The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! I went with a group to carry things back for the family, and I'm convinced the only thing we didn't take was the bakery with us :)
Things we got: date, key lime & strawberry squares, cinnamon buns, lemon blueberry danishes, chubby bunnies, bourbon tarts, a chicken pot pie, and a cherry pie.
For a family that has egg allergies, gluten & dairy intolerance, everyone enjoyed the food. The only constructive criticism I'd give is maybe that the sucrose could be a bit less? However, overall, we enjoyed ghe food and will absolutely be back :)
A buzzing spot known for its tasty dishes and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a fun meal with friends.

Stumbled upon this place as we were visiting the area from Toronto. I loved that everything was GF. A lot of dairy free options as well! The food was fresh, minimal ingredients and my stomach felt great after. We tried the breakfast platter, London fog latte, and a few DF/GF pastries that were delicious! Highly recommend the crème brûlée! I haven’t had one since my gluten/dairy intolerance and I was in heaven! I purchased a few more for the road. They also had a Mother’s Day high tea which was so cool because I haven’t found a gluten free high tea place in Toronto. We hope to be back next time we are in the area and would love to try high tea.
This spot is a hidden gem for unique treats that taste indistinguishable from non-gluten-free options, making every visit a delightful surprise.

Winnie’s is the best! As someone who doesn’t necessarily need gluten free options, I would still choose to eat here. The food is so delicious you don’t even notice it’s gluten free. My husband feels the same and he is a tough critic! They do have dairy free options as well which is great for me. From sweet to savory they have it all. I even got an amazing cake made for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto that was not only delicious but so cute and fun!
Get ready for amazing flavors and a huge variety of options, making it a go-to spot for anyone craving quality Asian cuisine.

I ate at this restaurant when it was called Riz, and i just went under their new name. The menu is expanded and is all gluten free. It is a treat to be able to order anything and not have to ask about ingredients. As a huge bonus, they had a dessert pastry selection of items I’ve never seen available in gluten free versions. I had a chocolate eclair which was amazing.
A cozy gem with a creative menu and delightful mocktails, perfect for a laid-back meal or a stroll by the lake afterward.

We stop here every time we take our pups to the vet or make an excuse to stop in and get their delicious gluten free food. You can’t go wrong with anything you get there. The quality is incredible. The food is fresh. The owner is extremely kind and your food will always be prepared with care.

I have celiac disease and got sick at this restaurant. Our server Jennifer was terrible. I don't think my celiac was taken seriously at all. One of the people at my table who is not a celiac got sick with food poisoning as well. Had been here before as it had been a good experience but will not return anymore. It is not a cheap restaurant either. So if you are going as a celiac you might be ok or not. Overall not a good experience.
This spot is a go-to for an amazing variety of gluten-free goodies, from flaky pastries to must-try frozen finds, perfect for everyone!

I absolutely LOVE this bakery! Truly a celiac heaven - I've been back twice since going with my partner because I was so happy with the experience.
I recommend the beef patties, anything by Riz, eclairs, crullers, and my friend loved the samosa (he's not even GF)!
Absolutely worth a long browse through their market, freezers and fresh bakes.
This cozy spot stands out for its dedicated gluten-free kitchen area, ensuring safe and delicious options for everyone to enjoy.

I came to eat the Gluten Free Fish and Chips on Good Friday 2025!! It's very hard to find GF for F&C and I appreciate Schooner's offering them. Quality and food are great despite being very pricey. Our order was messed up and they forget to give us an item. I called and spoke with Tiffany the manager who offered to either reimburse us or give us the item with a free side (we choose the later). If you have trued Schooner's I'd defiantly recommend it.
Offering wholesome, generous servings with plenty of plant-based options, this spot is perfect for a quick, healthy meal or post-workout treat.

This place was incredible!!! We looked for a safe gf place for our celiac daughter, and this one was such a treat in that it is all gf. But even more amazing was the healthy, plentiful and incredibly tasty meals we had. We left fully satisfied and it kept us going for a very long time. Amazing service as well. Would highly recommend! Thank you for giving us an amazing meal. We hope for Impact restaurants to come to Vancouver, our home.

