EDIT: Just went again today (6/23/2025) and had a negative experience in the service department. Due to the plexiglass and loud environment they could not hear that I wanted a four, not a six and then acted like it was my fault that I was getting the wrong thing. It was only when I got to the protein selection and they asked "what would you like for your second protein?" that I realized it was not the correct thing as this was only my third time in. At that point the bowl consisted of 2 bases (included in both) and 2 veggies (the four would've just been 1 at this point) and then 1 protein, so basically the four with one extra veggie. Then they put it on me basically pressuring me into getting the larger meal (which I did not finish because it was way too much). Actually just such a negative experience, I'm not sure if I'll be back any time soon. For anyone else thinking of visiting be sure to bring a megaphone to ensure you're loud enough over the loud environment so you don't end up in the same predicament. For anyone wondering, my original review is below--it was 5 stars across the board, but now it's a 2 overall, 2 for service for obvious reasons, and a 2 for the atmosphere because of how loud it was which made it impossible to order and the fact that the air dryers in the bathroom are the worst hand dryers I've ever used--they would only stay on for maybe a second and then immediately turn off, and there were no paper towels as a different option. Original review: Went in for my second visit and it was just as good as the first. The concept is similar to a build your own sandwich or burrito bar, but for bowls featuring many different bases, proteins, toppings, and sauces. They have no gluten in any of their menu items and have pretty clean ingredients including using olive oil for all cooking, antibiotic and hormone free proteins, and no processed sugar unless otherwise indicated.

First time here 2.15.2025. Greeted by our server, Paige. She was good - did important things like keeping the water filled and involving Brandi the manager when we mentioned my wife had severe gluten allergy/must eat gluten free. The food and the atmosphere (sitting on the water with a nice breeze, waves crashing, and beautiful design aesthetics at the restaurant), literally couldn't have been better. For that I kind of understand why the food takes a while to come out (we were there about 30 mins before we received our apps) - it's an experience and you don't want to rush. At least I hope that is why it took so long. :) The price of the meal was expected since we had lobster, apps, crab cakes, and the wonderful location. We paid about $65/pp without alcohol and dessert. We will be back.

We visited Speaks Clam Bar for dinner at 5pm and were able to obtain bar seats without a wait. The bartenders provided attentive service, displaying notable friendliness and a commitment to excellence. The drinks were impressive. We chose the scallop special, which was decent but lacked distinction you would expect with a “special” dish. Due to my dietary limitations, including dairy and gluten intolerance, I experienced difficulties in finding a suitable menu option. However, the staff exhibited remarkable adaptability, accommodating a lunch menu item. The Mediterranean bowl was great!

Good coffee. I eat shrimp and grits everywhere it's served, but this was one of the best I've ever had! My wife had to confirm her pancakes were gluten-free because they were so good.

We love crop juice. Highly recommend the juice and smoothies. Good grab and go food if you are vegan or gluten free. The spicy queso dip is amazing. Lots of healthy sweet treats as well.

What an amazing find !! The burgers are absolutely delicious ! The menu is loaded with different types of burgers, including gluten free and vegan options. There are also other non burger options that are quite good. I highly recommend S.O.B. Burgers !!

Mia was an amazing server! I am gluten free, and it is always hard to try and find places that can accommodate, as I am from out of state. Oak and Stone in Bradenton did an amazing job at ensuring that my dining experience was excellent, and I was able to enjoy.. not worrying about dietary restrictions. Drinks were amazing, Mia gave amazing recommendations, and we will definitely be back.

Carrabba's Italian Grill is always a great place for dinner. The waiter was more than accommodating and was happy to suggest a plate or a substitution to accommodate my gluten allergy and vegan preference. My parents were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I personally would prefer to see a few more gluten free and vegan options. However the menu shall change or stay the same, I will always happily visit Carrabba's Italian Grill.

Excellent authentic German food! We’re always searching for German restaurants and this one is among the best! Fresh and tender Goulash and Sauerbraten with Roht Kohl and Spätlzle also excellent. Gluten free options are AMAZING and prepared in a separate pan to guarantee no issues.

I couldn’t find a place to eat on my last night in town, and this was recommended on a several year old Reddit thread (as all good things are.) I have NO notes. The host handled my complete butchering of the English language with grace, the server/bartender I had was an absolute sweetheart, and the woman who came out to talk to me about my gluten sensitivity (manager? owner?) was so passionate about the changes the restaurant has made; I’m blown away by the quality staff here! The food and drink is nothing to scoff at either. The drinks were perfectly made and came out quickly and presented well. They batter in rice flour, which is so crunchy and complimented the green tomatoes well. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked, and even I, an undisciplined goat cheese disliker, branched out and really enjoyed the light tang of the raspberry goat cheese! While I live too far away to go here often, this restaurant has given me an experience I’ve yet to find most other places.

My family recently moved into town and we went looking for a place to eat. We found a great restaurant with wonderful staff especially our waitress Sierra S. who was a great help in telling us all the specials and what she enjoyed on the menu. There wasn't anything we ordered that the table didn't enjoy. They also have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. My family plans to come back!

My daughter's and I just had the best meal tonight! It has been awhile since my girls have been able to eat pasta. Both have gluten intolerance. Sierra was friendly, kind and knowledgeable about all of the dishes. This was a fantastic way to start out vacation.

*Allergy Review* I have several food allergies (gluten, coconut, nuts, honey, mushrooms, cheese, and egg beaters), so eating out is usually stressful, but Carrabba’s took amazing care of me! Our server, ANDI, was fantastic. Even with a busy section and being one of only two servers, she was attentive, kind, and made sure my allergies were handled with care. She double-checked everything with the kitchen, and they were extremely cautious. I had the steak with gluten-free pasta and red sauce, steamed broccoli, and the Mandola Chicken Sicilian Soup (made gluten-free by removing the pasta). Everything was delicious and safe. Huge thanks to ANDI and the kitchen team for an excellent meal, I’ll definitely be back!

Went for trivia night and the service was amazing!! Our waitress Kate was fantastic very attentive and knowledgeable About menu items and went out of her way to find gluten free menu and double checked with the kitchen to make sure item were not cross contaminated.

Pretty good spot. We live just down the road and have been here a couple times They’re good happy hour deals and dinner prices are very fair Happy that they have low-carb and gluten-free options for my wife The margaritas are pretty good too. I am surprised. I had the birria taco plate Which actually had good flavor, and was done well. I love the pinto beans and the consommé very good. Yesterday I had the carne Asada plate Which was Not that great. It was OK. The steak was very plain and extremely thin. I’ve never had asade this way. It also had zero flavor. It should definitely come with a salsa and some limes, cilantro and onion. I asked for cilantro and onion on the side and I got some, but it definitely needs something else I’m not a fan of their table salsa, it is just puréed tomato. It has a little flavor, but I wish it was more chunky. The one thing that I do not like is the queso. It’s pretty horrible. It’s like a cup of milk. We will be back but hopefully they can improve a few things.
