Quirky spot with a cozy vibe, great ambiance, and a nice playlist, but it's in desperate need of a deep clean.

Great lunch for two kids and two adults (two with Celiac). Almost entirely GF menu with GF buns and bread available. Mac n cheese, fries and salads were all great!
Experience nostalgic flavors in a spacious setting, with tender dishes and a fantastic back patio that beckons for a return visit.

Really amazing gluten free pasta. Bravo. My only complaint is that the olive oil provided with the very good gluten free bread was truly not good. Even inexpensive olive oil will have a bit of a green or spicy flavor. It tasted like nothing; I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't olive oil. For a higher end dining experience, I'd expect better.
This charming café offers a cozy atmosphere, a diverse menu with fresh options, and a unique touch, making it a must-visit spot!

This place is fantastic! We went for a quick cocktail, but ended up staying for dinner as the happy hour food menu had some great options. Fantastic service, cocktails, and food across the board (also several gluten free options). Looking forward to returning!

PK is the absolute best! He truly cares about everyone he serves and will cater to all of your needs. I was vegetarian and gluten free and he made sure everything was prepared to the highest standards
Cha Pa was perfect. Lota of vegan and gluten free options with no sacrifice of flavor. Everything was delicious! Service was great and the coata were very reasonable.

I used to come to the Meatball Shop when I was in grad school in 2012/2013. It was wonderful then! BUT it was TERRIBLE yesterday. I usually don't write reviews but I want to make sure people understand how bad their food is. I ordered the chicken meatballs and they were undercooked, pink and raw inside. It smelled funny too. I ordered it on a bed of kale (worst decision ever) because they kale was sautéed but tasted rotten. Yuck. My husband who is gluten free ordered the chicken one too because that was the only one gf and he was nauseous and sick that night. He has bouts of nausea and a severe migraine because of the food. Thankfully I was already on a strong course of antibiotics for something else, so I was not affected as much. This was my first trip to NYC after 12 years and I was looking forward to eating here. BIG MISTAKE.
Chill vibe with a cute brick interior, serving up delicious Detroit-style pizza and great drinks in a lively atmosphere.

This place has the best Detroit style pizza that I've had in the city! I've been so many times and it's always so good. They also have gluten free options.

I came here for dinner this evening with a friend and it was delicious. We shared the calamari & both decided to order the chicken marsala. She subbed her pasta out for mashed potatoes. We were both super pleased with our orders. Very flavorful and good portions for a good price. The wait staff was very attentive as well. Upon leaving, I asked the hostess if they had any gluten-free options for a friend who was traveling to the city next month and she said they did have a gf pasta that could be subbed out. I can’t wait to recommend this place to her and I can’t wait to return when I am in town again!
Clearly a sweet tooth's hidden gem in NYC, known for its unique spiked tres leches and an unmatched choice for cupcakes that put others to shame.

So yummy! Got a passion fruit + mango layered cake/mousse and gluten free cookie. I have food allergies and really appreciated the service and clearly knowing what things to avoid. I’ll def be coming back to try more of the desserts!

Our party of 5 called for a reservation about 5:30 on Tuesday evening as we were enroute. We were seated promptly when we arrived a few minutes later. I am gluten free and had a great meal of Capresse Salad and Penne Bolognese. Several in our party had two kinds of pizza, which they said was very good. My husband had Spaghetti Bolognese which he thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back!!
Charming atmosphere with a stylish bar and extensive menu, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Found this little gem and reserved for dinner. We were supposed to be in the Crystal Room but our host let us know that there was a big family with lots of kids so we opted to stay downstairs for a quieter meal. The main floor is decorated very nicely and while there were a number of other guests, it wasn't very loud at all. The food and drinks were fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the prices were reasonable considering the area. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options as well, for those with dietary needs. I would definitely dine here again!
Fresh sushi and great prices make for a fantastic experience, even if the vibe is a bit on the plain side.

This is an awesome sushi place in NYC. The food was delicious, service was great, and the prices were incredible! The server was also knowledgeable about what I’d be able to have with my gluten allergy. I wouldn’t say it’s a place to go for the atmosphere as it’s pretty plain inside, but that doesn’t matter when everything else is so great!!! 100% recommend for fresh and delicious sushi for a totally fair price! We came here for my partner’s 30th birthday and were not disappointed :)

Delicious breakfast & great coffee. Wonderful friendly staff, eager to help with your dining experience. Great gluten free & milk alternative options. Unfortunately we couldn’t linger longer as we were meeting a boat tour but hope to return before leaving. Thank you

