presentation. Cocktails and wine were good as well as the desserts. Would have liked to see a gluten free dessert but at least there was a vegan one. Host was very warm and welcoming and graciously let us stay a little past the 2 hour mark after our server made it a point to remind us…our server seemed to be a little less than polite at times even though we were very polite and friendly with him. Overall good experience and service from the other staff was very good. Will be back.

FINALLY!!! MANAGED TO HAVE AN ICE CREAM ON A GLUTEN FREE CONE !! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I MUST SAY, THIS IS WHY RICHMOND IS OUR FAVOURITE MARKET TOWN, SO MANY GF OPTIONS AROUND THIS VILLAGE. AND WE HAVE FOUND THIS LITTLE GEM.!! CANT WAIT TO COME BACK.!!! 😋

What a lovely little gem! Found along a charming, cobblestone alleyway in Richmond, we were greeted with the warmest smile and enjoyed some of the best service to be found in London. I asked if there were any gluten free options and the gentleman went out of his way to put a platter together for me. It was absolutely scrumptious. We plan to come again in summer so that we can grab some things for a picnic for the park around the corner.
