Normally I love this place, but there are inconsistencies that I must point out. We normally always get a Veteran discount (I am a Veteran) and whatever discount is offered (free cheese bread, etc.).....last night the girl working the front counter would not allow us to use the 20% Veteran's discount. But this hasn't been an issue with prior visits.
The pizza itself is usually delicious. I, like many other reviewers, go here d/t the fact that they can make a gluten-free and dairy-free pizza. The quality of the pizza depends on the person making and cooking it. Some of the staff are on point and seem like they understand what's going on...while....some of the staff may seem like they could have received more training, or gumption from Grandpa.
Overall this place is good-- very disappointed that a discount that is normally honored was not. May not be going back because of this.
Southie has been my go to, whenever I'm in the mood for great coffee and one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches, muffins, etc..
Everyone that works there is super friendly!
Gluten free options as well!
Oh my God… Absolutely the most delicious gluten-free/dairy free pizza I have ever had. The buffalo mozzarella is to die for and cauliflower crust is the best gluten-free crust for pizza I have ever had. Each bite is a crispy bite and the flavors were stupendous.
The food here is always delicious. Servers are very nice and helpful. Food here usually takes a bit of time to get main course, I'm never in a hurry but for people that are be aware of this. If you have a gluten allergy, inform the server and they will advise what's safe and what they will alter during prep to keep gluten out.
Absolutely LOVE Chicken Salad Chick! This store has so many chicken salad flavors it's mind blowing. I love the healthy options. You can get it on wheat bread, on a croissant, on a salad or even just as a scoop with a side of crackers. The staff if very friendly and efficient. They do not have Gluten Free bread (but they need to add it to their menu) but the majority of the chicken salad flavors are gluten free. I often will get an extra scoop to take home to my husband who is gluten intolerant for him to try at home on gluten free bread. Our favorite flavor is "Kick'in Kaylynn". It is a great place for lunch to dine in or take out and I highly recommend them!
A typical pizza shop. The pizza was good but it wasn’t anything super special. They do make gluten free pizza which was nice. The service was nice and everyone was friendly. The bathrooms were decent but could be better. They did accommodate a large group of us on very short notice which was pretty awesome! Parking was difficult as there wasn’t much. Overall not a bad experience.
I was the only person in the store and the two people working asked me to wait so they could clean their equipment and make an online gluten free order. What has happened to our society? Online orders attended to first over in person?
Bread was stale and the chicken on my chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich was cold.
Lastly, I found a piece of plastic in my sandwich. I won’t go back.
We went to Outback a couple times recently. It was good, a solid 4. The service was decent, not great, which surprised me because our server was training someone. I feel like the restaurant lacks leadership. Like no one really cares about your dining experience just like they are robots doing a job. There are some decent specials but you get what you pay for, the portions and quality are lessened with the price. The Tuesday night special, which my son likes, 6oz sirloin and lobster tail for like $22 (4/24). The chocolate thunder dessert is really delicious and is actually gluten free!
I go to many Chipotles often, but this one was amazing with my gluten allergy. Julieta not only changed out her gloves but made sure that all the utensils used were freshly cleaned and that there was minimal cross-contamination with everything I put in my bowl.
Oh my gosh, I would give it 10 stars if I could! The food is absolutely incredible, so accommodating to gluten needs, the chef was outstanding, the music perfect, and the wine was awesome! it’s like going to Italy, without having to travel!
Georgia served us at the counter. She understood my wife's gluten allergy, and pledged to ensure precautions were taken in the semi-contaminated kitchen. She told us they would use new utensils and baking sheets when handling the pizza. The gluten free pizza is a standard 12". My wife got the Hawaiian. I tried it. It was one of the best gluten free pizza's I've ever had. The pineapple was very fresh. My wife loved it also. Our friend and myself also tried the Hot Italian sub. DAMN. That was splendid. This may be a weekly home. And we hope Georgia is there every time. Great person.
Just another great Clear Sky and a good location too. If you're down Madeira or Redington Beach just pull off to mainland at Park and go up the road to 231st. and you're right there. Nice outdoor al fresco type seating they have their happy hour 2:00 to 6:00 everyday with great drink and food specials as well. Sat at the bar, like we like to do and it was wonderful. What's the great service I had one of their bowls and substituted vegetables instead of rice and it was outstanding for me and it was gluten-free as well many options here for everyone.
We ordered take out and we were really impressed! We ordered gluten free breakfast sandwiches and the portion is huge! The home fries are like skillet potatoes and they were delicious and the fruit was nice and fresh.
Everyone was so kind. It’s definitely a home town kinda feel. It could use some updates as far as the interior goes, but the bathrooms were clean and overall, they do a really great job.
They also have outdoor seating.
This family restaurant really treat you like your family. No matter how I order my food they seem to accommodate my gluten allergy. I’m going through a really difficult time right now and today was extremely tough but when I picked up my to go order, whoever put my order together, drew this picture on my box, and it put a smile on my face. Love this place.!
My go-to location for at least 10 years now. I used to play in the play area here and I'm in my 20's now! This Chick-fil-A never disappoints! Figured they should finally get a review after all these years. Also, love the gluten-free bun option. Waffle fries are also GF. Grilled chicken is gluten and dairy free.
I stop by Westshore Pizza usually for 2 slice and drink for $7. This past Friday I ordered a gluten free and medium supreme type pizza. The wife says the gluten free was very good and my supreme was very good. I called to order and picked up at the location.
Service was incredible, the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. You could immediately tell that there was a lot of care and dedication going into this restaurant and the staff! I was even more pleasantly surprised when I got my food and it was so good!!!!! I wasn’t expecting much out of a wrap was just looking for something quick and easy before the gym but it was so good I ate the whole thing. I got the Florida Gluten Free Wrap, anyone who eats GF knows you’re often taking a gamble if the substitute will be good or not and it was great. Definitely will be back very soon!
this was our first time here and we loved it! Tony, LC, and Elena helped us make a custom bowl and it turned out 10/10. They were so nice and kind, we are going to come back here every week. Side note: The pita chips are so good they almost made me forget I was gluten free!! (This place slays)
