Fernando has a fabulous menu with many Gluten free options. (Just ask him) I have never gotten sick here and have Celiac. This is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Service is friendly, compassionate and thorough. Highly recommend them for everything from weeknight meals to large family gatherings. They do both wonderfully, you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for gluten-free Asian food in Boerne, Texas, this spot is a hidden gem! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—especially when I had questions about what I could safely eat with dietary restrictions.
Pro tip: it’s not on the menu, but you can order their Lo Mein with egg noodles to make it gluten-free (the egg noodles are thinner but still super tasty!). Their fried spring rolls are also gluten-free—which was such a treat since it’s hard to find fried options that are safe. I didn’t realize how much I missed fried food until I had them!
When ordering the dinner special, they were able to substitute the spring rolls in place of the usual egg roll and crab rangoon to make it gluten-free. Also, they’ll let you do a half-and-half plate of pretty much any house specials—not just the ones listed on the menu, which is perfect if you want to try a couple different things.
They do not serve alcohol, but it’s BYOB, which is a great bonus if you want to bring your own wine or drinks.
Whether you’re celiac, gluten-sensitive, or just trying to eat gluten-free, this place is one of the best options for gluten-free Chinese food in the Hill Country area. Definitely recommend!

Gluten free pasta w/marinara - pasta was overcooked and super crumbly. Zero flavor, they’re just not a good noodle. Marinara tasted super bland too. I made pasta at home with minimal effort earlier this week and it was much better than this was, super disappointed.
It’s a run of the mill Italian restaurant, which is so disappointing because the Fredericksburg location was amazing.

I'm not sure why this place got a 3 star review about not being able to use coupons, there's a box of BOGO cards and coupon flyers galore. The service was excellent. So, the wife convinced me to drive an hour to try a new barbecue place in the middle of nowhere. I didn’t care where it was, she said barbecue. I blame Facebook for most things.😂
Anyways, we get there late afternoon most everything is gone, except for brisket and sausage. That is absolutely fine by me, those are the staples that will do! Got some macaroni and cheese, charro beans, and the truffle fries.
First off, the marbled brisket and the lean brisket, both outstanding! The bark on the side of the brisket was my absolute favorite. The sausage was probably some of the best that I’ve had in a long time and I’m not really a big sausage fan, but it was really good!
The mac & cheese was outstanding along with the beans, I really liked the cilantro in the beans, and the truffle fries didn’t last long.
Like some of the other posts, yeah the flies were annoying, but if you were eating brisket outside at home, you would probably have the same problem. So, I overlooked it.
The chocolate chip cookie lasted about 30 seconds, and that banana pudding was pretty damn good!
I had the chance to complement the pitmaster on a job well done, and the pits that he’s using, the entire staff was so kind and polite, true Texans! I would like to thank you all for the great food, and the great atmosphere that you all provided there. We will definitely be back! Thanks for taking my money, lol. And for Google review purposes, I highly suggest it for vegetarian options and anything gluten-free.😂
