We visited here twice whilst we were staying locally. Both times the food was excellent. We had the Sunday Roast, we went for the large and it was massive, definitely only needed a small. The meat was amazing, just fell apart and melted in the mouth. A couple of us have coeliac disease, so was great they could offer a gluten free version, it just came without a Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and cauliflower cheese. The second time we visited we got the burger and fish and chips gluten free and it was just as good as the first time we went. They did say the 4 ounce burger patties weren’t gluten free, so they gave me a 6 ounce patty with the bacon and cheese instead, it even came with gluten free onion rings which I wasn’t expecting! Also very dog friendly, the second time they even brought out a pot of gammon offcuts for the dog! We would definitely return if we were in the area.