Absolutely loved this place! Visited last minute for a late brunch on a girls trip to NYC, and it did not disappoint! Great gluten free options for my friend, and great portions for the price! I had a custom omelet, and they provide you with many meats, cheeses, and veggies as potential add-ins. Manager (I believe he was the manager, at least) was super friendly and we had a long conversation about plants because of the plants in the restaurant. Loved this place so much and wish I lived in NYC just to go back.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE YOU JUST REMEMBER TO STAY AWAY FROM US!
BELOW THE REASONS:
1- JUST SITTING ABANDONED BY THE STAFF DESPITE FEW PEOPLE IN THE PLACE.
2- THE WAITER FINALLY ARRIVED, UNPREPARED FOR THE DISHES AND INTERRUPTED THE ORDER SEVERAL TIMES
3- POOR OPTIONS AND NO AVAILABILITY FOR THE CUSTOMER
4- PROBLEM FOR ALLERGIC PEOPLE (GLUTEN AND LACTOSE) DESPITE THE NOTES AT THE TIME OF BOOKING
5 - FOOD: SIMPLE UNWASHED SALAD, RAW SALMON WITH A STRANGE AFTERTAste, WATERED LEMON CHICKEN WITHOUT FLAVOR AND WITH INGREDIENTS THAT DO NOT BIND, OVERCOOKED PASTA DROWNED IN ACID SAUCE
6- SURROUNDING CLEANING (SWEEPING ON THE GROUND AS IF IT WAS CLOSING)
7- EVERY TIME THE COLD AIR INLET DOOR IS OPENED
8- “MENU JO” ADVERTISED NEITHER PROPOSED OR WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND WHEN BROUGHT THE LIST NOT AVAILABLE FOR ONLY ONE PERSON BUT MADE MANDATORY FOR THE WHOLE TABLE
9- HIGH BILL WITH THE 18% TIP ALREADY INSERTED WITHOUT GIVING YOU THE POSSIBILITY TO DECIDE HOW MUCH TO GIVE, PERHAPS BECAUSE YOU ARE AWARE OF THE POOR SERVICE AND QUALITY
10- IN SUMMARY IT MAKES YOU CHILLER TO FIND THE FACT THAT JO BASTIANIC (WHO I ALSO APPRECIATED BOTH FROM TV PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL MEDIA BEFORE ENTERING ONE OF HIS RESTAURANTS) COULD BE SO WORSE THAN THOSE HE CRITICIZES
NB: IN 3 OUT OF 5 WE WERE SICK AT NIGHT WITH DIARRHEA

My friends and I went here after skating in Central Park. It was on my friend’s radar since it offered gluten-free pasta. The truffle gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Gnocchi was super light and soft. Truffle flavors were well infused throughout and a handful of truffle slices adorned the top of the dish. Price point was excellent for a dish like this at $32.50. My friends were extremely satisfied with their dishes too. They got the gluten-free pene in white clam sauce and orecchiette with broccoli rabe & Italian sausage. Atmosphere was upscale and sleek. Service was great and they accommodated my friend’s allergies. Will stop by if I am in the area again.

This is an absolute treasure of the restaurant! The service is excellent and the food is amazing. Their seafood is fresh and I personally love their scallop or prawns tapas to start. You also can't go wrong with their paella! For those of you who are gluten free all of their paella is gluten free! Finally their tres leches is a favorite dessert of mine! Overall 100/10 experience and food and will definitely be going back! (Try their peach sangria it’s delicious!)

The food in this place was WILD. First of all they were very accommodating to my gluten-free needs and there is a wealth of choices. Incredible flavor, everything I ate made me want to lick the plate in a way you should not do so in public, but I went for it. I normally find chicken kebab to be good at best and typically middling so i usually get lamb and beef— but the combo I ordered had all three and the chicken was OUTstanding— the best chicken I’ve had at a restaurant with this kind of cuisine. Such good flavor. There was also something with eggplant that was beautiful, and the pudding like dessert was a fine touch at the end. Our “server” seemed like he might be in charge of the whole place, he was so knowledgeable on everything and so kind, and really imparted upon our party the ethos of good food leading to a good and long life. It’s very clear that these are not just words at Ariana Afghan, but a way of life. I was happy to taste a little bit of it!
This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant. I just had the Shakshuka Classic. AMAZING! And the bread is heavenly! Technically supposed to eat gluten free but the lure of the thick pita called so loudly the NYC traffic sounded like a whisper. Their Sangria is lovely as well. Highly recommend! Next visit to NYC, I will return.
Enjoy a customizable bowl experience with tasty options that cater to diverse dietary needs in a vibrant NYC setting.

Came to New York City to see Hamilton and needed a place for my gluten free family to eat. Staff was helpful and the meal was delicious! My son has EoE and he found options too. Will happily return.
This is one of my go-to restaurants with local friends and out-of-town visitors. The food is consistently great and the service is always top notch. Last time there I ordered chicken shish kebabs. My companion got some hummus for his bread and while ordering I mentioned that I cannot eat gluten (I always double check that my order is gluten-free.) The waiter offered to bring some carrot slices to enjoy with the hummus, which was very thoughtful, and the whole meal was delicious.
They are always quick and accurate for the order. And Yes, the food is great and waitress are well trained, speak good English and knowledgeable enough that they can answer the allergy (Gluten free etc.) ingredients question without going back to the kitchen.
Note: your map app may have this listed as across the street from their actual location. Moved not long ago. This joint is basically decadence incarnate. Customizable donuts and gourmet ice cream. I was grateful to be gluten intolerant and still sated from lunch to prevent me from succumbing to the temptation!
