It would be nice if they offered gluten free toast or English muffin. Paying full price and not being able to have a substitution offered or even when asked for what they have in gluten free (fruit or half a waffle) is not accommodating to guests who are gluten free (not by choice). Colorado offers it, they should too.
Expect flavorful sauces and a cozy vibe, but keep in mind the need for a little sprucing up on the outside.

Brisket plate was very good and tender! They understood gluten free and gave an additional side in place of bread! Cole slaw was great! Green beans and corn were a bit plain. There were different flavors of sauce on the table to try that was a nice perk! Waitress staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was dated but clean and tidy. Pleasant surprise for our day of travel! Thanks Bandana’s!
A fun spot with a lively atmosphere, perfect for families, complete with games for kids and TVs for adults to enjoy.

Exceptional pizza. Fresh ingredients and gluten free options don't sacrifice on taste. It appears like a hole in the wall bar, but don't let that take away from the experience. You'll wait 15-20 for your personal pizza, but we'll worth it.
I was in less than a month ago and ordered 2 grilled chicken deluxe meals with GF buns. It was my Husbands first time trying something other than the regular Chick Fil A sandwich and I promised him it would be delicious because he likes bacon and the grilled chicken has a lot of flavor. When we got home there was no bacon on either sandwich. Disappointing but whatever, I called to let them know since it was 2 different sandwiches, I thought maybe an employee didn’t realize they came with bacon. The girl I spoke to offered me 2 free sandwiches on our next visit, although I didn’t ASK for anything, and I accepted. Fast forward to today, I called to get 2 sandwiches, I planned on ordering other items as well but wanted to go through the drive through. I spoke to Jake, who is apparently the owner. After intensively questioning me and acting like I was just looking for a handout, I offered to bring my phone in to show him the order as proof of purchase and so he could see we semi regularly order from there. He was very condescending and asked who offered me sandwiches and said “here’s what I’m gonna do for you. I’m going to send you some free cookies to your app.” My husband and I are Gluten Free, we can’t eat the cookies. I told him so and it seemed like all he wanted to do was argue before eventually speaking over me and saying, “that’s not what we do but I’ll send you some sandwiches to your app.” Well thanks Jake, what stellar customer service. 10/10 will not be back.
Wow. I had to pull over & wait with 6 other cars & didn't get the gluten-free bun with my chicken sandwich. Kinda hard to eat that with my bare hands in my car. Plus the bun is part of the meal. I actually only go to Culver's because they offer good gluten-free buns. Wish I had gotten that. While ordering I was told I could't order a small fry. They don't sell small orders of fries except as part of a meal. I was forced to buy a not very fresh medium fry and the bun was missing, plus at least 10-15 minute wait. I ended up hungry later but since I can't eat wheat I couldn't just grab other food. I hope this is an exception & not how things are done daily. The kids who were bringing out bags of food were hustling, I'll give you credit for that.

Locally owned gem!
This little coffee shop is owned and operated by St. Joe locals with ties of service to their community (firefighting and national guard).
They offer a wide range of breakfast and lunch items, and have gluten free and dairy free options. Their coffee is roasted by the owners and they have tons of drink options.
This small business supports other small businesses by selling items from other businesses in their store. They have tons of cute Hazel's branded items for purchase, as well as, KC Chiefs apparel.
The staff is super friendly and very helpful.
10/10 recommend!
Known for its welcoming vibe and careful attention to detail, this spot makes ordering a breeze and is a great find in St. Joseph.

I have eaten here twice since it opened a few months ago. I am gluten free. The team did a great job of avoiding cross contamination. Sandwich was great! Finding a gluten free lunch in St. Joe isn't always easy. Thanks Jersey Mike's for making it a little easier. 🙂
Expect made-to-order dishes bursting with flavor that take a bit of time but are totally worth the wait for an authentic experience.

I had the tikka with lamb, naan, and rice. I am supposed to stay away from gluten and dairy, but I will do it for Indian food, and this is the best I have ever had. It takes 20 minutes to get your food because it is literally made to order. The staff is super friendly and hospitable.
A delightful spot with standout meats and sauces, plus helpful suggestions to enhance your experience.

As a whole the staff are friendly and the gas station is clean and tidy. The restrooms are always tough to get right but I am always pleasantly surprised that they are super clean and nice. 5+ stars

Staff needs to understand that when someone with a gluten allergy orders the gluten free chicken pesto, that they do not give breadsticks with it. Since I ordered the GLUTEN FREE meal i assumed the breadsticks were also gluten free. I ended up having to use my epipen.

The Cabbage Roll popped up when searching for lunch - and we’re so glad it did. We road trip a lot and love finding great local small businesses. This place is a gem. Not only did it have lots of gluten free options for me (cabbage rolls), my husband loved his brat sandwich…like loved everything from the mustard, to the toast on the bun. The sides were delish. The owner was so kind. We hope to visit again.
