We were here from Ontario, and read that they served gluten free burgers and fries (my wife and son both have Celiac Disease). They were delicious!! Best burger and fries they've had, and my other two sons and I both loved our non gluten free burgers too. We all liked everything so much we came back a second time during our visit! Excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend!
With its cozy vibes, fun decor, and a menu of large drinks and tasty treats, this spot is a must-visit for a delightful coffee break.

Easily my favourite go to restaurant for my family. Menu is extensive and reliable. My son is celiac and they take extra care always and have lots for him to choose from.
Expect vibrant flavors and a lively atmosphere, perfect for enjoying tacos, but seek outdoor seating for a quieter experience.

This restaurant is AMAZING !! We ordered the nachos and several tacos. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband and I both have allergies, gluten & egg, and the Manager, Chris, came out to talk with us in regard to our allergies to make sure the dishes we ordered wouldn't be of concern. Thanks so much! 10/10!
Enjoy a cozy, community-focused vibe with amazing coffee, local art, and a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for everyone.

Nice cafe although I think some of the previously posted pictures are wrong (don’t belong to the cafe).
They seem to have the nondairy options for vegetarian or vegan people; however, that doesn’t help me as I don’t want to be forced to drink these so-called “milk”s just because I am lactose intolerant. That is to say, they don’t have lactose free cow’s milk. I can’t have each of the nondairy “milk” options for various medical reasons but in any case it could be the case that I just don’t like them. So I would prefer if they had an actual lactose-free milk option.
Because of the reasons described above, I always have to get black coffee or tea. Their coffee is good and they have nice herbal tea options, so it’s not that bad. However I couldn’t try many of their lattes. I tried a matcha latte once with oat milk and it made me sick (as I mentioned I can’t actually have oat milk or any of the other nondairy “milk”s, but I tried it as they didn’t have an option that would work for me—big mistake of mine). And I didn’t try any other latte or any cafe latte.
The gluten-free mini loaf was way too sugary. I’d recommend adjusting the ingredients in their recipe.
I like the vibes in this cafe. Plenty of tables. The big table by the entrance is good but it is uneven and kind of bothers me. The chair pads are somewhat dirty though and I don’t feel comfortable sitting on the padded chairs.
I find the morning staff more friendly than the afternoon staff, although both parties are friendly enough.
Cozy patio vibes and a solid happy hour make this spot a new favorite for tasty bites and quick service.

We just discovered Bao Down and it’s our new favourite place. The staff was polite, the service was speedy, and the gluten free options were legitimately impressive.

Visited Brewhall on Sunday with a group of 12, and we had a fantastic experience. The beer selection was excellent, including gluten-free options for both beer and food. The atmosphere was great, with high ceilings, clean washrooms, arcade games, and a fun photo booth. The outdoor seating added to the overall vibe, making it an ideal spot for larger groups or gatherings. Highly recommend!

Excellent!! The food is soooo good. Fassil is a small low key family restaurant where you can find great comfort food. We shared a big platter with many tasting choices. I also had the Gluten-free injera which was amazing!!

This is such a cute authentic place for an afternoon treat (the matcha latte and tofu pudding were great, they have tiramisu & cheesecakes) or a fairly priced Japanese meal with a delightful service. I'll try to come back for their omu rice and gluten-free options!

Finally found our Pho place!
Delicious broth, not too fat and definitely not bland. Amazing service in the phone with attention to details. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was gluten free. Super reasonable prices too!
Close to authentic Malaysian food. Great flavours and good spice. Has gluten free noodle options.
Service was ok and the sever was very soft spoken (could barely hear her talk) but delicious food for the price. Not a big fan of the squid appetizer cause it's a cold squid dish but the mains definitely hit the spot ☺️🔥
Nook is the place to be for pasta in Olympic Village!
Always delicious pasta & pizza, seasonal rotating specials and gluten-free options. Can’t ask for more!
Great food and even better service. They greeted and seated the 3 of us at a table for 6 even when there's smaller tables around. They even had gluten free soy sauce for my friend who had a gluten allergy. Their bento box D is well priced for $15 which would have been more anywhere else. Comes with ebi sunomono, tempura, a salmon skewer, sashimi, nigiri and one of their classic rolls.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with a passionate cook eager to share details about fresh ingredients and flavorful homemade salsas.

