Delicious celiac safe establishment with world class baked goods and crepes. Their almond and chocolate croissants are fantastic! The crepes were devine. The owners were present, extremely friendly and confirmed their food was celiac safe. I was diagnosed with celiac 8 months ago. In my prior life, an almond croissant with morning coffee was a favorite. This was my first gluten free croissant and it was the best one I’ve ever had…better than I remember. Please visit this cafe and enjoy everything on their menu. Bon appetite!

I'm writing from Alberta! I was in Homesense a few days ago and found Susie Sans Gluten cookie flour - I eat gluten-free, and generally haven't had a lot of luck baking gluten-free treats that taste or act the same as treats made with regular flour. I turned the package over and saw this company is Canadian, and I thought - why not? Let's give it a shot. And oh. My. GOSH. I made my favourite cookie recipe from a blog I follow, subbed the flour for Susie's GF flour, and produced the yummiest, chewiest, MOST PERFECT cookies!!! My husband couldn't even tell they were gluten free!! I was honestly blown away. I found Susie's store online and reached out to her, and she was SO KIND and let me know I could buy stock through homesense or well.ca. So I may have placed a large order through Well to try some of the other flours and mixes.... haha can't wait to continue experimenting. Highly, highly recommend, based on the quality of the product and how kind this product's creator is, that you check this store out if you're in the area (wish I could!!), or if you're like me and too far away, purchase some of these flours online. I promise you won't be disappointed. Get ready to level up your gluten-free baking. The service is lousy, and there is a big lack of hygiene. Gluten-free pastries are not bad but not great either. If you're looking for a quick gluten-free pastry this is good. Otherwise it's not worth it.

Not only one of the best bakeries in the city, it’s 100% gluten free! Makes it a lot easier to shop for friends and family without having to triple check labels and ingredients. A good amount of options can be made vegan, too; we’ve served cakes to large groups and many people were impressed that they were gluten and lactose free.

Winnie’s is the best! As someone who doesn’t necessarily need gluten free options, I would still choose to eat here. The food is so delicious you don’t even notice it’s gluten free. My husband feels the same and he is a tough critic! They do have dairy free options as well which is great for me. From sweet to savory they have it all. I even got an amazing cake made for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto that was not only delicious but so cute and fun!

I got a lemon raspberry cake for a party it was perfect it fed all the people I needed to feed and it was absolutely delicious I would totally recommend and I'm actually holding myself back from going again and grabbing all their tasty looking treats. It feels like being in an actual bakery again instead of kinda being stuck with like very little variety. This place has tons they have donuts and eclairs all gluten free I love it plus staff is super nice.

This place was incredible!!! We looked for a safe gf place for our celiac daughter, and this one was such a treat in that it is all gf. But even more amazing was the healthy, plentiful and incredibly tasty meals we had. We left fully satisfied and it kept us going for a very long time. Amazing service as well. Would highly recommend! Thank you for giving us an amazing meal. We hope for Impact restaurants to come to Vancouver, our home.

Love this place. They do both gluten free and standard baked goods plus a big variety of vegan treats and they're all spectactulor. They recently open a coffee shop inside too. The bougie drinks are a little on the sweet side for my taste but I can't argue with the quality. It's delicious! (the cold brew especially). I'm in trouble with them so convenitently close to my office.

I was THRILLED when I stumbled across this bakery today. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A gluten free bakery! I got three cupcakes, two butter tarts, and an apple crisp, and everything was absolutely 10/10. The texture of the cupcakes was AMAZING— absolutely blown away. Thank you!!!!!

While their donuts are decent for Gluten Free we've had their cookies twice now and Both times they've been so under cooked the middle is basically raw. Not a great experience with the cookies. 9/10 reccomend the donuts though.

Plant Matter Kitchen is such a wonderful place to enjoy healthier, delicious options. Everything on the menu is vegan, and most items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free, which I really appreciate. One of my absolute favourite desserts is their blueberry cheesecake—so creamy and flavourful, you’d never guess it’s vegan and gluten-free. Their chocolate cake is just as divine—rich, moist, and totally indulgent. Truly a slice of heaven! The presentation is always so beautiful. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff, especially the waitresses, are always so friendly and lovely. It’s a spot I keep coming back to, and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy.

As someone with multiple dietary restrictions, I really appreciate how clear and easy to navigate Virtue Bakery is. No guessing games, everything is labeled, and the staff behind the counter genuinely understand the ingredients. It is refreshingly straightforward without ever compromising on flavour. Their offerings include all gluten-free, and a variety of dairy-free, egg-free, and low-sugar baked goods, catering to a wide range of folks. They do have nuts on-site, goodies share a display case, however whatever is labelled as nuts has nuts in it and other stuff doesn't. A rare gem for those of us with dietary restrictions! I love the df lavender brownie and df banana bread.

Nice atmosphere and service, but inedible gluten free pastries. As someone who has tried the majority of gluten free bakeries in Toronto and countless storebought goods, it’s ludicrous that this bakery is charging $5.93 for a single black forest cupcake. The cupcake had a weird texture, it was like munching on uncooked quinoa in between cake crumb. The frosting was overwhelmingly sweet and not creamy at all. I’ve had plenty of good vegan frosting at other bakeries—this was not it. There was very little cherry filling and it should have been a jam-like consistency, instead I think they just soaked dried cherries in sugar syrup. Not to mention the black forest cupcake is a “seasonal” flavor which is how the bakery justifies an extra $0.75 surcharge. Last I checked, dried cherries are available year-round so I’m confused and you should be too.

Adorable cafe with a small selection of food and a great selection of treats! My friend was craving pasta at a good price, so this is where we went. I tried one of their paninis and it was so delicious! I love that they also have gluten-free options for another friend I was traveling with. The staff was all so kind as well! So impressed to find a place that cares about the ingredients they use for the health and well being of their clients. LOVE that they are gluten free and have vegan options. Take out, or sit down that doesn't set your health back is what Toronto needs more of, and this company has it!

Not all who wander are lost.

My travel partner and I each had a gluten-free free lamborghini with salad. Fresh ingredients, meat had nice seasonings, and a good flat bread (gf "bun"). They earn a double tasty and a recommendation to all GF eaters out there. Already planning a return visit when back in Vancouver in a few weeks.

This place is unreal! One of the best breakfasts of my life. Begging for y’all to open a location in LA. Objectively delicious breakfast. Plus perfect for my gluten and dairy free needs. I’m still thinking about that hollandaise. Kind staff. Good vibes. Went back the next day it was so good. If I lived in Victoria I would eat here once a week at least. Wish I could give more stars. First I had a chocolate chip muffin, came back same day for an oatmeal cookie, came back next day for this incredible Breakfast Bowl. What a gem! I’m plant exclusive and gluten free, and here, I ate like a king. I’m coming back to Toronto this summer, this will be a must stop.