Fantastic restaurant! Tammy was incredibly knowledgeable about what items were gluten free and provided a binder to double check what items were okay. There were so many options for burgers, and the poutine was also gluten free! A wonderful experience, and definitely would go back!

As 3 out of 4 of us are celiac, we're limited to where we eat, so rarely eat out due to cross contamination and lack of protocols. This place was amazing!!! Omg, food was delicious, and service was phenomenal! Best of all, it was safe! Took my son here for his birthday. Stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed! Parking on site or on streets, we had no difficulty finding parking:)

Plant Matter Kitchen is such a wonderful place to enjoy healthier, delicious options. Everything on the menu is vegan, and most items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free, which I really appreciate.
One of my absolute favourite desserts is their blueberry cheesecake—so creamy and flavourful, you’d never guess it’s vegan and gluten-free. Their chocolate cake is just as divine—rich, moist, and totally indulgent. Truly a slice of heaven! The presentation is always so beautiful.
The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff, especially the waitresses, are always so friendly and lovely. It’s a spot I keep coming back to, and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy.

Absolutely amazing experience here. Truly celiac safe. Dedicated gluten free area. Gluten free wraps. I’ve never gotten to have shawarma before in my entire life so this was amazing. Staff were so friendly and quick to ease our cross contamination concerns. Well worth the trip out here.

Old British pub atmosphere.
Great selection of imported and domestic beers.
Monday is "Gluten Free Day". All items on the menu are GF. 2 people, have been several times and have tried: chicken wings (corn flour coating), burgers on GF bun, haddock on rice with chilli sauce, curry, fish tacos (soft, corn taco), fish (GF batter) and chips, chicken on a bun. Generous portions and have loved everything that they swrve. It's a different dessert special every week: carrot cake was outstanding, turtle cheesecake was very rich and very very good.
Reasonable prices: 2 dinners, 2 soft drinks, 2 imported draft beers, with tip was $70. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
This place is great. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best food, service and atmosphere really. Gluten-free AND vegan options? My husband is very happy!
I couldn't decide which type of pizza to get because they all look delicious so they let me get half and half--- BBQ Chicken pizza and Renaissance. They were both soo delicious in their own way.
We also had their Caesar salad and homemade cookies (which were pure chocolately, marshmallowy, cinnamony goodness 🍪). Wow! I wish we lived closer, we would be there every weekend.
This cozy spot wows with a fantastic selection of treats and baked goods, leaving everyone craving more after just one visit.

Amazing time and food. We were 3. Stayed away from the dips so that we didn’t have to segregate with normal pita and gf pita. 7 dishes split 3 ways and just gorgeous food. Felt very safe there after asking questions.

Read the reviews about the gluten-free fish and chips, and decided to check it out for a date with a Celiac girl. We were blown away, crispy batter, moist tender fish, house cut fries, all in a quiet, tucked away little spot with plenty of old school diner/pub themes. Will definitely be coming back.

One of the most enjoyable meals I have had in a LONG time. I have been to Greece before, and authentic Greek food is one of my absolute favorites. That being said, it is extremely hard to find a restaurant in North America that comes even close to an authentic Greek experience. So stepping inside the doors of Kasbah was a very magical and nostalgic meal for me. Everything about it screamed “authentic”. From the atmosphere to the items on the menu (some which I haven’t seen on a menu since I was actually in Athens), everything was incredible. A simple Greek salad turned into pure magic. And the souvlaki made me happy from the corners of my mouth to the tips of my toes. To top it off, the menu is mostly gluten free (or could be modified to be gluten free), and they handled my allergies to both soy and gluten with ease and grace. We were only visiting the area, but this is a meal I will be dreaming about for years. It’s almost worth the 20-hour drive.. 😏 If you get a chance, try it. You won’t regret it.
Hats off to our waitress Cassidy! She took such wonderful care of us, and we just loved her!