The cook here is happy to tell you about what's in his food so for someone like me who is vegan and gluten free I felt very happy to try something here. And I'm glad I did They have burrito bowl was very delicious especially the homemade salsas. I'll be back.

My go-to Thai restaurant is Thai Away Home. They are very accommodating to everyone, even though I don't have allergies myself. It's great that they can make noodle dishes with gluten-free soy sauce and offer fish-free sauce ingredients for those who can't have seafood. Almost everything is dairy-free except for the thai iced tea, I believe. I'm happy I can order food from them with friends who have food allergies. In the West, we've hurt our bodies with our dietary choices and food processing methods. It's wonderful that other food cultures, like Thai, are accommodating us and allowing everyone to eat happily. Let’s all be kind and patient with each other.
Experience a cozy, traditional vibe that feels like dining in a charming Mexican home with uniquely accommodating service.

The restaurant kindly made me a burrito bowl since I am gluten-free, and the burrito is usually wrapped in a wheat flour tortilla. The lady was very accommodating and quickly answered my questions as I confirmed that none of the ingredients contained gluten. The food tasted very traditional, and the old-world charm of the restaurant made me feel like I was dining in a house in Mexico. I will definitely come back.
It has a cozy, nostalgic vibe reminiscent of a grandparent’s home, with fresh pasta that brings a touch of gourmet to the experience.

I can’t say enough good things about Mercato di Luigi —the staff here are absolute gems! From the second I walked in, Dario at the till was so welcoming and genuinely friendly, and was able to attend to my gluten free allergy. You can tell he actually cares about the customers, not just taking orders. He took the time to chat and made the whole experience feel personal, which is so rare these days.
And then there’s Nate in the kitchen—this guy knows what he’s doing! Not only was the food amazing, but you could tell he puts real effort into making sure everything is just right. It’s one thing to have great food, but when the people behind it are this awesome, it makes the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for a spot with incredible service and people who actually care, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!
Very nice place. Food was really good, and they have some great gluten free options too. Got the seafood platter to start and it was delicious. Atmosphere was nice too
They had nice music playing.
A cozy spot with top-notch coffee and a chill patio vibe across from a park, perfect for leisurely mornings or relaxing afternoons.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie
We've been smelling the coffee roasting for ages and finally started to come regular. Although the seating is hit and miss – sometimes, we had to go elsewhere because there were many patrons parked long term with their laptops – we always try this place first because all the staff make consistent espresso drinks with excellent micro-foam and the order takers are experienced and accurate. They have an amazing variety of sandwiches, and it was my intent to try one soon except I finally became a vegan and missed the boat because they don't have any vegan+gluten-free sandwich offerings. I used to love the carrot cake, and still do, it is not sweet and very addictive, but now that I cannot eat eggs, wheat and dairy, that's out as well. My partner continues to enjoy it though, no longer able to share it with me. Despite the fact that the space is rustic and the couches are too soft, we love that it is on the second floor and gives us a great view of Jonathan Rogers Park and Vancouver. In the winter, they don't have a canopy, so we cannot sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. I vote that they install a new rain-proof awning and replace the cold metal chairs outside!!!
I was recommended this place several times so I decided to give a try. I opted for the Curried Cauli salad, the only vegan and gluten free salad featured on their menu. The ingredients were fresh and well paired with the light pomegranate vinaigrette. This salad tasted good and filled me with energy for the rest of the day. I’m not a fast food fan but Fatburger is different! The care and attention that is put into the burgers is amazing. So delicious and you can’t beat a classic burger like this. I’m gluten free and a lettuce wrap burger is one of the most affordable lunches in the city! Delicious 😋

Cute little restaurant in Mount Pleasant serving some top quality sushi (mostly Oceanwise).
They offer gluten free soy for the gluten free people in your life - just make sure to ask for it!
Sushi is fresh and well prepared - only tried the rolls my first trip.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, but it ended up being a disappointment unfortunately. The food was mediocre at best especially for its price.
Very limited options if you have dietary restrictions and allergies such as gluten, dairy or vegetarian. Luckily there are several amazing restaurants in the lower mainland that are more than accommodating. They do NOT allow modifications to any of the dishes and unfortunately if you have any restrictions you are limited. The pasta was too salty and the other pasta ended up causing my mother's stomach to hurt.
The service was good, our server was okay, he seemed to be getting frustrated when my husband was asking questions but the other staff were kind and attentive.
The ambiance was nice, but it was quite tight seating. Felt cramped.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming.
